Besides an all-new playable character, we also added 3 new rifles...

With the full release of the game getting closer and closer, we're working at full speed on adding the last bits and pieces of content (Aya is coming, don't you worry!) while at the same time putting a nice coat of polish on every gameplay element.
Having said that, we didn't want to leave you hanging for too long without an update so here is something for all you collectors out there - Wanted Killer VR now has trading cards, badges and cute emoticons for you to unlock and use on Steam. You know the drill: play the game, have fun, unlock cool stuff... It couldn't be easier 😎
On top of many under-the-hood improvements that will enhance your gameplay experience, we're also bringing you a new badass boss - Lobster McClaw! Why the name? Sometimes a picture says it all:

For the last couple of weeks, we've been thinking about a fun way to increase Mia's defensive capabilities and finally found a solution we're all happy with. Be ready for a tougher Mia 2.0 who now holds a riot shield in her free hand! Obviously, we also updated her Tutorial mission accordingly so you can learn how to use it.
On top of that, we're bringing you a brand new level and a fresh enemy boss. The map name is Hangar and the boss is called Acido Domingo - make an educated guess what he's up to... 😎 Some bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements wrap up today's update. Today, we're happy to announce Update 11 which brings you an all-new playable character! Say hello to Teo, a brawler who is most efficient in close quarter combat, taking out foes with his baton and shotgun. Unlike Ricky and Mia, Teo has the unique ability to also teleport to live enemies, giving him a leg-up in point blank situations.
We also shuffled some missions around and changed the character selection for certain missions. Our goal was to make sure that the playstyle of the character chosen for a certain mission is in tune with the specific layout of the respective map. For example, did we put Teo in more contained maps such as Ship while Mia will be playing in spacious areas such as Skyscraper. While this does affect your level progression, it will have no impact on your player stats such as character or gun levels.
This means that you might end up replaying missions you have already completed before, but they will feel better and much closer to what we want to achieve with the full release. We understand that losing progress can be frustrating, but we're convinced that in the end you will appreciate the improved quality and enjoy the game even more!
On top of that, there are also three new weapons...
...and a new enemy type Grenade Gunner:

Today we are bringing you our first update for this year and it's all about peace and nature and... new improved ways of eliminating enemies obviously! Some weapons and enemies now have an elemental affinity according to the following rule set: Fire weapons (red) deal bonus damag
Today we are bringing you our first update for this year and it's all about peace and nature and... new improved ways of eliminating enemies obviously!
Some weapons and enemies now have an elemental affinity according to the following rule set:

Fire weapons (red) deal bonus damage against Ice enemies (blue) and vice versa.
Electric weapons (yellow) deal bonus damage against Acid enemies (green) and vice versa.
All elemental types are weak against their own color. As an example, shooting a Fire weapon at a Fire enemy means less damage.
Armored enemies - some enemies, including all robots, have armor. Rifles as well as Electric and Acid weapons are most effective against these enemy types.
Besides that, the evil corporation Genetic Minds was up to no good once again: Boss Kees van Kloten has been cloned! 😮 His clones are weaker versions of the more powerful boss and now show up in several missions as regular enemies.

Co-op is here!
For the last couple of weeks we have been working hard on the promised co-op feature (you can find the full release roadmap here ), so we're very happy to deliver the good news that from now on you will be able to play the game with a friend. Christmas coming early this year! 🎄
For the last couple of weeks we have been working hard on the promised co-op feature (you can find the full release roadmap here), so we're very happy to deliver the good news that from now on you will be able to play the game with a friend. Christmas coming early this year! 🎄
Every campaign mission (excluding the initial tutorial) will be playable in the 2 player co-op mode and you will be able to choose any character that you've unlocked. Of course the new feature is also available in horde mode, so try your luck and get to the top of the leaderboard!
We truly believe this is one of the coolest updates to the game so far, as for the first time ever you will be able to see other players teleporting between opponents and taking them out... in style! Also, what's better than killing bad guys with a friend? 😎
As always, there are a couple of other small changes and improvements to the game which we don't want to hold back from you. You can find the full list here:

From now on, there are 5 different enemy tiers - higher tiers mean stronger enemies but also a higher chance of a rare weapon drop! Which brings us to... GUNS! There are now 5 different weapon rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary. Within each rarity, there are 5 different levels. You can increase weapon levels by upgrading your guns with gold. Each weapon can be upgraded to level 5.
We have also improved Lobby and changed the loadout screen so you can easily manage all these new sweet guns that you collected.
Apart from that, we also added new mission and a new boss character “Kees van Kloten”.
And that's still not it. Here is the full list of all changes to be found in this update:

Apart from that, we also did a variety of optimization and clean-up changes in Warehouse, Docks and Ship for an improved performance as well as a couple of quality-of-life improvements. As always, you can find the full list here:

Added sound and vibration to make it more obvious when guns finished reloading

Replaced Mia’s base weapon with the new “L38 BUMBLEBEE”
Improved weapon balancing

Option 1: hold the grip button to focus teleport and release to stop

It's the last day of Steam Summer Sale and we're happy to provide you with another update. Update 3 brings you a couple of quality of life improvements that will make the overall playing experience more fun and as always, we also fixed a couple of bugs which we didn't notice the
It's the last day of Steam Summer Sale and we're happy to provide you with another update. Update 3 brings you a couple of quality of life improvements that will make the overall playing experience more fun and as always, we also fixed a couple of bugs which we didn't notice the last time.
Besides those smaller improvements, we now also integrated LIV as this was popular request from your side - so get back in the game and broadcast your slickest moves and chain kills to the world ːsteamhappyː
On top of that, we completely changed tutorial mission #2 "Time Manipulation" as a lot of you guys were struggling with it, mainly due to a sloppy communication of the mission objective (which is totally on us, so sorry again to those affected!).
Here's the full list of features, improvements and fixes to be found in this update:

LIV integrated (additional optimizations will come in future updates)
Tutorial mission #2 updated: take out three enemies using slow-teleport
Freeze Pistol tweaked, so it works as intended

Update 2 brings a little bit of darkness in the form of an all-new amazing view on our Skyscrapers panorama at night with ambient lights coming from neon billboards and the stars in the sky, giving it an eerie look. You will also have the chance to experience a new mode called "L

You will also have the chance to experience a new mode called "Lightning Strike" for the first time. Don't let GENETIC MINDS grill you alive, so keep teleporting fast enough - or rather slow enough.
It also seems that CEO Kincaid has heard about your recent successes which is why he deployed a new killing machine to stop you once and for all. Welcomes you with bullets: The Drone Storm.
But that's not all. The generous CEO treated two of his best troopers to better weapons - Superior SMG and Shotgun soldiers received upgrades with two new shiny and even more deadly guns!

Big thanks to all of you who decided to support us and our vision for Wanted Killer VR early on. The team is super excited to share details about our first big content update that we will be releasing later this month. But before that we prepared a bunch of quality-of-life improvements that we think will make the game more fun in the meantime.
Based on your initial feedback, we noticed that a lot of you guys seemed to have missed the option to manually reload weapons which is why this has been added now. Simply aim your guns straight up and they will reload:
Another comment we received quite often was referring to the enemy AI behavior. Especially the VR pros among you felt there was too much down-time during gameplay, so we went ahead and spiced things up a little.
Here's the full list of improvements and fixes to be found in this update:

Manual reload of guns added
Enemy AI behavior improvements (less down-time during gameplay)
Option to choose between free locomotion head oriented or controller oriented
Improvements to weapon handling: visuals and functionality
Improvements to Freeze pistol skill (it will be easier to freeze enemies)
Defense mode rule-set update: Mia’s drone gets attacked by enemies, additional fail condition for clearing the mission (Missions: Commuter, Mile High, Genesis)
Additional tutorial mission “Time manipulation” added
Lobby improvements:

Campaign restructured into chapters (Tutorial, Legacy, Identity, Revenge)
More information per mission given on screen such as difficulty of mission & mode
Survival mode lobby tutorial added

Survival mode leaderboard improvements

Survival mode mission break-down leaderboard added (no need to leave to HQ to check leaderboard score)

Free movement controls improvement for Vive

Gun hand position fixes

Fixed right arm positioning bug

Achievement bugs fixed

Minor tweaks, bug fixes and improvements

On May 23rd we’re going to release Wanted Killer VR in Early Access and we hope you're as excited about playing it as we are about finally delivering it into your hands. We have big plans for the game and much more content to add with future updates! But we have to start somewher
On May 23rd we’re going to release Wanted Killer VR in Early Access and we hope you're as excited about playing it as we are about finally delivering it into your hands. We have big plans for the game and much more content to add with future updates! But we have to start somewhere, and this is it. Here’s what you will find in the version that we release this week for $9,99 or equivalent:

Story campaign consisting of 15 missions and starting with a tutorial, so you don't get lost in the game early on. You will follow the story of Ricky as he is the first of our four playable heroes planned for the game.
3 distinct locations: Genetics Lab, Subway and Skyscrapers. Each one of them offers different playstyle opportunities, spanning from tight horizontal corridors to vertical areas and wide open spaces.
Survival mode on all 3 locations so you can hone your skills after finishing the campaign and compete with your friends.
Deep upgrade system. With every mission you will gain XP and gold that will help you develop your character but also upgrade and customize your loadout. More options, more fun!
Amazing-looking pistols with crazy abilities. When you read pistols, you might think "boring", but then again ours shoot bursts of bullets like Uzis, snipe enemies in cover, shield you when you're flying through the level and freeze enemies. And all of that in bullet time. Trust us, they do much more than pew pew!
Don't you worry though! We will not leave you with just pistols as that would be unfair considering the bad guys are equipped with well-known classics like SMGs, shotguns and flamethrowers. We even spiced it up a notch with railguns and tesla rifles! All you need to do is eliminate them and grab their guns, easy enough.
All this comes on top of the features we already announced, like free locomotion (about which you can read in previous post here) and tactical teleportation that lets you create your very own action sequences.
We see Wanted Killer VR's Early Access as a starting point for the game. Where we go from here will highly depend on you. We want the community to be very engaged in the creative process and funnel this passion to make together the best VR shooter possible. Your feedback will be essential to do that, so come join us on this crazy bullet-time ride.
