We've added some helpful quality-of-life features, cleaned up the editor experience, and added some visual goodies throughout the game too! The biggest thing you'll notice is that tunnel holds now animate down the rails. It's a fun effect that really helps tie them in with the music. Another feature oft-requested by players was the ability to calibrate the audio for monitors/TVs with a delay. This can be accessed via Options > Audio.

- Changed road creation logic for User levels. Now levels are created regardless of BPM, using only MPH as their speed factor.

It's been a long time since the last update, but rest assured there was a lot of work going into this one. We've done some optimizations across the entire game, focusing mainly on areas that had the biggest issues with players. It's still not perfect, but it's a huge improvement over how the game used to run. On top of regular bug fixes and tweaks, we redid a lot of the lighting throughout the game, including how sun rays bleed through environments. Fans of the game will notice a lot of little touches! When we first released the Sites & Sounds Collection DLC, we thought it would be cool to have a revised version of the soundtrack included. For some reason we didn't realize that people who wanted to hear the game's actual soundtrack would expect it to be the one in this DLC.

Today we are righting this wrong. And instead of replacing the old album for the new one, we're including both with the DLC. That's right, there are now 2 albums (84 tracks), all in MP3 and FLAC, included with the DLC. That's on top of the 7 playable prototypes and art book PDF. (If you already own the DLC, you already have the original soundtrack!)

This is thanks to the many members of the official Discord server, especially those who have been a part of the Future branch of the game, where players can test out new features and fixes before they go live to the general public.
To join the Future branch, go to Steam, right-click Overpass, select Properties, go to the Betas tab, and select "future" from the drop-down list.
Then enter the password thefutureisnow to gain access

Down in the depths of the RPS video dungeon, Matthew will occasionally release Alice L and I from the shackles clasping our wrists (we’ve still got a big comical prison ball ‘n’ chain on our ankle, mind you) and gift us with a random selection of video games we’ve been sent to play. The three of us then give ten minutes or so each in a series called Reviews Roulette. There’s a new episode out, and it’s got Tony Hawk on a unicycle, a useless robot named Ollie, and a wheelbarrow full of bricks made of flesh.

We have an active Discord channel filled with players sharing levels, strategies, and the occasional bugs they may find.
Things might be a little rough around the edges, especially when it comes to performance on some levels and moving about in the editor, but we are reading everyone's comments and doing what we can to sort everything out. Your patience is very much appreciated as we continue to make sure the game is as good as it can be.
If you haven't heard, there is also DLC available, the Sites and Sounds Collection, which features the full soundtrack by Makeup and Vanity Set, an art book PDF of concepts, doodles, and sketches with liner notes, as well as 7 playable prototypes chronicling various stages of the game throughout development, also with commentary for each.
