This new update comes with some new features and fixes that will do the game more challenge and enjoyable.
UPDATE CONTENT:

[NEW] WEAPONS EFFECTS ARE BACK!! Each weapon has an effect that can be executed if its activation condition is accomplished, check weapons info at Forge to check its effect and the activation condition.
[NEW] NEW DECKS BASED ON CLASSES !! Unlock new classes decks to select when you start a new run. New PALADIN deck added in this update.
[NEW] LOOT LOGIC RE-DONE & RE-BALANCED! Now you can receive a bigger spectrum of cards in higher levels.
[NEW] NEW WEAPON HELLSPIKE ADDED! You unlock it when you unlock the PALADIN class deck.
[NEW] NEW PALADIN ACHIEVEMENT ADDED!

[FIXED] Ungolaint don't give loot after defeat it.
[FIXED] Issue selecting the center card in loot.
[FIXED] Some bugs
[FIXED] Game blocks fighting with Glatta if you don't have more cards to play.
[FIXED] When you complete the EA, your deck cards are added to the default one, starting with a lot of cards. Now it reset.

As I said, I am working hard to trying to release one update per month (more or less)
This new version comes with some interesting features to improve the future balancing of the game. Now the game includes a connection to a backend in order to get always the latest versions of the game data avoiding do a lot of steam updates only for balance.
Also, new environments have been added to improve the progression feeling and avoid repetitive backgrounds during long time periods.
UPDATE CONTENT:

From this version (0.82) an internet connection is recommended in order to synchronize game files at startup. If the internet is not available, you will continue playing with your latest downloaded local files.
Added a coupon/code system in the Main Menu, where you can redeem them and get rewards as resources, new armors, and more..., the codes will be available through RRSS, streams, events, ...
Added new environment VILLAGE before FOREST
Added new environment MOUNTAINS between FOREST and SWAMPS
Small UI fixes and improvements

[FIXED] When you forge pieces in new game or after die or leave adventure, the reward cards was not saving correctly and you lose them when you start the game.
[FIXED] Info box is drawn sometimes over libraries (combos, alchemies, etc..) in the loot.

As you know, and I said in my previous announcement, it´s being a really hard time for me between personal and works stuff, going slowly in the Deck Hunter development, and for that reason, I am not updating the game with the speed that I would like.
But finally, a new update is available with important changes in Forge and armors.
CHANGELOG v.08
** BIG CHANGE IN FORGE SECTION ***
Due the feedback received from the community about problems with the balancing on several armors in the Forge, and evaluating the amount of work for balance each new piece of armor in future, from now, the armors will have only an aesthetic function in the game, but each time that you forge a new piece, you will receive a card of your current level as reward.
At the same time, the Forge has been COMPLETELY RE-DONE from scratch, making it much better visually and in terms of funcionality.
UPDATE CONTENT:

[NEW] Forge completely redesigned.
[NEW] Forge has been added to Main Menu too, in order you can set your armor without entering the map.
[NEW] Armors pieces now have only aesthetic function.
[NEW] Each time you forge a new piece you will receive a card of your current level (you can skip or pick it)
[NEW] Added new armor SCORPION in two variants (SILVER and BLACK/GOLD)
[NEW] Added 4 new Achievements to unlock
[CHANGE] Cards in libraries now are grouped by same name too (all strikes together, defenses together, etc..)
[CHANGE] Deck messages when you lose or add a card has double amount of time in screen in order to read it better.
[CHANGE] Camera in map has been moved higher for a better view of the map cells.
[CHANGE] Update card limit in combat is now of 10 either 20.
[FIXED] Bug in tutorial you can not exit/resume if you open settings/options during tutorial combat.
[FIXED] Discard Well went back to page 1 after remove any card.
[FIXED] Draw cards loops made you can have more than 10 cards on hand. Max cards in hand are 10.
[FIXED] IMMUNE info box of some enemies repeat same magic name.

We have a new Update :)
This update has, basically, an important change in the way to play Deck Hunter.
After receiving your valuable feedback about the fact that losing your cards after finishing the Forest is very frustrating, we've finally decided that now, You are going to keep your deck after finish the Forest. This change will apply to future zones.
This change has the following consequences:

The progression between zones (Forest, Swamps,...) is lineal now. So, if you defeat Forest you automatically play Swamps. You can't choose the zone anymore.
We increase (a little) the difficulty in the Swamps. You'll arrive at the Swamps with a powerful deck, so you need a good challenge :)
Now the game has the same design as other roguelikes. It means you need to go forward winning combats until the end of the game.
If you die = You lose your cards and your progress on the map. You win your XP.
Start a new game = You start a new adventure from the first level of the Forest with the default basic deck.
Leave adventure = You lose your 30% of resources, XP, and map progression.
Surrender option removed. You can only "Leave adventure" from the main menu.

A quick update before the Steam Summer Sale ends.
1. New UI for the Settings menu.
2. New Settings options: Disable camera shakes
3. New Settings option: Enable mouse on the map navigation
4. Resources balancing: Now is cheaper to forge pieces of armor.
5. The minimum of cards in your deck is 8 now (20 before). It means you can skip the cards pick from the beginning. Of course, if you have 7 cards or less to pick a card after combat will be mandatory.
6. Some English text fixes.

1. Now you can disable the "Player Turn" and "Enemy Turn" messages in combat. You can activate this option on the main menu settings and the combat settings.
2. New "next turn" button.
3. Access Alchemy and Combo books faster.
4. New UI for Cards, Alchemy, and Combos books.
5.English texts improvement in the tutorial, thanks to the member of the community ChaoticFear19 !!

We're back with a new update. This update has some important features, but the most significant is the new flow of the cards. Now, you can play the cards faster and the game feel has been improved. We hope you enjoy the game with this new update.

New flow of the cards.
New Cards Pick (Rebalanced).
Updated cards now have combos (36 New Combos).
No more Negative Combos.
+18 new cards.
Balancing: Cursed Cards, Boss Cards, Enemies, and Mechanics.

I’m very happy to share this moment with you. It has been a long time since I decided to redo the enemy AI and, as a consequence, the most important parts of the game. It has not been easy to achieve this renewed version of Deck Hunter, but I committed with you, the community of Deck Hunter. Anyway, all the way through is past and, now it’s time to enjoy the game.

Talking about the Major Update, there are some important points that you must keep in mind:

It is highly recommended to reset your profile once you update the game. It helps a lot to avoid save file issues. Of course, you’ll lose all your progress in the old version, but believe me, it’s worth it!
The new enemy AI has created a new mechanics system. Every enemy is different and its behavior can change depending on its mates. A tip, face the combats as a “puzzle” that must be solved.
The game continues on Early Acces, so I’m going to add new content with more frequency, this time.
I have planned the following updates but, as usual, I would like to count on your feedback, proposals, and ideas.
Apart from your feedback, you can support the game with reviews (if you didn’t do it), recommending the game to your friends (now is 20% off) and following the Deck Hunter account on Twitter.

As you know L_Draven is very busy with the major update, so I’ve decided to help him with the communication of the game. Of course, I don’t leave my work as a hunter inside the game, you know, looking for Glatta and these kinds of stuff.
As you know, we’re living an exceptional worldwide situation with COVID19, but it doesn’t affect to Deck Hunter project. Anyway, I hope all of you are well and be safe at home, enjoying videogames. We’re fine too.
The major update is coming, for sure before May, but we don’t have a date yet. Don’t worry, you will be the first to know it. Talking about the features of this major update, let me share with you the most relevant.

Completely redesigned enemy AI
The Swamps (new zone)
141 new cards
New types of cards (Boss, Fusion, Wish,...)
New mechanics
Art improvements
A lot of new enemies (some of them are hidden)
New bosses
Some hateful bosses
To summarize, this major update is more a “New Deck Hunter” than a list of improvements. I pretty sure that the wait will be worth it and, you will enjoy the game. To relieve the waiting, here you have some screenshots of the new version.
