Franchise Mode arrives today, and it opens up a whole new part of the Maximum Football universe. Dynasty has given players the chance to build their own college programs, recruit stars, and shape careers from the ground up. Now you get to carry those stories forward and create new ones in the pros.
Franchise is Available Now!
Try your hand at managing a pro team by building your roster from free agency and the draft, running the front office and stadium amenities, and making the game-time decisions to cement your franchise into a league leader.
Franchise brings two full leagues into one game, giving you a complete football universe to play with. You can steer a team through the pros while keeping an eye on the next wave of talent coming through Dynasty. If you have been recruiting and developing players in Dynasty, their stories continue here. Your college stars can become draft prospects, and you get to follow their careers from their first offer all the way to the bright lights of the league.
If you want the full breakdown of how everything works, be sure to check out our deep dive. It covers scouting, schedules, coaches, drafting, player roles, and all the systems that tie this mode together.
How to Play Franchise Mode
You can jump into Franchise in a way that fits your playstyle. Here are the options available:
Franchise Premium Mode: If you want unlimited access without worrying about tickets, you can pick up Franchise Premium. It gives you full access to the mode whenever you want to play.
Legend Edition: The Legend Edition gives you unlimited access to both Dynasty and Franchise, along with a bundle of exclusive items. If you love building programs and creating multi year stories, this is the all in package.
Tickets: Tickets are your season keys. One ticket equals one full season, and any tickets you have earned up to this point can be used in both Dynasty and Franchise. If you have been saving them, they are ready to go.
New Weather Effects
This launch also gives us the chance to expand on another feature that players have been asking for. Weather arrived in 1.0 as a visual flourish, but it is now a real part of the on-field experience.
Rain and snow can create messy conditions that increase the chance of fumbles and change how you approach each drive. Your opponent will feel it too, since coaches now adapt their play calling based on what is happening in the sky.
Updated Injury System
Injuries have also taken a big step forward. In the past, only ball carriers could get hurt, which meant the injury bug hit the same handful of positions over and over. With this update, every position on the field is part of the system. Linemen can go down in the trenches, defenders can take a bad hit, and the wear and tear of a long season finally feels real.
Multi-week injuries now function the way they should, so the depth of your roster matters in a meaningful way. Building a complete team is more important than ever, and your decisions on draft day and in free agency will carry real weight throughout the season.
Winter Classic Showcase Winners
As you explore the mode, keep an eye out for some familiar community creativity. The winners of our Winter Classic Showcase will appear in-game on December 16. These teams were created by players and voted on by the community, and they fit perfectly into the spirit of building your own world.
Season 5 is on the way!
Season 5 also arrives on December 16, bringing new gear, challenges, rewards, and a fresh round of content to chase. It is a big month for Maximum Football, and we are excited for you to experience everything we have lined up.
Franchise Mode is a big step for this game, and it would not exist without your feedback, your patience, and your willingness to jump in with us. We are proud of where the game is today and even more excited about where it is headed. Thanks for being part of it, and have fun shaping your football universe.
