Dear Community,

On 18th August 2022, Metin2 is moving from Steam to the Gameforge Client. As a result, it will no longer be possible for new players to register via Steam from 18th May 2022, and the game will only be available via the Gameforge Client in future.

Don’t worry, you won’t lose out from this change. All of your progress remains safe, along with everything you’ve purchased and played for. Switching to the Gameforge Client is also straightforward.

How to Migrate

Please visit our migration page and click on the Steam button.

Log into your Steam account. Steam will ask for permission to link with the Gameforge Client; please confirm this request.

On our migration page there are two ways you can move to the Gameforge Client.

If you already have a Gameforge Client account, log in and click on Confirm Migration.
If you don’t have a Gameforge Client account, click on Create Gameforge Account. Once you’ve created an account, you will be taken back to the account migration page. Now you can log in with your Gameforge details and select the account you want to move to the Gameforge Client from Steam.

You’ll receive confirmation once the migration is complete.

Please note the following:

After moving your Steam account to the Gameforge Client, you will no longer be able to play Metin2 on Steam. The migration cannot be reversed.
On 18th May 2022, all DLCs will be removed from Steam and will no longer be purchasable. Any outstanding DLC will be switched during the migration, so you won’t lose any content you purchased. Payment will also be deactivated, so it will no longer be possible to purchase Dragon Coins via Steam. You can only top up again once your account has been moved to the Gameforge Client. Any Dragon Coins you already own can however still be spent.
From 18th August 2022, it will no longer be possible to play the game via Steam. We highly recommend you migrate your account by then.
Permanently banned accounts cannot be migrated. Accounts which have only recently been banned can be migrated, but this will not affect the duration of the ban.
If you run into problems migrating, please wait and try again. If the problems persist, please contact our Customer Support team or ask members of the community.

Spring has sprung in Metin2 with some fantastic improvements and new content. Increase your versatility in battle with the newly-introduced second equipment page, stash items using the improved belt system and look forward to divine new upgrade items as well as maritime Easter costumes and mounts.

Change Your Equipment!

This update allows you to **unlock a second equipment page** and switch quickly and easily between two loadouts! No longer will you have to change each piece of equipment individually when you want to don a different set. Instead you can enjoy a super-speedy **equipment change at the touch of a button**. For example, you can clad yourself in PvP equipment on one page and PvE equipment on the other, so you’re perfectly prepared for anything!

How It Works

To unlock the second equipment page you’ll need the new Extra Equipment Page item. You can get this from a quest that will be automatically activated as soon as you reach level 120. Defeat the Ahtrin Grand Master in the Gnoll Caves and receive the new item as your reward. Use the item and the second equipment page will appear. You can kit this out just as you did the first one.

Alternatively, just buy the Extra Equipment Page item in the shop to activate the second page and surprise your opponent with a lightning-fast change of gear!

As soon as you’ve activated the additional equipment page, the associated Change Equipment Page skill will automatically be unlocked so you can change equipment quickly and easily at any time. You’ll find this skill in your secondary skills.

Improved Belt Inventory

Go ahead and loosen your belt now that the item restriction on the belt inventory has been lifted! Now you can stash all sorts of items in there.

But be warned – although you can now store anything you want in your belt, you still have to bear a few things in mind:

* Items are not automatically stored in your belt inventory. If, for example, you receive items from a quest or collect loot, these will always be delivered into your player inventory. When this is full you won’t be able to collect more, even if there is space in your belt inventory.
* Items that are necessary to complete a quest will only be recognised for the quest in the player inventory. If they’re stored in your belt inventory, you won’t be able to complete the quest.
* Items in your belt inventory can’t be used in the Quick Slot bar.

Seal of the Gods

With all these fabulous new options for your equipment, how’d you like to give your items an upgrade while you’re at it? Then pick up the Seal of the Gods, available in the shop at certain times – so keep your eyes open!
The seal **increases the chance of success when improving items** more than any other item before! There’s no level restriction on use, neither for player nor item level. Enjoy truly divine intervention when upgrading your equipment!

Easter Metins and Bouncy Bunny Sighted!

Metin2’s colourful Easter Event gets under way starting 31st March. The Easter Bunny is waiting with a basket full of rewards, while the towns are decked out in festive banners. Look forward to fantastic costumes with new set bonuses!

Make scrambled eggs out of Easter Metins and with any luck you might find a valuable Magic Egg inside. This can be opened three times and contains such treasures as Enchant Item, magic pearls and rare Blue Dragon Beans.

Journey to the Otherworld

Descend into the Otherworld and brave four devilish trials: Face off against the four emissaries of the Otherworld and earn your right to the ultimate confrontation against the Lord of Damnation. Along the way you can earn precious materials for crafting the new Damnation Shield

Descend into the Otherworld and brave four devilish trials: Face off against the four emissaries of the Otherworld and earn your right to the ultimate confrontation against the Lord of Damnation. Along the way you can earn precious materials for crafting the new Damnation Shield or the Phoenix of Redemption!

The event improvements introduced last time are still in force: damage from Asmodeus and the four emissaries is still reduced, you can sell, store and trade event crafting materials, and Death Flames can be obtained from bosses and Metins more often.

The Journey to the Otherworld event is available to all players from level 90. It takes part in two phases:

Phase 1

Event starts: 15th February 2022 at midnight (CET)
Event ends: 22nd February 2022 at 11:00 PM (CET)

In the first phase of the event, where the boundaries to the Otherworld are weakening, you can play for items which you will require in the second phase by defeating monsters and gathering Death Flames. These can be exchanged for Asmodeus Keys, Black Letters, Water of Life and Dead Souls. At the end of this phase, the Otherworld Portal becomes available and you can journey through to the other side.

Phase 2

Event starts: 23rd February 2022 at midnight (CET)
Event ends: 3rd March 2022 at 11:59 PM (CET)

In the second phase, you must battle through the Otherworld. Here you will need to call upon the items which you gathered in the first phase. Confront four emissaries for the right to face Asmodeus. In these fights you will already have the chance to loot some great rewards. If you are successful and manage to defeat the mighty Asmodeus, you can enter the divine room of Salvation, where your rewards await you.

Enter the Dungeon

The Otherworld is a hellish place which you must cross before facing Asmodeus, King of the Otherworld. You can reach the Otherworld by travelling through the portal at Cape Dragon Fire. Passing through the portal requires 3 Black Letters. The Otherworld consists of four rooms. In each room you must then face off against its emissary in combat.

Damnation is the place of judgement – here you will face your final opponent, Asmodeus. Use Dead Souls to weaken Asmodeus. You can also gain a significant advantage in combat against him by wearing the Damnation set. The Otherworld Talisman also provides succour against Asmodeus’ dark arts. As ruler of the Otherworld, Asmodeus cannot ever truly be defeated there; indeed he will return from the dead soon after you have defeated him, allowing you to face him again. The more often you manage to defeat him, the greater your reward.

Event Items

The Black Letter allows you to enter the Otherworld. It can be obtained for 1 Death Flame (80% chance).
Water of Life can be used to revive you in the Otherworld. It can be obtained for 5 Death Flames (80% chance).
Dead Souls can be used to reduce Asmodeus’ maximum HP. They can be obtained for 10 Death Flames (80% chance).
The Asmodeus Key allows you to enter Damnation directly and face Asmodeus. You can use it to skip the four trials without having to defeat their emissaries. The key can be obtained for 99 Death Flames (80% chance).

In 2022, Metin2 is starting with some new and marvellous content and improvements. Get ready for the expanded riding system with new horse skills and your own mercs that you can even send on operations while you’re offline!

Expanded Riding System

This update will make your mount even more useful! Summon a new Mighty War Horse with the Golden Horse Book. Use the horse skill books to have your mount learn powerful skills such as Swift Hooves, Raging Storm, Feather Walk, and Immortal. All that effort deserves a reward – feed your horse and you’ll boost its strength for your next battle together!

A New Horse

But how do you get your new horse? It’s simple! Once your horse reaches level 31, you’ll gain access to a quest that will let you prove yourself worthy of your new four-hooved companion. To pass the test you’ll have to defeat 100 monsters in the Gnoll Caves in 30 minutes! If you’re successful, you’ll get a Golden Horse Book.

Go to the Stable Boy right now and get a new daily quest that will let you earn fodder for your horse. Use the fodder to increase your horse’s level above level 20. Characters above level 75 can use this method to raise their horse’s level up to 30, and characters who have already reached Champion Level can raise their horse’s level up to 40. The handy bonuses your horse provides while mounted will become more potent up to level 30. And that’s not all! From level 31 to level 40 it will even boost your Sung Ma’s Will, and this bonus also increases with the horse’s level.

There are also several details to bear in mind when taking care of your new friend. For one thing, this horse only eats Red Ginseng (Premium), special food that can be found in Yohara. If something bad happens to your horse on your adventures, you’ll need Revigrass to revive it. You can find that on monsters in the Gnoll Caves.

New Horse Skills

Your new horse isn’t just good for getting from A to B! It’s also got powerful horse skills that will give you fantastic bonuses while you ride. Once your horse reaches level 21, you can have it learn 1 of the 18 new skills and be of even more use to you. The horse skill books needed to learn horse skills are found on bosses in Northwind Shelter, on your merc operations, and in many other places.

You can improve these new horse skills up to level 20. If you decide you don’t like a skill you’ve chosen for your horse, you can easily have your horse unlearn it. If your horse is at or below level 30, your horse can use 1 horse skill at a time, but from level 31 onwards it can use 2 at a time.

The Merc System

With the new Merc Licence, you can recruit mercs to provide services for you. Send them off to do missions for you while you’re offline! If your mercs are successful, they’ll bring back rewards from their operations.

The new system is simple. Talk to the Yohara Commander once you’ve reached Champion Level. He will give you a quest to complete before you can use the new merc system. Afterwards, press ‘U’ or select the merc system via the menu to access it.

Command Your Mercs

Use the Merc Licence to get a random merc. You can find these licences on the bosses stomping around Yohara, in treasure from the Serpent Temple, or in the Northwind Shelter, plus many other places. You can have a total of 24 mercs under your command to begin with, but upgrading will let you increase that limit up to 48.

Each of your mercs have their own levels, 30 being the maximum. The stronger your mercs are, the better their bonuses will be. Mercs gain experience by being trained by other mercs that you don’t need any more. After doing this one-off job for you, your merc trainers will leave your service to enjoy an early retirement. There are even special mercs that can’t ever be sent out on operations and are just there to train other mercs for you.

But beware: mercs can get hurt when you send them out on missions! An injured merc can’t be sent out on any more operations until they’re healed. They also won’t be able to train any other mercs. Use a Merc Medicine Coupon to heal a wounded merc so they’re ready to go out on your missions again.

If you have a merc whose services you don’t need any more, you can release them from your service.

Each Merc Is Unique

Each merc has their own name, special skills, and attributes. Names and skills will be chosen randomly when you recruit your mercs. Your mercs’ skills are useful passive bonuses, such as reduced chance of injury, or reduced operation duration.

Each time a merc reaches level 10, 20, or 30, there is a chance they will also learn a useful attribute. If they’ve already got an attribute, then this has a chance to be improved instead. Here are the possible attributes:

Scout: Reduced operation duration and increased chance of success for scout operations
Warrior: Reduced chance of injury and increased chance of success for warrior operations
Rescuer: Increased chance of success for rescuer operations
Collector: Increased chance for extra rewards and of success for collector operations
Lucky Devil: Increased chance of success for lucky devil operations

If your merc’s name matches their attribute, then they’ll get double the attribute bonus! Names and what they match with:

Adept – Scout
Strong – Warrior
Experienced – Rescuer
Collector – Collector
Lucky – Lucky Devil

Operations

Send your mercs out on operation to find some amazing rewards! Each operation will take into account the accumulated bonuses of the mercs you send out on it, so the more mercs you send out, the more likely it is to succeed.

Operations take place in special areas and sometime have specific operation types. If you don’t like the operations available to you, you can replace them with random ones once per day. Your Champion Level determines which operations you have access to. As your Champion Level increases, you’ll unlock more and better operations.

You need endurance before you can send your mercs out on operations. As your Champion Level increases, so too will your maximum endurance. If you run out of endurance, you can restore it at any time. Simply complete the repeatable quest from your quest log by defeating monsters in Yohara.

Once your soldiers complete an operation, you’ll be able to see the results, and collect your rewards if it was a success. You can also cancel an operation at any time. The mercs you have sent out on the operation you want to cancel will return to you immediately and unscathed. However, you won’t get any rewards from operations you cancel.

Christmas Events
Someone stole Santa's stockings. He was actually planning on hiding his presents inside them. Help him to find as many of them as possible! Help save Christmas and be richly rewarded in the process:

Stand in awe of the colourfully decorated Christmas tree, bigger and more beautiful than ever before, as it casts its festive splendour on the market place.

Metin Fever
Caution, Metin Fever is on the rise! There will be 3 peaks this month with each Fever event landing on an Advent Sunday. Destroy the Metin stones and face off against menacing bosses - Beran-Setaou, Jotun Thrym, Mysterious Monk and many other enemies are carriers of hefty loot!

Event Duration:
5th December 2021 from midnight until 11:59 PM (CET)
12th December 2021 from midnight until 11:59 PM (CET)
19th December 2021 from midnight until 11:59 PM (CET)

Destroy 5 Metin stones in your level range (from level 30) and receive 1 Challenge Scroll daily. With this scroll you can summon a special Metin stone which you must destroy to face an especially difficult opponent.

Once you have defeated the boss, grab their treasure and, with a little luck, another Metin stone will appear which can call an even stronger enemy to the scene. If you also defeat this one, you'll find out how virulent Metin Fever can be: there is a chance of progressively more devastating opponents coming your way, and it will test all your skills to defeat them. Of course the rewards will be great!

Tip: Luck is on your side on the continent of Yohara - the probability of even more dangerous bosses appearing is much higher in Yohara.

Your progress pays off doubly because when the servers shut down, you can take your best hero and move them to another server.

However, the temporary servers won’t only be of interest to Metin2 veterans, because completely new players will also have no problem finding their bearings – level up quickly, rake in rewards and use this opportunity to quickly become a Metin2 pro.

The Character Transfer

When you start off on one of the temporary servers, you can take on two great challenges:

Accept the 1st Challenge, complete 60 quests, reach level 90 and in the end you can transfer your best hero, Gaya and the equipment you’re wearing to a normal server.

Dive into the 2nd Challenge, defeat a dungeon boss in Yohara and be able to transfer your best hero, Gaya, the gear you’re wearing, the 1st inventory page, costume items and any equipped alchemy to a normal server.

However to secure your character transfer, you must have completed at least 60 quests and reached level 90. For the character transfer, you can only select servers in your region – excluded are the servers Amber, Lyncirium, Kehribar, Türkiye and Marmara.

The Quest Challenge

Complete 60 quests for the 1st Challenge. Possibilities include the main quests, side quests and biologist quests. Excluded are the starting areas for lycans and the daily Yohara quests. Complete these challenges to receive a free reward package in the shop which contains the following:

5x TC Voucher (50)
1x Jewellery Box
1x Royal Blue Peacock (7 Days)
1x Nightmare (3 days)
3x Concentrated Reading
5x Strength of the Tiger

Ranking for the 1st Challenge
A ranking list will be created for each kingdom on the temporary servers. You receive 1 rank point per quest completed. Only the quests mentioned above will count towards the ranking. You can see how well you are doing on our Ranking Website. The website will be updated daily at midnight (CET). After the servers are shut down, the top 10 players from each kingdom will receive their rewards in the shop.

The Yohara Challenges

For the 2nd Challenge you must defeat a dungeon boss on Yohara – group dungeon bosses count for the entire group, all other dungeon bosses only count for the player who kills it. Complete these challenges to receive a free reward package in the shop which contains the following:

Ranking for the 2nd Challenge

A ranking list will be created for each kingdom on the temporary servers. You receive rank points as listed in the table below. Only the bosses on the list count towards the ranking.
You can see how well you are doing on our Ranking Website. The website will be updated daily at midnight (CET). After the servers are shut down, the top 10 players from each kingdom will receive their rewards in the shop.

PvP Rankings
On the temporary servers there will also be PvP Rankings for each kingdom which will run until the servers close. Players 75 and above can receive PvP points for defeating players from other kingdoms in the open world. Various PvP actions here are worth different amounts of points. You can see your ranking for these activities on our Ranking Website. The website will be updated daily at midnight (CET). Players who abuse the system will be disqualified from the rankings.

PvP Tournament
Are you ready to test yourself against the best? Then participate in our big PvP Tournament! Enter the tournament map to register. But you can also enter the tournament map and just be a spectator.

There are 4 battlefields.
Duels are played according to an automatic K.O. tournament system.
4 battles can take place simultaneously every round.
Each battle is a 1v1 duel between two players.

Only the winners proceed to the next round until there is only one participant left: the undefeated champion!

Tournament dates:
Each tournament starts between 6 PM and 8 PM (CET) – depending on when the maximum number of participants per round has been reached. Registration opens each day at 6 PM (CET).

Rewards for the tournament champions:
The champion of the tournament is rewarded with 1x DR Voucher (1000) and 100 PvP rank points. All other duel winners receive a small number of PvP rank points.

Participation:
Any player from level 95 can participate. Every tournament is limited to max. 200 participants. Once the registration starts, you will find a corresponding entry in your quest log which you must accept to start.

Events
There’s a whole range of events to experience on the temporary servers:

Permanent Boosts

Make use of the time and level up as much as you can! Things happen fast in this event – speak with the NPC Uriel and get a hearty EXP Boost. The higher your level, the greater your EXP bonus!

Apprentice Chest

Beginners can also find Apprentice Chests on the temporary servers. The Weapons for Young Heroes quest will not be activated, however.

Battle Royale

Defeat your enemies in Battle Royale mode: on the temporary servers from Saturday at 4 PM to Tuesday at 4 PM CET – head into battle, climb the rankings and get more powerful items as a reward!

In Battle Royale, all participants automatically play the same class. You need to find your gear on the map to start off. The area shrinks over time until there’s only one winner left at the end.

Battle of the Five Shrines

Conquer shrines and defend them against the other two kingdoms from Tuesdays at 4 PM until Saturdays at 4 PM (CET). You can also get rewarded with weekly buffs and earn lots of rank points.

The access ticket ‘Call of the Shrines’ can be purchased for 50,000 Yang from the General Store Saleswoman and teleports you directly to the Isle of Mist.

Once the battle begins, all three kingdoms must fight for control of the five shrines:

In order to capture a shrine, it must first be destroyed.
The kingdom which has the most members nearby after 1 minute will capture the shrine.
After 3 minutes, the shrine will reappear in the colour of the kingdom which captured it.
The longer a shrine has been under control by the same kingdom, the harder it will be to destroy.
If a shrine remains in a kingdom’s possession until the end of the game, a 5-day buff is activated. Each shrine provides a different buff.
Only players who successfully took part in the battle will receive the buff.

The following buffs are available:

Shrine of Energy (energy buff): Increases energy by 2
Shrine of Fortune (item buff): Increases item drop rate by 10%
Shrine of Power (stats buff): Increases strength, intelligence, vitality and dexterity by 3
Shrine of Wealth (Yang buff): Increases Yang drop rate by 10%
Shrine of Illumination (bonus buff): Increases costume bonuses by 3%

Plentiful Loot
All boss monsters and Metins provide you special loot – defeat them, and with a little luck, you could pick up the valuable items.

You can also look forward to additional Superstone drops!

Strength of the Tiger
During the entire duration of when the temporary servers are open, Metins and bosses will drop the ‘Strength of the Tiger’ item which allows you to inflict 40% more PvE damage on the regular servers. The buff applies to your entire Metin2 account and lasts for 10 minutes once activated.

Additional Changes
After listening to the feedback we got from the community we decided to make some changes. Now, the first Inventory page will also be transferred when the 2nd challenge has been completed.

In additional to the events that were already announced we will active Soul Event on 27.12.2021 until the end of the server.

In this brand new event, you’ll face four devilish trials – enter the Otherworld where only the bravest heroes from the three kingdoms need apply! A hellish challenge awaits you, at the end of which, the final boss Asmodeus must be conquered. Along the way you can earn unique rewards like the Phoenix of Redemption which collects your loot for you or the mighty Damnation Shield!

How to Play

The event consists of 2 phases: in the first phase you can get items you need for the second phase. At the end of this phase, the Otherworld Portal becomes available and you can journey through to the other side – this is the jumping-off point for the second phase: face the four emissaries so you can confront Asmodeus.

We will repeat each game phase during the event so each player has enough of a chance at battling against Asmodeus:

Event: Catch the King

Catch the King is back – this time exclusively on our new servers Amber, Lyncirium, Kehribar and Jantar (Янтарь)!

The exciting card game will test your little grey cells, offering rewards for your skill in the form of valuable Bronze, Silver and Golden King’s Loot. Hunt down monsters to collect King Cards, or pick up the Card Packs in the item shop – get started straight away!

Starts: 11th November 2021 at 10:00 AM (CET)
King Card drops end: 25th November 2021 at 11:59 PM (CET)
Event ends: 26th November 2021 at 11:59 PM (CET)

Starting the Game
Hunt down monsters to collect King Cards. Together 25 King Cards make up a King Deck, with which you can play a game of Catch the King. The Card Packs in the item shop also contain lots of King Cards.

Aim of the Game
Reveal as many cards as possible and collect points. Catch the king in one go on the very last move to pick up 100 points at once. If you earn at least 10 points, you can redeem a prize at the end of the game.

You can wager up to 5 King Decks each time you play, earning the same number of chests in reward. Please note: The number of cards you play with is fixed; it is not influenced by the number of decks you wager. Once the game has started, you cannot reclaim the King Decks you have wagered.

How to Play

You always start with the lowest card. An arrow indicates which card can be selected.
By clicking on the card it will appear in the ‘My Card’ slot. In subsequent turns, cards of the same value will be moved automatically.
Turn over any face-down card on the game board and compare it to your own.
If your card is greater, you will receive points equal to the value of the revealed card and you can turn over another card on the board.
If the cards are the same value, you receive the points and your turn is over. Play continues with a new card from your deck.
If your card’s value is lower, you don’t receive any points. Your turn is over and play continues with a new card.
If your card is a 5 and there is a face-down 5 neighbouring the card you reveal, your card will be captured. Your turn is over and you don’t receive any points.
If your card is the king (K) and you catch the king on the board in exactly one move, you receive 100 points. The game ends after this move.
Bingo! If you reveal all cards in a row, you receive 10 extra points.
If you’ve earned at least 10 points, you can collect your prize by clicking on ‘Your Reward’.

Note

More King Decks may be found among the King’s Loot. Make sure to open the prize before the end of the event, as all King Cards and Decks will then disappear and you’ll come away empty-handed.
If you log out or leave the map while playing Catch the King, you’ll forfeit your reward.

Win Valuable Chests in the Okey Event!

From 10/8/2021 (midnight CEST) to 2/9/2021 (11:59 PM CEST) you have the chance to play our minigame based off the Turkish game *Okey*. Before you can start, you have to put together a card set. Then, with some luck and smart moves, you can earn points to receive valuable prizes.

But that’s not all! Because we have a Tombola with fantastic prizes, scary shop offers and a whole lot more waiting for you.

The Okey Game
Defeat monsters to receive cards. Once you’ve collected and stacked 24 okey cards, you automatically receive an Okey Card Set and can start playing. Before you start a game, make sure you have a set and also 30,000 Yang.

The aim of the game is to create a combination of sets and runs:

A set consists of cards of the same value (e.g. 7, 7, 7). The lower the cards’ values, the fewer points you receive for it.
A run consists of at least three cards with consecutive numbers (e.g. 6, 7, 8). The lower the cards’ values, the fewer points you receive for it. Runs of the same colour earn you more points than runs of several colours.

Prizes
After finishing a game, your prizes are delivered directly to your inventory. The chests contain high-quality and useful items for your hero – for example: the Ring of Deadly Power, Cor Draconis (Mystical) and many more!

Highscore
You want to be known as a winner? Then try to beat the highscore! This gives you the chance to win more chests. You can check the highscore at the Okey Table. The prizes for achieving the highscore can then be collected after the end of the event:

For 1st place you receive 10x Golden Okey Chest.
For 2nd place you receive 5x Golden Okey Chest.
For 3rd place you receive 3x Golden Okey Chest.
4th to 10th place receive 1x Golden Okey Chest.

Game Instructions
1. Left-click on the stack of cards to uncover the first 5 cards.
2. Earn points by selecting 3 cards. (Please note: Left-click = select card, right-click = permanently discard card)
3. The more points you have earned by the end of the game, the bigger your prize.

Note
1. You can interrupt your game at any time by pressing the “ESC” or “X” key. Changing maps or teleporting will end the current game!
2. A discarded card cannot be restored, so decide wisely!
3. A cancelled game will not be refunded! Decide whether the location of the game is right in advance.
4. The Okey Table will disappear from the game 7 days after the end of the event. Until then you can have a look at the contents of the Okey Chests. Rewards that are not picked up will expire and will not be refunded.

It’s time to join forces and explore the world together – we’re merging servers and bringing Metin2’s players even closer. Meet new allies and discover fresh rivals!

The server merge will take place on 30th June 2021.

Server Merge
The following servers are being merged:

Bałtyk + Polyphemos → Polyphemos (Eastern European Cluster)
Sol + Azrael → Azrael (Western European Cluster)
Şems + Dolunay → Bagjanamu (Turkish Cluster)

After the merge maintenance, you can decide for yourself when you want to proceed with your merge. As soon as you log in the first time, you’ll automatically be placed in the queue to be merged.

#### Changes to the Servers

Eastern Europe
The Bałtyk server will become a world boss server due to the merge with Polyphemos. Bałtyk players can expect the following changes:

The Soul Event will be activated after the merge.
The Ritual of Blood event will be deactivated.
More Polyphemos events will be playable.
Battle Royale game mode and the Battle of the Five Shrines event will be activated.

Western Europe

The Sol server will become a world boss server due to the merge with Azrael. Sol players can expect the following changes:

The Weapons for Young Heroes quest will be activated.
The Ritual of Blood event will be deactivated.
The Soul Event will be activated after the merge.
More Azrael events will be playable.
Azrael evening game time will be used.
Battle Royale game mode and the Battle of the Five Shrines event will be activated.

Turkey
The Şems and Dolunay servers are being merged and gameplay continued on the Bagjanamu world boss server, so players who have been moved can expect the following changes:

The Weapons for Young Heroes quest will be activated.
The Ritual of Blood event will be deactivated.
The Soul Event will be activated after the merge.
More Bagjanamu events will be playable.
Battle Royale game mode and the Battle of the Five Shrines event will be activated.

Changes to Globetrotter Tickets
One week after the server merge (on 7th July 2021) all Globetrotter Ticket prices will be adjusted.
