Greetings, innkeepers!
The new update of Travellers Rest is here. Venture into the depths of Rilia, master the arcane arts and discover many new ways of making your tavern thrive.
The Hollow
Hidden beneath the capital lies The Hollow, a dark suburb where smuggling, shady deals and score-settling are business as usual.
Explore its streets, meet strange characters and visit shops where you can obtain new decor items and recipes. But tread carefully... outsiders aren't always welcome.
Master the Magic Arts
Unlock new spells, imbue your grimoires with them and use them to maximise your tavern's profits. Run faster, accelerate your crops' growth, summon storms...
As your sorcery level increases, you'll unlock new spells that will help ease your tavern management.
Arcane Cuisine and Reputation
Magic has also arrived in your kitchens. In the mine, find new resources and ingredients with which to prepare special dishes and drinks. Increase your new reputation serving unique dishes and obtain all the new themed items!
New Trends and Price Adjustment
This update adds new features like Daily Stats, changes to Trends, and Price Adjustment.
Now you can lower or raise prices of each menu item to gain reputation or increase your profits. But remember: greed has a cost. If your prices are too high, fewer people will come to your tavern!
Content to come
There are some aspects we've had to delay, although they're on our roadmap:
Add the last three levels of the mine (7, 8 and 9) with their biome (Volcano) and changing the biome (Swamp) of levels (4, 5 and 6).
Add a new aesthetic (Arcane) for customers that order themed recipes.
The next update will focus on the next chapter of the main story as well as a few other surprises, so we'll try to implement these visual changes when we can.
