A new driver input interface was added to SteamVR and Natural Locomotion stopped working without it. This update resolves that issue. Also the workaround for the previous update where we switched thumb rest touch to joystick touch doesn't seem to be necessary any more. You may ha
A SteamVR update removed the detection of the thumb rest area as a button, so this update fixes it by using the "thumbs up" gesture combined to the button and joystick touch to detect whether the thumb rest area is being touched. Known issues: It does not work with Steam Link, an
There was a long standing issue where the overlay was completely invisible in AMD GPUs and forced the user to instead use the desktop view to be able to use the application interface. The issue has been fixed. It also affected the Steam Deck on Windows since it uses an AMD APU (C
On the 1st of April we made an update on both main and demo versions of the app but a mistake broke it for the main one. In our tests it worked but we tested twice the demo one by mistake. This problem went unnoticed for 3 days. We're terribly sorry.
Modified UI and help menu to mention iPhone, and include a link to the App Store. There's no functional change in this patch other than that, the iPhone app should have been working as-is. If you have trouble with the app and you have an old version of iOS, try updating it.
Some time ago we launched Nalo Tracker for Android devices. And we're happy to announce that we've finally released Nalo Tracker for iOS today. Running this app on your smartphone will turn it into a foot or body movement tracker and send them to Natural Locomotion for PC where,
We added 106 new profiles for 21 games and 6 headsets, updated 2 existing ones with support for Oculus and HP Reverb G2, and added screenshots of the game settings for many profiles (75 screenshots in total). We also fixed an issue where recently created Steam libraries could not
There was a change in SteamVR drivers that broke this feature and it has been fixed.
This week we have received the new HTC Vive Pro 2 to ensure full compatibilty with Natural Locomotion. Natural Locomotion is now reading the IDs of the connected USB devices to determine whether to use a workaround that is needed for the cameras but that could crash other headset
We have released a demo version of the app which has all the functionality but with time limits. That means you can test all features (and whether it works with your setup at all) before deciding if you want to buy it. It includes a new help manual with a lot of answers for frequ
We released Natural Locomotion on Sunday, 8th of April of 2018 with just Vive support, a very basic hands mode and a few profiles. Looking back the application has grown a lot thanks to the support of a wonderful community that allowed us to continue the development. For this upd
It uses profiles originally made for Oculus Rift, but with joystick till activation by default. It also works very well with the buttonless activator (in edit profile -> configure buttons). If you find any issue please tell us in the forum. Thanks to RealOVirtual for lending u
Apparently the previous fix didn't work when the app is opened from Steam. We fixed that.
Last update introduced a bug where the buttonless mode didn't work with some headsets (calculated hip height was completely wrong). This patch fixes it. We have also added a note about Joycon support warning that off-brand (third party) Joycons are not tested and may not work at
With this update we have finished to port all the old features to the new version of Natural Locomotion, so the legacy version should not be required anymore. Align VR spaces of different tracking systems Combine lighthouse devices (Trackers, HTC Vive controllers or Index control
As the title says, we finally solved the performance problems we had with the new version, which was using 20-40% of GPU and one whole core of CPU. Now both sit at 0-1% most of the time. The auto-minimize workaround is no longer needed so we removed it. We're still working in bri
We found a lack of performance when the window of Natural Locomotion app is active (foreground) on the desktop. So we have added a feature to auto minimize the window since the most common scenario to use Natural Locomotion is from the SteamVR Overlay. This feature can be disable
We've added support for HP Reverb G2, and created a profile list for it based on Oculus profiles, but using joystick tilt as activator (because its joystick doesn't have a touch sensor). Joystick tilt has been fixed, and we've added "joystick tilt up" that only activates in that
As the title says, if you still have this problem it's likely this update has fixed it. Thanks to everybody that notified us of the problem, and particularly to Steam user (ナルト)narutoo999 for helping us figuring it out. Apparently it's crashing for a couple of users. That's a dif
Many users have reported problems with installing the new driver, so we revised the process and fixed several bugs along the way. Please restart Steam to ensure you have the update. This update also fixes buttonless activation for some new SteamVR users, and fixes with Joycon/PSM
