Hi everyone, I am Tholus. has been with you for more than a month. Thanks for all your support! At the same time, I also received a lot of valuable feedback and suggestions from the discord channel and the forum, which is exactly what I need in the EA stage! I will report to the commanders to explain the main content of the next major version of Reshaping Mars:
Summary
- Make all operations more macro, reducing the current mouse-consuming experience.
- Added a new playable force: Locke Conglomerate.
Detailed description
Leader
In the next update, you can delegate many complicated things to leaders, and they will manage their own jurisdictions well.
And you, as the highest commander, only need to make the most decisions on the most important things.
Pop-ups
There will no longer be frequent pop-ups to interfere with the construction of your Mars base.
Those less important things will be stored in the corner of the screen. Only those things you really need to care about will give you a pop-up window.
Locke Conglomerate
New Story
You will experience a period on earth with Martin of Locke Conglomerate... well, maybe not that unforgettable time.
New Playable Force
Locke Conglomerate has completely different construction, unit, and operational characteristics. You can choose to control the Locke Conglomerate and show its grand plans on Mars!
Performance optimization
Even if you are a construction fanatics, refers to players who are crazy about expanding their base by constructing buildings and decorations , you can ensure that the frame rate is in a playable state when the entire map is built in the later stage. Hmm... at least my computer five or six years ago can have more than 30 frames.
In addition, the next version will also optimize the response speed of the camera when moving the camera in the case of a large number of buildings and units in the later stage. When the camera is moved quickly, it should...not feel like a card.
Custom shortcuts
Finally, the custom shortcut keys are arranged on the schedule. However, it can also be seen that compared to the above items, this feature does not seem to be that attractive, at best it is a small optimization. Therefore, it was ranked last (escape...)
Summarize
The above is the main update of the next major version. I'm currently working hard to make it. Due to the large amount of content, the specific release time is still uncertain, but it'll be coming out soon, within 1-2 months, after all, the project folders have been built!
Finally, thanks again for your support for , and welcome to discuss the great cause of Mars in the forum and Discord. is becoming better because of you!
