PlayStation has revealed the roster of new games that'll be added to its PS Plus line-up next week, and it’s packed full of tantalising titles to sink your teeth into this Christmas. So, what’s arriving on December 20?
First things first, those with PS Plus Extra and Premium will be able to dive into three different Far Cry games: Far Cry 5, Far Cry New Dawn, and Far Cry Primal. Admittedly, not the best games in the series, but still well worth a go if Far Cry is your thing. Far Cry 5 is undoubtedly the highlight here, giving you the opportunity to take on cult leader, Joseph Seed, and liberate the community of Hope County, Montana.
Alongside those, WWE 2K22 will also arrive, letting you play solo or with friends as your favourite WWE superstars. This one won’t be arriving on December 20, but we can expect it to be added to the service sometime soon after.

Hay served as a producer on Far Cry 3, before moving to an executive producer role for Far Cry 4 and 5, and the series' Blood Dragon, Primal and New Dawn spin-offs.
A Venturebeat report states Hay had been helping build the next iteration of the Far Cry series, which will launch as a live-service.

Though I couldn’t name a character or recount a story beat from it, I played Far Cry 5 for 36 hours. That’s not bad. I did a lot of shooting, adventuring and crafting, and then moved onto another shiny treat in my library (or returned to Overwatch). You can probably see and do everything I did during the upcoming free weekend. It stretches from Thursday August 5th (tomorrow) at 2pm until Monday August 9th, and lets you play the whole game solo or with a co-op buddy.

Following on the steps of the fantastic but troubled fan remake of GoldenEye, the latest classic spy game to receive a remake in Far Cry 5 is the underrated Project IGI - as a fan has rebuilt all levels from both the original IGI and its sequel, IGI 2: Covert Strike, in Far Cry Arcade.
The remakes of Project IGI and IGI 2 were made by user gregorpl123, otherwise known as GregorOnline on YouTube (thanks, DSOGaming). They completely remade all 14 missions of Project IGI and all 19 missions of the sequel in Far Cry 5, and they're all freely available to play by just going into Far Cry Arcade and searching for "IGI".
Last week we heard that several fan-made GoldenEye levels in Far Cry 5 had been pulled by Ubisoft following a copyright claim, but it seems the author has now reuploaded the levels under a new name - which will hopefully be enough to ensure the levels stay up in future. After con
After confirming the levels had been pulled, creator Krollywood said a few days ago he intended to "change some details like names and re-upload them as soon as possible," and it seems that's now happened. Krollywood confirmed in a Reddit comment that the levels have been reuploaded to Far Cry 5's arcade mode under the name "Golden Cry". To find them on PS4 you'll need to search for the creator name "Perfect-Dark1982", and on PC the creator name is "Graslu00".
Krollywood spent two and a half years recreating the 18 GoldenEye 007 levels in Far Cry 5's level editor, and you can hear a little about how he did it in the video below:

The fan-made GoldenEye 007 remake has returned to Far Cry 5, albeit under a different name. As spotted by TechRaptor, the levels are now available on PC and PS4 with some "Bond-related" tweaks. Creator Krollywood explains on Reddit that it can now be found on PC by searching for the stage name "Golden Cry" by creator Graslu00, and on PS4 under creator name Perfect-Dark1982. Xbox will "come later", explains Krollywood.
Original story: A Far Cry fan spent three years and around 1,400 hours completely remaking Nintendo 64 classic GoldenEye using Far Cry 5's Arcade map editor - only to have Ubisoft delete it as soon as it was complete, thanks to "copyright infringement claims" from rights holder MGM.
YouTuber Krollywood painstakingly recreated GoldenEye - still the greatest James Bond game and one of the best FPS games of all time - within Far Cry 5 and had basically finished it, barring the two bonus levels, only to find them gone earlier this week. In a statement by Ubisoft (thanks Kotaku), the publisher explained that the maps "have been removed due to copyright infringement claims from a right [sic] holder" - meaning MGM, who somehow found out about the remake (thanks Kotaku... kidding).

YouTuber Krollywood spent two-and-a-half years recreating Rare's seminal N64 first-person shooter inside the level editor provided within Far Cry 5, but this week Ubisoft removed the levels from the game's arcade mode after a copyright infringement claim reportedly issued by MGM.
All 18 GoldenEye campaign levels were remade and made available to play by anyone in Far Cry 5's arcade mode, even with the odd additional Easter egg. You can check out the Dam remake level in the video below:
