While playing MISTOVER, Corps Crews' death can be very discouraging and critical in the late game. Players experience a great sense of loss and the level of game difficulty rises significantly. We've received a lot of feedback and we are hoping to provide you options that will give positive Roguelike experiences with today's update.
'Memorialized Corps Crew' Added:
When a 2 or higher level of Corps Crew(s) dies during an expedition, a similar level of Corps Crew(s) appears in the Expedition Center to recruit.
'Memorialized Corps Crew'(s) can be hired at a slightly higher price than regular Corps Crew.
All battle skills are initialized and need to train skills again.
They only keep basic Jinxes.
'Smoke Bomb' Item Added:
'Smoke Bomb' can be purchased at any time through the 'Shop'. (If you load previous save game, please spend one week to see it.)
'Smoke Bomb' gives you 100% chance of escaping and unused 'Smoke Bomb' can be contaminated.
'Contaminated Smoke Bomb' give you 75% chance of escaping.

Please restart Steam to download the Update.

Onmyouji was born the son of a powerful demon father and a human princess, as a half-human and half-demon. He was able to survive because he could become a human with the magic of Yin and Yang. He got interested in Onmyodo that saved his life and became the best Onmyouji after years of studying.
One day, Onmyouji foresaw the inevitable doom of his mother nation. But no one wanted to believe his prophecy, and people belittled and shunned him. Eventually, his worst fears came true - a plague and earthquakes scourged his kingdom and all its people
He was the sole survivor of the disaster due to his inhumane robustness. In despair, he turned his back on the outer world and chose to live the life of a hermit.
He always looks bored because he knows the future ahead of him. The thought of not being able to change fate makes everything bothersome, and he even gets angry if someone bothers him.
He has lived most of his life in solitude. He tries to avoid conflicts with other people as much as possible and tries to act in the most efficient way which is less troublesome!

Characteristic: Specialized for giving various debuffs to the monsters!
Expedition Skill: Grim Reaper's Death Sensor can help you spot objects such as chests, keys, and debris, even in areas that you cannot see due to the thick mist.
She grants the soul of deceased safe passage to the afterlife, but she is a novice Grim Reaper. On her first day collecting souls, she lost the 'List of the Dead.' She cannot go back to the Netherworld until she finds it. She searches for it every day, but the list is nowhere to be found.
She wears a dark headscarf and it makes her look scary, but she is actually warm and tender. She can be timid, weepy, and very clumsy at times! It's not surprising that she falls down all the time, but she quickly gets back up and be an innocent girl.

Expedition Skill: His skill is called "Roar" and it rounds up monsters by exposing himself to them during a specific turn.
Werewolves were created by a wolf god Fenrir from his own blood and the body of a human.
As Fenrir acted up, he has been driven out of the heavenly paradise into the human world by the gods. So he decided to conquer the paradise by force and created the werewolves.
Werewolves drove the gods into a corner with their amazing powers, but ended up losing as Fenrir fell asleep cursed by the gods.
Before Fenrir fell asleep, he promised werewolves their paradise. Since then, they've been waiting for the awakening of their master.
The Werewolf doesn't fear death! He excels in battles with his superior physical abilities. Usually he is close to human form, but his appearance suddenly turns into a wolf when he attacks enemies.
Werewolf is very passionate about fighting and he often can be stupidly naive! You may feel scared because he doesn't talk much, but he is so innocent!

Witch was a normal girl when she was young, but suddenly she gets "Witch Syndrome" a disease that affects adolescent girls, granting them magic abilities. Only the strongest witches who contributed to defeating the evil will get "Stars" and remain their power. Those chosen ones will also be given tremendous honor and material benefits.
She met a great teacher and became one of the strongest. But she was shocked to see that even her brilliant teacher became a normal human once she grew up. So Witch began her journey to win "Stars" and keep her power forever.
She has star-shaped eyes due to her magical power! She is bursting with confidence and an energetic spirit, but also is thirsty for other's attention because of the memories being ostracized by society in her childhood when she couldn't properly control her power.

The Shadows Brotherhood, an extremist religious group in the desert, has kidnapped pagan children and turned them into assassins. One of the children was Shadow Blade. She was a royal family, but unfortunately, she was kidnapped, renovated, and raised to be a powerful assassin.
As the evil deed of the Shadow Brothers grew worse, they had collapsed under the attack of other forces, and Shadow Blade regained her freedom and became a mercenary.
She has been following on orders all her life, so she's not used to freedom yet and she tends to be obsessed with completing missions. She also wants to secure as much money and food as she can because she has lived in poverty.
Considering her line of work, it's not surprising that she doesn't talk much and rarely expresses herself. However, behind her cold face, she has a hidden weakness for cute trinkets and sweets.

I hope you all are enjoying our new DLC "Dr. Faust's Otherworldly Adventure"! Today, we want to know more about Sister who heals allies with mystical power!

Characteristic: A nun with the mystical power to heal wounded allies.
Expedition Skill: Sister's Bless accelerates the health recovery speed during your expedition.
Sister had been a common nun raised in a monastery since childhood, but one day she was in danger of dying and survived with the help of a strange voice.
Since that day, she had acquired special healing powers and started to believe that the voice in her head is God. She was excommunicated from the monastery after many problems, such as pursuing pleasure and deceiving others as the strange voice wished.
Nevertheless, she continued to cause problems and ended up being burned at the stake and called a witch. But when she was in flames, she smiled and disappeared without a trace.
She looks like a nice nun with a seemingly benevolent smile and voice, but in fact, she loves violence and pleasure! She also likes to deceive others. Are Sister's healing skills really based on pure good faith? Because it looks like she actually enjoys the pain.

Expedition Skill: Ronin's Flash allows you to move forward as long as the path is clear.
Ronin was appointed Captain of Samurai after defeating the notorious monster for his bold personality and outstanding swordsman skills.
Ronin gave the lord the Legendary Sword, which he obtained from the monster. But because the sword was a demon's sword, the lord returned the sword to Ronin and began to harbor suspicion against him.
The lord's suspicion about Ronin grew by the day and accused him of treason and executed his entire family and men. Outraged Ronin killed everyone in the city and came back to his senses. Since then, he has deeply reflected on himself and set out on his journey for redemption.
While Ronin may seem carefree at first glance, deep inside he is a devoted warrior. He uses Yoki Point(YP) which is demon power and he likes to lead the fight.

First and foremost, our favorite knight Paladin!
Paladin

Characteristic: She protects other party members safely with her defensive skills including Taunt, Guard, and Healing skills.
Expedition Skill: Paladin's Obstacle Breaker can create new paths by breaking any obstacles or treasures without losing health.
Paladin was originally a valiant knight from the monastery fighting against evil and heathen pagan.
One day, she was cursed by a foul trick of a demon and now stuck in the body of a small child. Even though she looks like a child, she still considers herself as a brave knight who defeated numerous enemies. So she always fights on the front lines carrying her huge shield.
She is kind of arrogant and hates to be treated as a child. That might be the reason she hates cute things including clothes.
She's been through tough battles and older in real life, sometimes she shows old manly characteristics.

The Difficulty Level which shows the approximate level of difficulty will be displayed in the upper left corner during your expeditions and battles.
Battle Improvements

We improved some corps crews' skills and monster formations to give you more interesting battle experiences.
Corps Crew skill improvements
Added useful effects on some skills that were relatively inefficient.
Monster Formation Improvements
Adjusted monster formations to make more fast-paced battles:
In the first dungeon "Misty Forest", monsters will no longer appear in the third column.
The chances of having more than two monsters on the third column have been reduced in all dungeons.
Adjusted some monster formations so that it's easier to use Cooperative Skills to attack multiple monsters.
Boss Monsters' Abnormal Statuses
Removed some boss monsters' resistance to certain abnormal statuses in order to increase the effectiveness of debuff/mesmerize skills, and to allow strategic approach to boss battles.

Although the Gameplay Settings are a bit different feature from Steam Workshop, please kindly understand that our goal is to provide the same gameplay experience in all platforms by adding the Gameplay Settings. We are bringing good news for you, additional update!
The main focus of the updates are "Gameplay Settings" and "Battle Improvements".
Gameplay Settings
We've had many balance tweaks since our initial release, but we wanted to give you the opportunities to make changes on your own. Why don't you edit MISTOVER as you like?
You can turn on or off specific gameplay options such as Doomsday Clock, Revealing map, and controlling all sorts of abnormal statuses/movement.
The "Difficulty Score" which shows approximate level of difficulty will be displayed in the upper left corner during your "Expeditions" and "Battles". (Even if you have same Difficulty Score, the difficulty can be differentiated based on your Difficulty level (Easy/Normal/Hard) and options you edited.)
Battle Improvements
We're planning to improve the monster formations and some corps crews' skills so that players can feel more strategic and fast-paced battles.
Monster formations
Sometimes there have been issue that in the early phase, monsters located in the third column are hard to hit thus leading to a bit tedious battle.
Therefore, we will fix so that monsters would not appear in the third column in the first dungeon, and also the chances of having monsters in the third column will be reduced in other dungeons.
Corps Crew skill improvements
Useful effects will be added to some skills that were relatively inefficient.
Example 1) Paladin's Provoke: a SPD increas buff will be added in order to give her an opportunity to act after provoking enemies.
Example 2) Ronin's Swallow Counter: The chance of being attacked will also increase when Damage Reflection is applied. So, more monsters can take damages.
We are hoping to make these changes by the second week of February! We hope you like this preview of upcoming updates and will be looking forward to your valuable feedback as well.
