  • Clutch Tackle System: Players dive tackle at different angles after catches, in the end zone and when a QB is winding up for a pass.
  • In-season practice mode now is your team vs itself in your home stadium.
  • Added more gameplay footage to background video
  • Under the hood optimizations in CPU and GPU across the board.

  • Better blocking with blockers that seal the edges.

Known Issues:

  • AI misses too many FGs.
  • AI players can’t get up after plays.
  • Co-op issues like both possessing the QB at the same time and Player 2 needing to press A to snap even though he’s not the QB.
  • DB arms don’t reach out for ball sometimes in pass coverage.
  • Playbook line renderers on field have wrong points and rotations sometimes.
  • Punter doesn’t transition to run after punt animation
  • IK catching physics issues (edge case)
  • Defenders shouldn’t strafe when taking 45 degree pursuit angle
  • Catching is harder. Requires concentration. Needs a “vacuum” feature where it slowly pulls you into the correct catch point while also maintaining player control, kind of like aim assist.
  • Punts land too far downfield, farther than throw target reticle.
  • Run with ball animation isn’t used sometimes for ballcarrier when it should be, creating a fumble vulnerability by not tucking.
