As Dodonovels approaches its second anniversary, we wanted to share an important update about the future of our studio.
We originally stepped in to carry on the legacy of Bruni Multimedia after the studio closed due to personal and financial issues. Since then, we’ve worked hard to restore trust and improve existing projects.
However, the visual novel scene has evolved faster than our small team could reasonably keep up with. We attempted to update General Practitioner 2, Star Alliance, and several unreleased projects, but results were never up to the quality we believe you deserve.
What’s happening?
Starting January 2026, all titles originally published under Bruni Multimedia will be removed from Steam.
If you already own them, nothing changes—you keep your games.
The Holiday Sale will be the last chance to purchase them.
This isn’t a goodbye to our past, but a necessary step to move forward.
What’s next for Dodonovels?
We’re shifting focus to what we do best: storytelling.
Not flashy engines.
Not tech arms races.
Just compelling narrative experiences.
Expect immersive, choice-driven stories packed with:
moral decisions and branching paths
complex characters and long-form plots
a cozy, grounded tone
mature and sensual themes when they serve the narrative
Introducing our new project: Genesis Reborn (working title)
A new series of text-based narrative games featuring:
minimal, elegant visuals
high-quality original soundtrack
deep narrative structure with hours of content
spiritual successor vibes to the stories that made you fall in love with the original studio
The first pre-alpha image is already available, and more updates will roll out in the coming weeks.
This marks a fresh beginning for Dodonovels—and the kind of storytelling we want to be known for.

Fixed an issue duplicating the point value assigned after Sara's 2nd exam
The game will no longer address Kiko as Elisa during her story
Fixed an issue which prevented to play the 5th day in Japan with Kiko during her loyalty trip
Fixed an issue which prevented Claudia to visit the player if she was already hired at St. Mary's

General Practitioner update 1.15 is out today, and it's basically a pre-patch for the release of Emergency Procedures DLC, which will be on November 15th, 2021!
Many bugs have been fixed and new music, images and improvements have been made even for the base game!
If you haven't already, please add the Emergency Procedures DLC to your Steam wishlist, as it will help us a lot!
Also, if you want to support our projects, please remind that the FULL GAME (including the DLC) will be available starting today on Patreon for our 20$ subscribers. The game is exactly the same as you can play on Steam, it's just already available as a preview.

Added a new Main Menu image preparing for Emergency Procedures DLC
It is now harder to miss Sam's examination if you skipped over the day he should arrive at the clinic
Nancy's examination won't trigger if you haven't hired Eva Kaplan, as it was intended
Felicity's examination won't trigger if you haven't hired Max Poulsen, as it was intended
You can now ask Rita to marry you only if you haven't asked Erika before
