This update adds the following...
Optimised the infantry system's memory usage as much as I can. The only way to improve it further is switch to a skeleton system which I will do in the future.
Implemented the new terrain mapping system for the current map. This system uses a new shader system to colourise the terrain based on its height instead of static textures which makes it more memory efficient and will also stay up to date automatically if the terrain ever changes. ːsteamsunnyː
Repositioned some of the sectors to fill out the new map area allowing the random mission system to make use of the new terrain areas. This means there is greater distance between sectors in the BLUFOR part of the map and therefore more space between air defences. I think this more accurately represents a battlefield as HG:DEX was extremely target dense giving you little room to manoeuvre where in real life it is more "pockets" of defences around strategic locations. This should address that especially when I do the same to the REDFOR area. The sectors themselves can also be bigger meaning units will be more spread out which, I think, reflects real world warzones more accurately. Feedback on this is very welcome because getting the balance between room to move, target density and overall mission length will be quite important.
