Hello everyone, welcome to this week's progress report.
Level:
This week, we continued our efforts to implement additional unique quest locations, as well as a new tutorial area located on the Wildfire ship. We also updated our tools based on feedback from our Level Artists, with the goal of speeding up our set dressing process. On the 3D side of things, we implemented the next batch of meshes, including new foliage assets and additional props for Yterra.

Code:
This week, we finished setting up the nav mesh parameters. We also implemented a fail-safe mechanic that forces NPCs back on the nav mesh if they end up off of it.
On the sandbox side, a few small additions have been made:
The speech bubble prop now has an additional value to let the text component glow.
In the character customizer, the toggle to always use the sex version of the clothes has been replaced with a dropdown that additionally has the option to always use the non-sex version of the clothes, too.
A new triangle prop was also added that allows the movement of each corner vertex individually, either using other props as guides or by using direct relative position values. You have the option to manually change the normals and UVs of each of these vertices, as well.
Character:
The work on the Slugroth caravan gear is continuing, and we have added another set of simple modern summery outfits for various characters. The last remaining weapon models are also making good progress.

Animations:
On the animation side, we have been planning our next motion capture shoot to record the last remaining cutscenes needed for the story. We have also been working on making the last set of unique routine animations needed for certain quests.
Design:
In the quest department, the Maya x Rawn quest has been functionally implemented. This quest revolves around the marital issues between the newly-turned wolf Kerpali Rawn and his human wife Janara, that had already been hinted at in Chapter 01. As Maya, you will be able to help Rawn come to grips with his new form and possibly fix things between the two - or not, depending on your choices. We are also almost done with the implementation of the Sexbot questline which adds about an hour of gameplay. For the game start, we have been finalizing all dialogues for the new tutorial / intro section.
Another big task for us is to design new mini quests and points of interest that we will distribute to fill gaps in the open world space.
Thank you for all your continued support,
-Wild Life Team
