HUNTDOWN: OVERTIME is a fast-paced action roguelite inspired by the VHS-era of action classics. Each failed run sends you back to the operating table where John's flesh is systematically replaced with metal, granting him enhancements to fail less often but more spectacularly on subsequent forays into the mean streets.

What about May 12th? Oh no big deal, just Huntdown is dropping on Steam that day. That's right, only a few short weeks from now.
We want to say thank you to everyone for all your support and comments on our last post, we are incredibly grateful to have such a fantastic community. We can’t wait to serve up the latest and greatest version of Huntdown with you here.
Huntdown is our love letter to the much loved old school arcade experience, and we wanted to bring you a bunch of new features that continue to bring that to life.
Not very subtle are we? But it’s true, new features coming to the Steam release of Huntdown include a brand new Arcade game mode (AND it’s exclusive to steam for the first few weeks!). What the heck does that even mean? Glad you asked! This is a new score-based game mode, where you will be able to take on hordes of enemies with a wild range of over-the-top weaponry. Build up kill streaks, multi-kill bonuses and all sorts of other rewards for choosing the unnecessarily violent option in combat.
Of course, no arcade mode is complete without a hotly contested leaderboard, and we want to discover which one of you is at the top of the bounty hunting food chain. So arm up, and see how far you can make it up our global leaderboard! We will also, of course, be releasing those much-loved Steam Achievements and Trading Cards when we launch.
And finally, thanks to Steam Remote Play, the Steam release of Huntdown will let you enjoy Huntdown multiplayer experience with a friend online. As much as we’d love to play together in-person, slaying criminals with our buddies, that has sadly become difficult for many of us with global pandemics friggin with our ability to have couch co-op parties.
Gaming has been such a powerful tool to bring people together over the past year, and we can’t wait to see everyone cleaning up the mean streets (virtually) side by side again!

Tommy and Andreas here from Easy Trigger, the studio behind Huntdown. Our small four man team (based in Sweden) has been building our dream game since late-2016. We’re blown away by how eager you’ve all been to get your hands on the game, so we’d like to start by thanking everyone for your patience..
Huntdown is our first title, and, as you can imagine, the games industry is a tough business to succeed in. Last year we decided to go Epic Games Store exclusive for the PC version. As a small team, this gave us much needed reassurance that we'd stay in business. The EGS deal also secured us time to give Huntdown some essential polishing, and give players the experience we envisioned, and they expected. We didn’t take this decision lightly, and our goal has always been to bring the Huntdown experience to everyone, regardless of platform.
Now we're closing in on the one year anniversary, we're thrilled to finally release on Steam! We have been absolutely humbled by the passion the Steam community has shown for Huntdown over the past year, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to join the community!
Back in January we confirmed that Huntdown will be coming to Steam in the first half of the year, and we can’t wait to share some of the surprises we’ve been working on with you. We have a lot planned, and on April 7th we'll be revealing everything, including new features, and the confirmed launch date!
