Do your New Year Resolutions include sending a rocket with your name on it into space? Well then, now is a great time to get back to Space Company Simulator! The new patch concentrates on fixing bugs reported by the community.

Changelog:

Fixed a bug where the “Space Program Mars'' building wasn’t necessary to finish the game. What, did you really think it was that easy?
Fixed a bug where players could enter the Mission Control Center while the administration window was open.
Astronauts now have a unique picture.
Events from the lower calendar now disappear while a player skips turns. Like they should. Let’s keep the calendar in order.
Fixed the placeholder amounts in Weekly Revenue and Weekly Installments in Loans.
Decision emails now make you gain or lose money. Do you feel the pressure of being a CEO yet?
Full UI elements added to the Test Center.
Fixed the text under Company Motto in the main menu.
Buying the perks for Small Rocket “Dog-9”, Small Rocket “Hound-7”, or Medium Rocket “Space Explorer” MR-1 now unlocks the blueprints correctly. Try it!
Fixed a bug where the particle system wouldn’t turn off after a rocket’s launch.
Added missing descriptions of construction conditions to the Building map.
The game no longer freezes when players access the Assembly Room.
UI symbols of the settings menu now appear after players change the language to Polish.
Fixed the marking of the Small Launcher building.
There are no longer visual graphical artifacts on the building mode icon.

We’ve got another update for you that reworks the rocket construction UI design and tutorial. But don’t worry, we’ve been listening to your feedback and have given attention to bug fixes and various text improvements as well. Please read the whole changelog for more details!

Tutorial rework
Minor balance changes
Fixed an issue where a player’s company name would instead be an empty space
Fixed an issue that allowed a player to enter text in the "Company Funds" tab when in Finance >> "Company Budget"
Fixed an issue where a rocket name could only be an empty space
Fixed an issue in Step in Production >>Summary in Sandbox Assembly where a player could only enter a name using a space
Fixed an issue where the 'Delete all saves' button changed its description to 'Music volume' after changing languages
Fixed an issue where the game’s UI would be mostly broken after changing languages
Increased scrolling speed in the summary report
Fixed the names of a few Settings that were not correct in terms of grammar, consistency, and usability
Increased scrolling speed in the resolution settings

CEOs! We know you’re busy people, so many logistics, construction, and launches to oversee—so we don’t want to take up too much of your time. We hope you’ve been enjoying the new update and the new UI it introduced. We just wanted to add some additional fixes and solve an issue t

We know you’re busy people, so many logistics, construction, and launches to oversee—so we don’t want to take up too much of your time.
We hope you’ve been enjoying the new update and the new UI it introduced. We just wanted to add some additional fixes and solve an issue that resulted in the game crashing. After downloading this patch, you should be cleared for launch!
Changes:
Fixed the menu and windows of buildings so they don’t overlap event icons on the timeline
Fixed the progress bar so that it is within UI bounds
Corrected the "Choose" button’s location in the departments' perk trees
Fixed graphical artifacts so their upgrade shader isn’t too bright
Fixed the "Building map" button so that it disappears after opening the Building map
Fixed the Production Department section names disappearing when entering the Depot or Assembly Room and going back
Fixed emails so that the decision box is not cut off
Fixed the menu so that users cannot drag contracts outside of it
Fixed the title of the rocket program building so that it wasn’t shifted out of bounds of the title area
Fixed action buttons in emails so they have a disabling state instead of a hovering one
Fixed lock icons so that they appear during a first entrance into any department

We’re back with a new update and a sale! Get Space Company Simulator before November 12 and reach the stars with a 30% discount to lighten your load!
The new update features major some upgrades to overall performance, many bug fixes including the Cash Overflow bug, and a completely redesigned UI! A full list of changes can be found below.
We know it’s been a while, so we would like to thank you for your patience while we were working on this update and hope that you’ll enjoy all the improvements.

Implemented transition of render from HDRP (High Definition Render Pipeline) to URP (Universal Render Pipeline) in the Unity Engine
Fixed variable overflow (including cash overflow)
Reconfigured particle systems and shaders for URP in Rocket Launch

Improved post processing settings in the space environment of the Solar system

We're still working on changes to make Space Company Simulator top of the line. In this patch, we focused mainly on the aspects of rocket assembly, but we’ve also taken care of many other issues. Here’s the full list of changes:
Changelog
🔧 ASSEMBLY:
Fixed the issue with the second Engine slot disappearing
Fixed the issue with the Rocket Tank slot being active when placing Struts
Component slots are no longer covered by the Inventory tab
Fixed the issue with exceeding the allowed threshold of components which distorted other values in the Technical Overview tab
Fixed the incorrect display of component size information (S / M / L) which prevented components from being placed in corresponding slots
Sandbox Assembly: Thumbnail preview at rocket startup updates correctly
Fixed the issue with disappearing component slot names
Fixed the issue with inability to produce more components in a single turn after already commissioning the production of a certain component
Fixed the issue with “Launch the rocket” and “Abort” buttons appearing in the Assembly after pressing certain keys
Improved component grouping in the Inventory
⚙ SETTINGS:
Fixed the issue with the game switching to Windowed mode after selecting any game mode
Fixed the issue with incorrect save data in Save & Load panels
Fixed the issue with the save button constantly remaining active in the graphic settings
Fixed the issue with settings not refreshing despite the changes
Fixed the issue whereby Windowed mode would activate when opening the Settings menu
📈 PERKS:
Fixed the issue with the value of Perk points gain and money loss not updating after skipping turns or reloading the game
Fixed the issue with the Second Child and Apple of My Eye Perks which prevented players from buying more Perks
Fixed the issue with Perk Trees scrolling across various departments
🏢 BUILDINGS:
Fixed the issue with the marketing building texture not refreshing after closing the PR panel
Fixed the issue with exclamation marks not appearing when there’s a new building that can be constructed
Lights in buildings no longer work during daytime
Fixed the issue whereby players had to click RMB to be able to select buildings after loading the game from the in-game menu
The Department management menu can no longer be opened while in the Building mode
Fixed the Building Process information updates in the Buildings Map
Fixed the issue with buildings not changing their status after clicking the ”Build” button on consecutive game launches
📌 OTHER:
Fixed the bug displaying the wrong background (Space Atlas) when entering the Assembly from Mission Control
Fixed the issue with planets' details disappearing when zooming too close in the Mission Control window
Fixed the issue with the Department Efficiency not refreshing correctly
Corrected one of the Investor’s Best Player Bonus information
Hid notifications from the Rocket Launch window
Fixed the issue with email notifications overlapping with the rocket launch screen
Corrected the Polish translation
Status bar now updates correctly
Fixed the issue with positive traits displaying in red

It’s been a while, but Space Company Simulator is back with new fixes and improvements. There are no limits in space!

Modified UI
Added indicators above buildings to mark new events
The progress of constructing the Astronaut Complex and space program: Moon can now be viewed from the map level
Improved the “close” button in Mission Control to make it easier to spot
Fixed the FT-1 Component Test mission requirements
Fixed the Curiosity perk (the income is now correctly counted every turn)
Fixed the issue whereby the rocket speed would cap at 8000km/h
Fixed the issue with rocket launch SFX playing outside of the launch animation
Fixed the issue with some rockets disappearing after skipping turns
Fixed the university course which allows you to develop two skills simultaneously
Contract deadlines no longer reset on accepting
Fixed the issue with Scholarships Perk not adding 5% of the funds
Assembly:
Fixed the issue with component slot names disappearing after being pulled from the rocket

Steam Trading Cards are now available in Space Company Simulator! You can get them by playing the game and trading with other users on the Community Market. Collect the full set to craft a one-of-a-kind badge that you can display on your Steam profile. Each badge will earn you random drops of emoticons and backgrounds.
You can now step up your Steam profile with:
Regular badge (5 levels)
Foil badge (1 level)
7 profile backgrounds
10 emoticons
Have a great time playing and earning your badge!
How to collect Steam Trading Cards
Play Space Company Simulator to get cards. Up to half the card set is dropped through game play. You can get the rest of the set by trading with other players on the Community Market.
How to craft a badge
Once you’ve collected a full set of cards you can craft them into a game badge. Badges can be crafted by accessing the Badges tab on your Steam profile. There are 5 levels of a regular badge to craft and one foil badge.
During badge crafting you'll receive random rewards, such as emoticons and backgrounds.

We know it’s been a while, but a fresh Space Company Simulator update is here with improvements and changes that will make your space missions go more smoothly.
The update contains an optimization upgrade, brand new contracts, and plenty of fixes. Check out the detailed changelog below!
📢 Features:
Added 7 new contracts
Added summaries of a contract’s objectives in a single sentence
Added a new round of optimizations, which should significantly increase frame rates
⚙ Changes:
Added more emails
Added the possibility to turn the Day/Night Mode off in the Settings, which can prevent some bugs related to it from appearing
Improved notification UX (user experience)
Improved University UX
Added quality of life improvements to GUI (game’s user interface)
Changed profits and penalties for completing contracts
Modified employee random leveling system (now based on the selected difficulty level)
Changed the University’s learning time from days to turns
Improved employee skills descriptions
Removed the possibility to launch the departments menu from Mission Control window
Removed the possibility to launch the Conference Center menu with hotkey
Improved the University translations
Removed the button which restarted the game after losing the game
The effects of locked astronaut and manager traits are no longer visible

Improved the positioning of building markups so that they no longer block the view of other buildings
The second engine can now be placed in a rocket correctly
A notification now correctly appears in the Building mode when there’s a new building available to be built

Improved the font size—it now works well with bigger numbers
Fixed an issue with email content not fitting the window
Fixed an issue with text missing in contracts and emails
Fixed various localization issues
Fixed the bug with inability to add more astronauts to manned missions if one of them quit
Fixed the bug whereby the same astronaut could be sent on two manned missions at the same time
Fixed the issue with windows not closing
Fixed the camera view for Medium and Heavy rockets
Improved the achievement descriptions and their calculation method
Scrolling emails no longer scrolls the atlas of planets
Fixed worker morale (max 100)
Fixed the save window—it is now impossible to save the game without a name
Workers can no longer be sent to train the skill they already maxed out
It is now impossible to continue the game after going bankrupt
Removed the button for planning flights in missions not involving flights
Fixed the icon with the number of mails—a large quantity of emails is now displayed correctly

Fixed an issue with incorrect calculation of unlocked and locked lobbyists
Fixed an issue with an incorrect calculation of the amount of components that are ready to be constructed
Fixed an issue whereby the cost and turn counter of components that are required to be built would reset after constructing the maximum amount of components
Added a tooltip notifying that it is impossible to construct a component

Satellites
It is now possible to attach satellites to the rockets in the Assembly Room and Sandbox Assembly. Take on new contracts and launch satellites into the orbit of one of the planets of our solar system. Deliver the satellite safely to the required position and cash in!
New satellite components include Small, Medium, and Heavy satellites. They are adjusted to different mission lengths.

Postponed the first e-mail event further in the gameplay
Modified the Perk System to make Players decide which Perks suit their strategy better (choosing one of the Perks will block another)

Removed some of the existing Perks, which had minimal impact on the gameplay
Changed the Perk cost icons—“DP” has been replaced with the department’s icon
Added new pieces of information about slots and components (S, M, and H for rockets) to improve readability
Made changes to the Components’ Testing System—from now on, there’s no possibility for the purchased Component to be fallible (all Tier 0 and Tier I components have 100% reliability). The chance that the Component will be broken is very low

Added various fixes to Summary Panels
Corrected the prestige loss system when firing employees
Added various fixes to the money collecting system for testing, component fixing, and rocket assembling
The game no longer gets minimized when switching to the second screen

The new Space Company Simulator update has been released on Steam. It introduces a brand new Sandbox Assembly, Historical Events, and multiple fixes! You can find more information about the new features and a detailed changelog below.
Sandbox Assembly
Running your own space company is not an easy job. Taking care of finances and planning can consume plenty of time. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have unlimited resources and just focus on assembling rockets?
With the new Sandbox Assembly, you can experiment with various rocket setups. Choose any of the available blueprints and buy any components you want. When price is no longer an issue, you can get components of the highest rarity without consulting your financial advisors. With unlimited resources, you can launch an unlimited number of rockets!
You can enter this mode from the main menu (“Sandbox Assembly”). You will be directed straight to the assembly.
Historical Events
Space exploration events are among the most important in humankind’s history. We want to appreciate and celebrate them, so we added the Historical Events feature which introduces crucial milestones of space exploration. Special tooltips are now displayed after hovering over the star icon on the top navigation panel. The events do not affect the gameplay but serve as great reminders that you and your company can accomplish great things too.

Added progress bar to the components that are being tested
Added summary window to each department - it's a work-in-progress feature, so we could really use your feedback

Implemented a system of restoring contracts - some of the contracts will reappear periodically
Testing and fixing prices are now displayed in a different format: M stands for a million and K stands for a thousand
🔧 Fixes:
Fixed the black screen issue - it should no longer occur
Fixed accepting missions in the mission panel
Fixed an issue with Standardized Testing (production perk)
Fixed various localization issues
Fixed an issue with workers' morale increased 10 times
Fixed an issue with a perk, which decreased component testing time
Fixed an issue causing upgradeable buildings to be invisible
Fixed an issue stopping rocket production from being synced with the one displayed in the Assembly
