Thank you all for your continued support of Angel Wings. This patch brings the long-awaited Skip feature to the game. Special thanks to everyone who helped us by testing the Beta branch!
How Does Skip Mode Work?
Skip Mode can be activated from the menu bar or by pressing the K key on your keyboard. This is a toggle on/off feature that will automatically skip any text you have previously seen starting from today. Anything seen before today will not be in the log file.
The only exception in this case is when a character is met on Day 1 vs. Day 2 - even though these are similar, the game treats them as completely different occurrences.
To disable Skip mode, just press K again.
Help! My Saves Don't Work!
As mentioned in a previous update post, Patch 1.1 causes previous saves to be invalidated. This is due to altering the story file, which we cannot do without breaking old saves. However, if you'd like to continue your pre-1.1 playthrough, you can do so on the Legacy Branch.
Navigate to Angel Wings in your Steam library and right click > Properties:
Once the Properties Menu is opened, select the Betas option on the sidebar, and select "legacy" in the dropdown menu.
Once Steam is finished updating, you are officially on the Legacy branch! Don't forget to switch back once you're done!

New Features

Skip Mode has been added to game.
Cloud Saves are now enabled.
Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue in Love storylines where choosing Hyedong at the hotel gala would act as if the player chose Jei.
Jihyun will no longer appear on the beach if the player has not met her.
Fixed an issue where the game would crash if attempting to open the History window when no text was present.
Miscellaneous

The producers of Hot Take have remembered how to do math. They will also no longer advertise events that have already occurred.

It's our goal to provide the best experience we can with our small dev team, and we hope today's changes will be a step in the right direction. We've included some of the previous hotfix notes here as well.
Patch 1.0.2 Notes
Balance Changes

The ??? Good End should now be easier to achieve in Route Selection.
Bug Fixes

Resolution options are now capped to a user's maximum screen resolution.
Fixed an issue where the music did not play in Hyedong's Medium End.
Adjusted the pacing of Hyedong's Medium End to align more closely with the Good End.
Encountering a Bad End should now correctly unlock the corresponding route in the Extras menu.
Fixed an issue where deleting multiple saves in the menu could disable the scroll bar.
Fixed a number of occurrences where a character would be mentioned despite not being present in the playthrough.
Fixed an issue where the final line would occur twice in Chaeng's Good End.
Miscellaneous

In order to save electricity, Kei has turned off the kitchen TV during the day.
The Music Teacher now goes by another alias to preserve her identity.
Many of you have asked about a Skip button, and rest assured we are working on it! As mentioned in previous community threads, this function does not come without caveats, so we are taking great care in deciding when to release it.

The first week of the Angel Wings launch has been a joy so far, and we've been left speechless by all the support! On a personal level, I've been absolutely touched by all the kind words and comments everyone has left for us.
We've also heard your feedback loud and clear, and while today's patch doesn't hit everything we'd like to yet, we hope it will make your experience a little more fun.
Patch 1.0.1 Notes
Balance Changes

Yujeong Good End requirements have been lowered.
Chaeng Medium End requirements have been lowered. This means players should encounter the Bad End less often.
Bug Fixes

Changed the default resolution of the game client to 1280x720. This should alleviate scaling issues on smaller screens such as laptops.
Fixed an issue where the end credits would repeat multiple times.
Fixed a bug where clicking the Resume button would occasionally crash the game.
Fixed a potential crash with certain Intel GPUs. This should solve the issue where players could not start the game.
Fixed a rare visual glitch with certain Outfit cards.
Fixed a bug in Nuri's route where the player was occasionally referred to by the incorrect pronoun.
Miscellaneous

Removed "Drift Queen" from the requirements for the achievement "Vintage".
Increased visibility of the skip dialogue in end credits.
The "-windowed" command in Steam options will now start the game in windowed mode.
The "-safemode" command in Steam options will now reset your settings to default.
This is only a small portion of the changes we have planned for Angel Wings, but we hope that these changes will improve your gameplay experience. Again, we're thankful to everyone who has taken the time to play the game and we hope you've enjoyed your time in New Elvis City so far!
