UPDATE #99

Fixed

  • Fixed an issue where the Gear would slow down in the air
  • Axel had trouble clinging to a huge cross-shaped building on the Tokyo map
  • Sometimes the energy was split if you used 2 grenade launchers
  • The game menu broke when the player accepted the invitation without starting the game
  • If you forcibly close the game (like alt+f4), a temporary penalty could be applied

Changed

  • Removed camera tilts when turning and moving robots
  • Now AI near will fire from the hip when it finds an enemy, rather than aiming and slowing itself down
  • Increased air control for all robots
  • Remaining damage that was not absorbed by armor now takes away health
  • Increased FOV adjustment range
  • Improved quality of visual effects

Balance change

  • Health is again different for all robots
  • Slightly increased the speed of all robots
  • Full rebalance of all weapons
  • Reduced the speed of projectiles for the Rocket Launcher, Railgun and Laser
  • Increased flamethrower range

Shooting rework

  • Shooting is now done directly from the camera when playing in first person
  • This allows you to have complete control over the projectile, especially if you are shooting ahead at the enemy
  • First person weapon placement has also been changed to better suit the new shooting mechanics
  • The new weapon placement is also useful when using large FOV values, since the weapon now does not block visibility to the sides
  • The healing beam also deals damage only in the center of the screen, “sticking” to surfaces has been removed
  • The robot and weapon states have been returned to the screen interface when playing in first person

Weapon overclocking

  • Overclocking has replaced weapon upgrades
  • With overclocking you can change any weapon characteristics
  • Overcharges have also been disabled and are awaiting immediate processing
  • For all current upgrades, you will receive botcoins back to your game balance

Energy system rework

  • Weapons now use overheat mechanics instead of energy consumption
  • This means that now if a weapon is allowed to completely overheat, it will not be possible to use it until it cools down completely

Lobby system rework

  • A new method for connecting friends to games minimizes the possibility of disconnection
  • The time required to start the game has been reduced, as the connection speed has also been accelerated
