A new warrior has been unleashed from hell!
Val the Darkseed has a complicated origin. In the countless experiments done by Mephistopheles to create a clone of the dethroned King of Hell, only one succeeded the horrid experiment, creating the "perfect warrior".
Bequeathed with Hellsbane by Mephistopheles, Val is a ruthless and wild fighter albeit still a newborn. As a melee fighter, Val's combat style revolves around closing gap and execute the enemy with lightning fast speed.
Val's unique mechanic enables you to dash into an enemy by executing an attack, making it a perfect tool to dispatch with a Hellbreak or just simply slash them to nothingness!
Though compared to Arok, Val isn't the toughest cookie when it comes to tanking damage, so be wary of the unforgiving hell's army!

Added the 4th Warrior: Val, the Darkseed
Val is a melee warrior who excels in closing gaps to slay enemies. Utilize his lightning flash speed to quickly dispatch any foes that stand before you! His explosive speed, combined with the power of Hellsbane, nothing would be able to stop Val's conquest to escape hell!

Recently, We've come across some various reports regarding issues to game performance and specific controller not being shown in-game.
Our newest update have addressed these issues. As for the specific controller to work, some tweak on your steam settings are needed to be done:

Go to your Library
Right click on the game and select Properties
Open Controller tab
Change the "Override For Rising Hell" to Disable Steam Input
Lastly and not least, we have some small teaser in our Twitter for the upcoming new character, go check it out if you haven't!

We've been getting various feedbacks regarding bugs and readjustments for the game!
One of the features that we added is a dynamic zoom option where you can adjust or disable the zooming effect (though it doesn't change in some places like boss fights} in-game!
More changes can be found on the full patch notes below:

Added Dynamic Zoom settings in the Options menu
Added Screen Effects settings in the Options menu
Fixed sound effects stacking when multiple source appears at the same time
When killed by Final Boss in Redemption Mode, player will now respawn in the Boss stage instead of the Trickster's Treasury.
Fixed locked Talent Combo showing wrong descriptions
We will still continue improving the game, so your feedbacks are very much welcome! Please don't be hesitant!

Thus some tweaks shall be made! And here's the not so list of the patch:

Just a few weeks left before Rising Hell is fully released! Have you caught up with the recent comic? In case you haven't seen our previous post, the comic can also be found on our various social media platforms!
Since the full version of Rising Hell will be released soon, we took this chance to look back and improve the game. This is true regarding some of the gauntlet challenges that seem close to impossible to complete. Various tweaks and fixes are deemed necessary so we hope that this will improve the overall feel of the game. Nonetheless, here are the few changes that have been made:

New languages: French and Spanish (LatAm)
Rebalanced various talent costs
Added SFX when displaying pop-up screen
Improved performance in Rewards menu
Tweaked credits menu display
Fixed some delayed SFX
Fixed a bug where player's rank is not displayed after completing Gauntlet mode
Fixed a bug with Trickster Mask relic where talents in Trickster's Treasury still have their names and descriptions displayed
Fixed a bug with Trickster Mask relic where talent names and descriptions are misplaced
Fixed a bug where player keeps getting increased combo count when Zelos is hitting the monster Guillotine in defensive stance
Fixed a bug with Shockwrath talent icon
Fixed a bug with Weekly Dares mode where modifier descriptions in Pause menu are misplaced
Fixed a bug where Controls settings aren't updated after the Default button is pressed
Fixed a bug where toxin gas become invisible in Bloodlust 2 of Gauntlet mode
Fixed a bug where some Conquest achievements are able to be unlocked in Gauntlet mode
Fixed a bug where player are able to navigate the Options menu behind a pop-up screen
Fixed a bug in Gauntlet mode where Achievements aren't unlocked if player pressed the Skip button
Fixed a bug in Gauntlet mode where player can't save their rank if they achieved the lowest grade

First of all, we would like to apologize for the lack of communications and updates. 2020 was definitely a hell of a ride for a lot of us. Although we had to move around, delay, and push back a lot of updates, we still managed to deliver most of the contents in the roadmap we pushed at the beginning of last year.
But worry not! We are approaching the final gates! We are pushing to deliver the 1.0 release of Rising Hell really soon!
Here are what we are working on right now:

More contents for 1.0! Including the final boss and endings. who could it be!?
Tweaking and improving the balance of Talents, Relics, and Warriors! We want the player to have freedom to explore as many builds as they like. for a balanced soul economy in hell!
Overall game polish and bug fix! We are continuously improving the game by squashing bugs and adding more polish. some hell residents are unpredictable...
More languages! We are working with our localization team to deliver more languages for the game, as well as improving existing languages. Hell's committee going worldwide!
Console ports! More news on this later. 🔥🔥🔥

Lifegreed: Increases green soul drop rate by 25% (From 20%), cost changed to 100 (From 120)
Wraithlord: Increases invincibility duration by 1 second after taking damage (From 2s), cost changed to 90 (From 120)
Nethergain: Increases weapon energy capacity by 100% (From 50%), cost changed to 150 (From 115), changed to tier 2 (From 1)
Corruptcore: Improves the duration of artifacts by 5 seconds (From 4s), cost changed from 110 (From 150)

The previous update in our public beta branch is now out! Aside from the update included in the last one, we added up to date achievements, and more will come soon.
In case you missed our last announcement, here's some interesting Mode and changes that you can try in our new update.
You can now play Conquest with Redemption Mode option. By checking this option you'll get 3 chances (or lives) and continue from your current progress. Keep in mind that your soul and blight gain will be reduced in this mode, and your score won't be listed on the leaderboard.
Added 2 new challenges in gauntlet mode; Madhell and Deathrush.
You'll be challenged with various obstacles and hazards in Madhell, but a single mistake is all that it takes to kill you here so tread carefully.
In Deathrush time is your enemy! Climb your way as fast as possible and fight the archdemon before time runs out, the enemy here will also drop an item to extend your time limit. Be fast and be swift mortals!
Last but not least, bug fixes and more accessible options in the settings are included in this update. See our full list of the patch here:

Added new difficulty : Redemption Mode: Gives 3 chances of Redemption, 1 is reduced when you die and you'll be resurrected.
Increased Agony levels to 24.
Fixed movement glitch on 3rd Archdemon (Dasael)
Fixed glitch on 3rd Archdemon clone's attack movement.
Fixed bug on Sydna's explosive spheres when attacking an Archdemon using Satanic weapon.
Slain Archdemon now drops 100 red souls, while red souls bonus on boss reward screen are now decreased to 100.
Fixed some bugs on Weekly Dares.
Fixed bug on the battle against Magog.
Choosing Re-rise is now also increasing the agony level.
Added a 'reset to default' in the settings menu

Now we have prepared ourselves a Redemption[ for you guys!
You can now play Conquest with Redemption Mode option. By checking this option you'll get 3 chances (or lives) and continue from your current progress. Keep in mind that your soul and blight gain will be reduced in this mode!
But of course, it never gets any easier inside here so it's our pleasure to give you even more Agony level and raise the maximum to level 24 😈

Good job on staying alive in hell for this long! As expected from the chosen warrior, you've used the Hellsbane quite stunningly.
But the real question is, among the other mortals out there, are you really the one worthy to wield the power of Hellsbane? To answer that question, we have prepared a new game mode called the Weekly Challenge mode!
In the Weekly Challenge mode, you will be assigned with the same character, starting relic, seed, and modifier with the others. For a one-week time span, we'll see who's the best warrior out there!
If you're up to the challenge, you can always hop into the public beta branch by following these steps.

In addition to the new mini-bosses, there are also new changes we made in 0.9.3 update:

Increased item attraction range to make them easier to be collected.
Fixed bug on Slaughtering Spire stage.
Fixed bug on character selection menu.
Balanced Sydna's attack damage.
Fixed bug in Talent room.
Tweaked stage design on 3rd realm.
Fixed bug on Sydna's bullet image when acquiring weapons
Tweaked stage design on Trials of Necropyre.
Updates on Chinese localization
