🧑‍🌾NEW MAP: FARM 🧑‍🌾
Get ready for the Farm 🧑‍🌾, our brand-new map set on a sprawling rural homestead. Whether you're haunting the creaky old barn or hunting through the farmhouse, this map offers fresh tactical twists for both Ghosts and Hunters.
The Barn
The barn used to echo with the sounds of daily chores—now it stands silent, thick with dust and the scent of old hay. Look closely and you’ll find hiding spots tucked between leaning stacks and forgotten equipment.
The Farm House
The old house sits in eerie stillness, its warmth long since drained away. Floorboards groan underfoot, and shattered windows whisper secrets. Room after room offers cover—but not comfort.
The Storage Building
What was once a simple tool shed has taken on a darker purpose. The air feels heavier near the back, where the Ghost Shrine waits. Between crates and rusted tools, something watches.

Apparition duration increased from 15 seconds to 20 seconds
Apparition will now randomly make “haunt” sounds
Trickster cooldown lowered from 5 seconds to 4 seconds
Trickster now will randomly jump while walking to better simulate player movement

Major thanks to all players who have provided feedback and given suggestions! We have been listening, and have prepared quite a few balance related changes for this update!

Increased the number of health orbs available at Midnight, from 4 to 8
Increased the health Ghosts re-spawn with at Midnight, 75 if not vacuumed, 50 if vacuumed
Harpoon Bazooka shots now break Deflectors bubble
Hallucinate now plays more “game specific” sounds, such as Death Grip, Corruption, etc
Increased Riot Shield damage to props and Ghosts
Conjurer will try to find a better sized prop to spawn if there isn’t enough room to spawn one
Moved spawn location of Conjurer props closer to the ground to prevent the props from falling over
Midnight Ghosts can now break C4 with one swipe, previously this took two
Midnight Ghosts can now break Medkits with one swipe, previously this took two
Slightly increased the distance Ghosts need to move before Ectoplasm starts to drop
This is to help prevent Ghosts from only slightly moving back and forth to drop Ecto
Lowered projectile audio volume for both Project X and Frostbite
Phantom duration no longer decreases with Ghost movement
Slightly decreased Chill Haunt duration
Slightly decreased Chill Haunt movement speed reduction
Decreased cooldown for Doppelganger if it fails to activate due to available space
Increased Heavyweight damage reduction from 25% to 30%
Decreased Berserk movement speed to 20%, down from 30%
Reduced Quickcharge charge time, meaning this is slower to charge up than before
Slightly increased Spectral Cannon damage and splash damage radius
Slightly increased Sledgehammer damage against Ghosts (but not props)
Slightly decrease the number of shots needed to freeze large props with Frostbite
Tweaked Miasma to now tick twice as fast but for half the damage, overall damage is the same, but now more likely to hit Hunters running at full speed
Murder Doll/Witch no longer gets free "Shatterproof" - this prop will never break when hitting a Hunter, but will break like normal otherwise
Medium-sized props are now 20% more resilient against breaking on impact, requires 20% more velocity on impact to break as compared to small props
Increased health on bouncing ball props

Spawn a copy of your *current* prop! Ever wanted another Knight? What if your friend also wants to be the T-Rex head? Just equip copycat, and spawn another one! Larger items have a longer cooldown, but can be sped up using the Ghostly Focus perk.
👟 NEW GHOST PERK: ECTO-RUSH👟
The higher your ectoplasm buildup, the higher your movement speed! We have found this is *fantastic* for quickly getting away after being found by those pesky Hunters! This also affects ghost form, doppelganger, and the spirit ability by giving them a base movement speed increase (as they always have the highest ectoplasm by default).
🏃 NEW HUNTER PERK: BERSERK🏃
30% Damage boost AND 30% movement speed buff when you are less than 50% health! Go Berserk running away at Midnight! High risk, but high reward.

It’s been a long and exciting road as we ramp up to this full release!
Here’s a rundown of what has changed for our 1.0 release:
✨ALL 10 MAPS FULLY REVAMPED✨
We've been tirelessly working behind the scenes, overhauling all the maps to ensure they reach their absolute best versions! Our objectives with these changes were:

Large layout changes on most maps

Less reliance on ladders for verticality on maps like Ghost Ship or Asylum
Improved map flow for getting around the map easier
Add more line of sight breaks for escapes
By breaking up line of sight, Ghosts can get away from Hunters easier by having more walls/corners to hide behind
Add more hiding spots and have less dead ends

The redesigns of most of the maps allowed us to rethink a lot of the hiding spots for Ghosts as well, which has led to many more exciting “run-away” moments
We also ensured that every spot on every map has multiple ways to escape, always giving the Ghost a chance to get away from those relentless Hunters 😉
Improved lighting and contrast

During Early Access, most of our maps were very blue. With the new lighting pass, we have added warmth and contrast back to the maps, which also reduces a lot of the visual noise; allowing Ghosts to stand out even more 👻
🔫WEAPON SKINS🔫
We wanted another way for players to spend their hard earned Ghost Shards, and weapons skins seemed like the obvious choice! For 1.0 every weapon has at least 1 new skin that can be unlocked via Ghost Shards. Each weapon also has a ✨golden ✨ skin, which can only be unlocked by getting the Mastery achievement for that weapon!

Both the Hunter and Ghost bots have gotten a MAJOR upgrade! Their revamped AI will employ improved strategies and navigation - and will make for indispensable allies or formidable foes!
We wanted to make sure that if you just wanted to chill in a lobby with a couple of friends, that you could turn the bots on the fill out your teams, and feel good knowing that they will actually be able to play with you as Hunters or Ghosts.
👻NEW GHOST VISUALS👻
Our new and improved Ghost visuals enriches the appearance and aura of our spectral friends. From the default skin to the Krampus and everything in-between, our overhauled Ghost visuals are a significant upgrade.
Much like with the map changes, we felt the Ghost visuals were much too bright and blue, so we redid all of them to add even more visual clarity to your chosen spectral skin.
🛠️NEW HUNTER WEAPON VFX🛠️
Spectral Cannon, Project X, Ghostsmasher, Grenade, and more all received new and improved visual effects for improved clarity! The goal was to make the weapon effects warmer colors so they contrast better against all the Ghostly blue.

New Pathfinder screen to prevent motion sickness/improve clarity
Medkits now heal 40% of your max health, instead of a 100% heal previously
Medium sized props are now more likely to break when using charge up attack
Spirit should no longer rotate incorrectly when exiting spirit
Improved Riot Shield and Ghost Smasher Shield block success rate
Finalized localization in the 11 supported languages
Player titles now show on all of the end of game screens
Hunter gadgets (trap, camcorder, etc) no longer disappear when changing loadout at the generator if gadget is unchanged
