When? 7th-14nd April 2023 (inclusive)
Just like the Trick or Treat event at Halloween, this event modifies Daily Challenge mode for a limited time. As usual, you'll only get one chance to play the Daily Challenge each day so give it your best shot!
🦖 How the Egg Hunt challenge works:

All Gems are replaced with hidden Snaptor Eggs.
These eggs are invisible at first, but will appear when your players are nearby.
Eggs are worth 100 points each, but are more plentiful than Gems.
Collecting an Egg will fully replenish a player's Stamina.
But be warned: Snaptor Eggs will hatch after 3 turns when revealed, so collect them quickly!
🏆 Achievement
Completing an Egg Hunt run will unlock the 'Extinction Event' achievement. This achievement can also be unlocked at Halloween during the Trick or Treat challenge.

All small text now uses a larger font which is more legible on all devices, but especially on Steam Deck.
Enemy intention icons (in the orange popup on the right-hand side of the screen) now rotate to match their direction. For example, if an enemy intends to move left the arrow will now point left.
Info popups now have a semi-transparent background so they don't hide what's behind them too much.
Your current total score is now displayed on the Pause menu.
Bug Fixes

Fixed text not displaying correctly in the How To Play screens (actually fixed now).
Fixed Steam Deck button icons not being automatically selected (also actually fixed now).
Daily Challenge popup no longer appears in Select Mode menu if this mode is not yet unlocked.
If you view the Team Info screen when one of your players is dead, the remaining player's panel is now left-aligned instead of centred.

🏆 Achievement change
One last note: the 'Trick or Treat' achievement has been changed to 'Extinction Event' and is unlocked by completing any seasonal event. So if you missed the Halloween event last year, you now have another chance to unlock this achievement!
🆕 What's new in v1.4
✨ Added

Egg Hunt Daily Challenge: a special new seasonal event running from 15th-22nd April 2022.
Resolution controls added to Graphics Options menu.
You are now offered the option to restart a stage if you are defeated (provided that restart is available).
Undo Suggestions; you will now be asked if you want to undo actions if you end your turn with any players in danger (provided that Undo is available). This feature can be disabled in the Gameplay Options menu if you prefer to live life on the edge.
🔧 Changed

"Trick or Treat" achievement changed to "Extinction Event". It can now be unlocked by completing any seasonal special event (not just Halloween).
Rocks no longer appear in Stage 1-1 (partly to make "Uptown Top Ranking" achievement more reliably attainable).
Your score is now submitted to the leaderboard if and when you abandon a Daily Challenge run.
Options menu is now split into multiple pages to make room for more options.
🐛 Fixed

Achievements will be automatically synced between Steam and local save data in the event of a mismatch. This is to resolve an issue where some players lost their local save data.
~~Languages other than English are no longer automatically selected (they're not translated yet!).~~ Actually this bug was not fixed properly. Now fixed in v1.4.1.
"Long Shot Kick the Bucket" achievement now displays the correct name and description.
Player facial expressions and sweat droplets now correctly reset when you use Undo.
Wounded monsters' blood droplets are now affected by the "Grey Blood" setting.
Controller settings now correctly update if you restore defaults on a different tab.
"Catch Ball" icon no longer appears if you preview a shot against a stunned Sascatch.
Team Info screen is now correctly centred in the middle of the screen on larger resolutions.

The dungeon just got messier. Some of the new Perks above make use of these blood splats, which will appear whenever you hit or kill monsters.

The first big update for Dungeon Deathball is here!
Make sure Steam downloads the latest version (check pending downloads) to grab the new changes.
Here's what's new in version 1.1...
Smooth Fonts option
You can now choose to display all text with a smoother, non-pixelated font instead of the usual retro-style font.
This option was added in response to feedback from players with low vision and aims to make the in-game text more legible.
Enable Smooth Fonts in the Options menu for this to take effect.
Clearer warnings when players are in danger
When players are standing on a dangerous tile, the tile's hazard stripe effects now pulse orange.
The intent is to make it more eye-catching when players are about to die, particularly when being targetted by a lightning attack ⚡ (I noticed several players getting zapped without realising it while watching some of your livestreams).
In addition to this, spike traps now display this warning if a player is standing on them (unless that player is safe because they have the Hardfoot perk).
Text changes
Some text has been edited for clarity.
Lone Wolf achievement text changed to make it more clear that you need to begin the final stage with only one player alive.
Bulldozer perk description now mentions that it's a "charge-attack".
Powerball perk description no longer refers to "enemies" since it also affects players and obstacles.
Perk descriptions have been repositioned on the upgrade screen so that it's easier to see what effect they have.
Bug fixes
'Move is in the Heart' achievement no longer unlocks if you move then Undo then move again.
'Move is in the Heart' achievement will now correctly unlock even if the player dies or the stage ends during that turn.
Stunning the final boss now clears his lightning attack marker on the tile he was targeting.
Fixed typo in How To Play section about Gold.
Several HUD elements are now scaled correctly when using 1680 x 1050 resolution.
