Hello Miners,
It is time to don those sunglasses because the lanterns are shining and the party has started. Management considered temporarily shutting down the air-conditioning units to set the stage for this one, but then remembered they had never installed any.
We hope you will enjoy the next two weeks of the traditional Space Beach Party.
In case you missed the preview, you can hunt for another batch of lost floaties in the mines to earn a Double Performance Pass Point Bonus. Complete this year's work assignment to get your hands on the new Tactical Turtle hat in the Mission Terminal. Or, in case you failed to do so previously, get your hands on all the hats from the previous years.
Whether it’s hunting for lost floaties in the mines, wrapping up those hat-rewarding assignments, or simply enjoying cool drinks on the questionable sandy beaches of the Space Rig, we hope you have a grand time.

Hello Miners,
This small patch is to prepare for the Space Beach Party 2026 event
Hello Miners, Those of you who are fresh back from the Magma Core might not notice, but summer is here, and it brought the heat. It also means the annual Space Beach Party is just around the corner! So we’re here to take a quick peek at what’s coming. This year’s event starts on
Hello Miners,
Those of you who are fresh back from the Magma Core might not notice, but summer is here, and it brought the heat. It also means the annual Space Beach Party is just around the corner! So we’re here to take a quick peek at what’s coming.
This year’s event starts on Thursday, August 6th at 13.00 CEST and runs for two weeks.
Because one can never have too many inflatables
Why get extra vacation days for your hard work when you can get hats, you ask? We hear you. That’s why you can get your hands on the new Tactical Turtle hat by completing the assignment associated with this year's Space Beach Party from the Mission Terminal. Nicknamed Shelly the Shellmet, we’re sure this sturdy companion will help protect you from Glyphid bites.
Season event and Double XP
While DRG manages to pull off year-after-year performance improvements, the same cannot be said about certain other companies. In a show of unfounded trust, DRG has once again tasked Longbeard Freight with providing you with some well-deserved pool floaties. Unfortunately, the unthinkable has happened. They fumbled the load.
Somehow, the trajectory of this year’s delivery of pool floaties missed the docking entrance and bounced onwards towards Hoxxes. If you want your floaties, you’ll have to go get them yourselves. Longbeard Freight blames the recently-attached Resinite Mass containers blocking the entrance to the Space Rig’s loading dock. DRG blames Longbeard Freight for inebriated pilots. Both parties signed an agreement, agreeing to disagree on the matter.
Locate the lost pool floaties and make sure to deposit them while down there. As a sign of gratitude, Management will reward you and your team with a Double Performance Pass Point Bonus.
Hats have no expiration date
For those of you too busy mining Morkite to fly more kites during our previous years’ celebrations, fret not. Management applauds your focus and drive as long as it remains profitable. Complete one work assignment, and you will be rewarded with all the previous Beach Party hats for your collection.
Bringing the vibes so that you don’t have to
No party without decorations. Directly imported from Sandblasted Corridors, Management is thrilled to showcase a cost-friendly alternative to sunny beaches on the Space Rig. Colorful lanterns, fake palms, and beach inflatables have been dusted off and can once again be found in the Space Rig, all there to give you a nice feeling of vacation while being at work.
That about wraps it up.
See you all on August 6th at 13:00 CEST for the 2026 Space Beach Party!

Hello Miners,
We’ve got a critical situation on our hands.
An enormous electromagnetic pulse has just erupted at the core of Hoxxes IV, sending ripples throughout the entire planet. It’s brought all our deep-level Expenite extraction operations offline — we’ve lost contact entirely. If that wasn’t bad enough, we’re seeing a spike in Core Stone encounters, and the lethal Core Spawn that come with them. Emergency Action Protocol ‘Minefall’ is in effect.
It’s time for Operation ROGUE CORE. Management has dispatched an elite squad of Reclaimers to the depths of Hoxxes to breach and secure the mine sites that have gone offline. But while the Reclaimers are deployed near the core, we need your help to ensure your own work sites stay operational.
Management is seeking volunteers to assist in the new ‘Reclaimer Collaboration Initiative,’ where mining crews help support our brave Reclaimers in mitigating this crisis.
This is more than a matter of life and death. Company profits are at stake here.
This is a time-limited special event in celebration of the Early Access launch of Rogue Core. It will be live in Deep Rock Galactic starting on Wednesday, May 6th and it will run for a whole two months, ending on Thursday, July 9th.
THE ASSIGNMENT: Four missions. In each one, you must close Core Rifts to prevent further disruptions in the cave system. These missions will be flagged with the new ‘Core Corruption’ warning, meaning you can expect to encounter increased Core Spawn resistance, even if you don’t come across a Core Stone.
THE REWARD: Completing this entire assignment will unlock all the components for the standard-issue Reclaimer Combat Pickaxe. Some steps of the assignment will reward more than one component. You can mix and match these pickaxe parts with all the rest, of course — or run the complete set to honor our brave Reclaimers deployed further down.
Like we mentioned above, this event is one of our few time-limited assignments — so you'll need to complete it by the time the event ends to snag the striking combat axe of the Company’s finest!
Even though Rogue Core is only planned for PC Early Access at the moment, this special event will be available on console versions of Deep Rock Galactic as well. It'll go live up to two weeks later, pending console-specific certification processes.
ROGUE CORE: Launching to Early Access on May 20th
A lot of you have been following Rogue Core’s development for a while, and the release date is almost here — it’s launching to Early Access here on Steam in just two weeks!
If you're just hearing about Rogue Core now, here's what you need to know:
It's a spinoff of Deep Rock Galactic. We've expanded the world of DRG into the perspective of the Reclaimers, the Company's elite in-house security force. You'll be able to play as five all-new classes, each with their own special skills and fancy gadgets.
It's faster-paced and more intense. You'll need to stay on your toes and keep your head on a swivel. Combat is more frequent and the game is tougher — but failing a mission isn't quite the setback as it is in DRG.
It's a co-op roguelike. Rogue Core explores DRG's 1-4 player co-op gameplay in a roguelike format: this means you'll gather a new set of weapons and upgrades each mission, snowballing into powerful builds and elemental synergies.
Rogue Core takes place in the same world and timeline as Deep Rock Galactic, but deeper down near the core of Hoxxes IV. You’ll step into the boots of the elite Reclaimers, and fight your way through hordes of Core Spawn abominations in fast-paced special ops missions to secure infested mining facilities.
We'll see you down in the mines — and we salute every miner who pitches in and does their part to support our brave Reclaimers in their fight to take back Hoxxes. Rock and Stone, miners!

Hello Miners,
We're pleased to announce The Great Egg Hunt 2026 is now live in Deep Rock Galactic! The event will run until April 14, at 13.00 CEST, where the colleggtion of pastel-colored content hops back into the void of not-currently-active seasonal events.

Hello Miners,
Eggcelent news, your favorite egg-celebration is returning to your favorite workplace! That's right, The Great Egg Hunt returns to Deep Rock Galactic on Tuesday, March 31, 13.00 CEST, along with both work opportunities and additions to your fashion stash. It's time to get eggstatic, here's a preview what's coming in The Great Egg Hunt 2026.
Force of Rabbit
Putting the hop in hops (and then using those hops to make beer)! Continuing the trend of animal-themed masks, we got the most eggstraordinary addition to your wardrobe this year. Complete The Great Egg Hunt 2026 to acquire the Egg Procurement Specialist headwear.
Eggstra Work -> Eggstra Hats!
If you missed out on any of the previous Egg Hunts, do not worry! Here's an eggcellent opportunity to acquire all the previous Egg Hunt hats. Complete the Last Year's Spring Fashion assignment, and all of these eggsquisite pieces of headwear will be yours.
Wanted: Adorable bunnies, dead or alive
Management has decided to temporarily try out a new delivery provider, and you're not gonna believe it, but they somehow lost a giant shipment of Mechanical Spring Bunnies all over Hoxxes IV.
Help the Company recover the bunnies, and get rewarded by Double Performance Pass Bonus for each mission where you find and deposit a bunny. They'll try to flee, so you may need to knock them out in order to succeed.
Pastel Party Space Rig
Management has decided to allocate a budget to the spring festivities, including decorative eggs, cute bunny garlands, pastel colored lights, and a healthy amount of inflatable carrots (not healthy to consume, though, so please don't eat them).
The event will last two weeks and conclude on April 14, at 13.00 CEST.
An expansion is coming to DRG: Survivor, featuring a new class! Yes, you heard that right, the Demolisher class is coming to DRG: Survivor! Read more about the expansion and the new class right here on Steam:

DRG Regional Pricing Adjustments:
After the current Steam Spring Sale concludes, regional pricing will be updated for DRG and DRG’s cosmetic packs. This means that while the price of DRG in EUR and USD will remain the same, it will increase in some regions based on Steam’s regional pricing suggestions.
You can still take advantage of the current price (combined with the current Steam sale’s 70% discount) until the Steam Spring Sale ends on March 26 at 18:00 CET.
If you already own DRG and all DLC, this will not affect you.

Hello Miners,
We're nearing Eight Years in Orbit, which means it's time for another mandatory work social!.
The past eight years have seen record profits for the Deep Rock Galactic Corporation, thanks in no small part to your hard work in the mines. We can only imagine what the earnings reports will look like years from now, when you’re nearing the end of your standard 30-year contracts. We like to think of this company as a family, and you are our valued, situationally expendable family members.
In order to properly applaud and appreciate your efforts, we'll be hosting a Company Party!
The 'Eight Years in Orbit' Party is going live next week on Tuesday, March 3rd at 13.00 CET. We believe you are capable of both intense drinking and intense mining, so we'll keep the celebration going for two entire weeks. Here’s a preview of this year’s anniversary celebration:
Exclusive Hat - Limited Availability!
"To infinity and beyond!" is what we'd say if the hat was turned sideways. Featuring genuine gold plating and teeny pickaxes, this is the ultimate headwear for any hard-working dwarf looking to showcase their dedication to the Company. A team from R+D’s Future Concepts Division spent the past eight years working on a name for this hat, and they came up with ‘Party Hat - Year Eight’! You can acquire this beauty by completing the associated assignment. Please note that this is a rare instance of a time-limited exclusive hat, so be sure to get it completed before the event ends. In other words, get to work!
Double Up on Performance Pass Bonus
The anniversary is making us feel generous (don’t worry, we’ve already booked an appointment with a specialist), so how about a Double Performance Pass Bonus? If you spot a hidden Year 8 Anniversary Trophy in the caves, dig it out, deposit it and get your bonus! Be aware that you may need to use the scanner to locate it.
Free beer?!
What could possibly go wrong when mixing dangerous levels of alcohol with dangerous levels of hostile aliens? Management is confident that this incentive will lead to an increase both in morale, and profit. You'll be able to drink Oily Oaf Brew, Glyphid Slammer and Leaf Lover’s Special* for free throughout the event!
*Management will not be held responsible for any pointy-eared name-calling resulting from consuming this beverage.
A dance floor for the smooth operators
If you've been longing for a gilded marble dance floor, you're in luck! We've decked out the Space Rig with confetti, balloons, and decorative drinks to create an atmosphere in which you hopefully will be motivated to work hard and play hard.

Every anniversary celebration comes with a livestream, and we're keeping up the tradition! Join us on Twitch or YouTube right after the event launches on Tuesday, March 3rd at 13:00 CET for a fun stream with special guests!

Hello Miners,
"New year, new me", they say, and Management will approve, if "new me" is even more focused on the work done. Speaking of that, Management is pleased to see so many employees completing their new assignments in the Ossuary Depths!
Anyway, a new year also brings a new Lunar Festival in Deep Rock Galactic, and this year, we're galloping into the Year of the Horse. This year's Lunar Festival goes live in DRG on Tuesday, February 17th at 13.00 CET, and it'll last until March 3rd, 13.00 CET. Here's what's included int he event, straight from the horse's mouth.
Time to start horsing around!
The Company has decided to reward the most stable workers with a new headpiece, the Staggering Stallion. Any dwarf, who completes the Lunar Festival 2026 work assignment, will receive this whimsical addition to their wardrobe. As an extra incentive, the assignment will also unlock the Peerless Warrior, a shiny gold-horse-tiara for the ponys, bronys and Rock and Stone-y's.
Legacy Lunar Looks
We got a note from R&D that their experiments to turn old hats into lethal weaponry has not yet yielded successful results, so management has generously decided to hand these out to employees instead.
Grab all the previous Lunar Festival hats and headwear by completing the Last Year's Blessings assignment. They come with same-minute shipping, the moment you complete your assignment, because that's how efficiently the Company runs.
Furlong-lost Treasure
A cargo ship transporting rare golden horse statues had an unfortunate unplanned rapid disassembly when it hit a stray meteorite. We thought the cargo had gone to the knackers, but we've gotten reports it's been dropped across Hoxxes IV. The Company will get a hefty finder's fee for any of these, so any team recovering a Golden Horse Statue will be awarded with Double Performance Point Bonus. Fortunately, they glow in the dark!
Firecrackers are back on the menu
We've decorated the Space Rig with firecrackers, lamps, banners, and Space Persimmons. And while we said "back on the menu", we'd like to emphasize, that the firecrackers are not edible! So stop by the Abyss Bar and enjoy the festivities.

Hello Miners,
In just a few short days, we will redefine the concept of sports.
This happens, of course, at the grand finale of the 2026 Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor - Ultimate Challenge Invitationals. In front of a live audience at Copenhagen Gaming Week (and around the world via Twitch and Youtube), we’ll witness Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor at its absolute maximum difficulty, as contestants face a custom build tailor-made to be more punishing than anything we’ve ever seen.
It will be, in no uncertain terms, the uncompromising pinnacle of athletic achievement, and a defining moment in sports entertainment.
On Thursday, February 12th, our brave contestants will compete on the world stage for the right to call themselves the Ultimate Survivor. On the line, of course, is the coveted Heavyweight Championship title belt — and there’s only one room for one champion.
Last week’s quarterfinals saw three contestants eliminated over three breakneck blitz matches, leaving us four finalists to compete at the championship.
In case you missed out on all the action so far, you can catch up on everything that happened by watching the recording of the Quarterfinals right down below.
If you’re in Copenhagen, you can be part of the live audience at Copenhagen Gaming Week to witness the historic grand finale. But otherwise, you can tune in to witness sporting history on Twitch and Youtube. We’ll see you in just a few days at the finals.
Just remember: If you can’t take the heat, you can’t beat the bricks.

Hello Miners,
Welcome to SEASON 06 - RELICS OF HOXXES! New discoveries on Hoxxes require your urgent attention. You’re delving into a brand new planetary region, pursuing new riches, and facing off those who might stand in the Company’s way.
Season 06 is live right this minute here on Steam, and it’ll come to consoles in about two weeks. As always, this small delay is because of console-specific certification processes.
Let’s take a look at the new season!
Technical note: Steam's video embedding feature is still uncooperative for some people, it seems. If you don't see a clickable video right below this text, there should be a small hyperlink instead.
The Company has detected a new material that was recently unearthed by a series of planetwide tectonic shifts. Huge deposits of Resinite have been discovered all over Hoxxes.
Delve underground, seek out the Resinite Masses, dig them free, and extract them via the lift rockets we send down to assist in the endeavor. We’ve got no equipment to triangulate the exact location of Resinite Masses, so keep your eyes peeled for great amber chunks sticking out of the ground.
As always, Management recommends familiarizing yourself with the mission details in the Miner’s Manual aboard the Space Rig. Good luck down there!
NEW BIOME: OSSUARY DEPTHS
A new planetary region has been discovered, and management has approved the Ossuary Depths for extraction operations. This gloomy new biome is home to a grim collection of skeletal remains gathered from all over Hoxxes.
And among these dusty bones lives a new threat: The Ossirans.
THREE NEW ENEMIES
OSSIRAN SCRAB: This winged menace is capable of swarming you from above and below. It’s an agile threat when flying through the air, and its thick outer shell allows it to put up a strong defense when grounded. Your best bet is to deal damage when it's airborne.
OSSIRAN PIT JAW: This larger variant of Ossiran lies in wait just below the surface, ready to ambush any dwarf that wanders too close. Its jaws are strong enough to incapacitate, and it’ll take a good chunk out of your health if it catches you. It may let you go, especially if provided with sufficient incentive from your allies, but be warned - once its cover is blown, the Pit Jaw will relocate to set up another ambush nearby.
OSSIRAN BONE COLLECTOR: Lacking any offensive capabilities, the Bone Collector will flee when confronted by a heavily armed dwarf. Should you encounter it, give it a fright and keep an eye on where it runs off to…
SEASON EVENT: OSSIUM RAID
Ossiran Bone Collectors have been spotted all over Hoxxes. You’ll know them by their distinct blue glow and scurrying movements (no, it’s not Scout). The Bone Collectors are harmless, and will run off when threatened (wait is it Scout?). Once they do, follow their trail through the caves until you reach their lair. Digging through a thin layer of dirt, you’ll find a secret trove of Ossium gems, a unique and valuable byproduct of the Ossirans’ bone collections.
Be aware: Disturbing the Ossium gems will alert nearby nesting Scrabs, so be careful when raiding these Ossium troves.
NEW DEEP DIVE SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: HEAVY EXTRACTION
The aforementioned tectonic tremors have caused Resinite Mass deposits to appear throughout the caves of Hoxxes. Now you may encounter them in any biome during Deep Dive operations. In this case, you you know what to do: Find the Resinite Mass, dig it free, and extract it using the provided lift rockets. Then carry on with your main objective.
NEW MISSION WARNINGS
SCRAB NESTING GROUNDS: Swarms of Scrabs have settled in caves all over Hoxxes. Expect a steady influx of Scrab hostiles, and try to steer clear of their nests.
PIT JAW COLONY: Reports have come in of migratory groups of Pit Jaws spotted both within and beyond the Ossuary Depths. Watch your step on any mission where this warning is active.
NEW PERFORMANCE PASS
Season 06 comes with a brand new Performance Pass loaded with new cosmetics, mineral bundles and an all-new weapon framework, Diesel Driven, to earn through good old hard work.
As always, the Performance Pass (and all other Season 06 content) is completely free, and you can always switch back to progress in other seasons' Performance Passes whenever you want.
NEW DANCE MOVES
We’ve taught the dwarves another 2 new dance moves:
Get groovy with The Disco Finger.
Or showcase your elastic appendages with The Arm Wave.
Dance moves are to be used responsibly at the Abyss Bar dance floor only.
NEW WEAPON MAINTENANCE PAINT JOBS
We’re expanding the Weapon Maintenance reward system with a new paint job to earn: WM 6.1 ‘Crimson Call’. It’s red.
NEW DLC: THE RELIC RAIDER PACK
Join the Relic Raiders: Deep Rock Galactic’s daring division of combat archaeologists. If antiquities turn up at a dig site, it’s the Raiders who get sent in to catalog, appraise and extract the goods. They’re a bit old school, sure – but so is their line of work.
Whoever said “It belongs in a museum!” clearly didn’t know how much this stuff sells for.

Hello Miners,
Just two weeks until we breach the Ossuary Depths for all the perils and profits of Season 06. “Relics of Hoxxes” goes live on Steam on Thursday, January 29th (and coming to consoles around two weeks after), bringing a new biome, new mission, new enemies, loads of rewards, and more to the work site.
But don’t just take it from us – here’s Mission Control to walk you through everything in the official Season 06 Narrated Trailer. The full write-up is right down below.
Technical note: Steam's video embedding feature is still uncooperative for some people, it seems. If you don't see a clickable video right below this text, there should be a small hyperlink instead.
“...the striking column formations give these caverns the appearance of a great cathedral, though the bones amassed here might suggest this place is more of a burial catacomb. In light of this possibility, as well as observed hostilities from local fauna, we urge company management to avoid this ‘boneyard’ for any future mining operations.”
-Excerpt from a report by the DRG Planetary Surveys Department
While some mothballed old documents in the company archives make mention of the Ossuary Depths, the fabled “boneyard” was overlooked for many years. Management considered it a recording error, the product of a careless and overly-cautious company surveyor.
But thanks to recent Deep Scan operations, we’ve uncovered some blind spots on our planetary profile, and discovered an area that precisely matches these early descriptions of the “Boneyard of Hoxxes.” Except the stuff about it being dangerous or sacred. We looked into that and it’s not true.
So prepare yourselves for deployment: Deep Rock Galactic is preparing all mining teams to initiate extraction in the Ossuary Depths.
The Ossuary Depths was once in near-total isolation from the rest of Hoxxes, but our initial scouting operations have opened up enough tunnels that all the usual hostile creatures of Hoxxes have found their way down here.
You’ll also have to contend with the native species of the Depths: the Ossirans. We’ll get to them a bit later.
New mission: HEAVY EXTRACTION
We’re not down here on a sightseeing trip. There’s a new work order on the docket.
As a result of the tectonic disturbances (allegedly) connected to our Deep Scan operations, priceless clusters of Resinite Mass have been pushed closer toward the surface. R+D reckons these ancient relics may give us deeper insights into Hoxxes IV’s natural history, but failing that, they’re worth a king’s ransom to the right buyer. So we need you to dig ‘em up.
Your first step is to locate and excavate Resinite Mass in your work site. You don’t need any fancy equipment to find them beyond a good old fashioned pair of eyeballs. They ought to glimmer a bit if you look carefully.
Once found, it’s time to roll up your sleeves. Use your pickaxes to dig out the surrounding area in order to make space for extraction. If you’ve got a Driller on your team, they'll feel extra special during this part. If you don’t, you’ll wish you did.
Finally, it’s time for extraction! Mission Control will send down a Lift Pod containing four heavy lift rockets. Fix the rockets to the Resinite Mass, then keep your beards clear of the launch zone as the lasers carve a path upwards for orbital extraction.
It’s a straightforward job, honest work for an honest dwarf. Any injuries related to the lasers fall under the “Laser-Based Maiming Liability Exemptions” section in your contract.
Enemy classification: THE OSSIRANS
During your work down in the Depths, you can expect to be interrupted by the local inhabitants: the Ossirans. As it turns out, they don’t appreciate the new mining operations we’re conducting in their home.
The Ossirans thrive on collecting the countless bones that give the Ossuary Depths its name. Our files indicate they were once a relatively docile scavenger species, but recent intrusions have stirred them into a frenzy. When you deploy to the Ossuary Depths, you'll need to keep a keen eye peeled for these new threats.
Ossiran Scrab
THE SCRAB: These flying scavengers work in swarms, scouring the Ossuary Depths in search of any bit of meat left on the countless bones cluttering the caves. A single Scrab is an annoyance, but a handful of them can spell disaster for a mining team. Their armored wings protect a squishy thorax underneath, so target them when they’re airborne for extra damage. And take care not to disturb their hives – the last dwarf to do so lived just long enough to see what his own skeleton looked like.
Ossiran Pit Jaw
THE PIT JAW: A larger, deadlier, more patient cousin of the Scrab. It’s a predator with a recently-acquired taste for dwarf. With a massive four-pronged jaw, it burrows into the cave floor, waiting to spring up like a bear trap to catch its prey. If you’re lucky, you might just see the tips of its jaws poking through the dirt before it’s too late. Essentially, it’s a cave leech in the floor.
Oh, and as if things couldn't get worse: this sneaky rascal has found its way into other biomes of Hoxxes, too. If you come across the new Pit Jaw Colony Mutator, make sure to watch your step. Good luck!
Seasonal event: OSSIUM RAID
While the Ossirans pose an undeniable threat to our workforce, they also present a rather significant profit opportunity. As it turns out, they’re able to convert bone mass into crystalline Ossium, which is quite valuable thanks to its myriad applications in munitions and cosmetics manufacturing.
To collect Ossium, you’ll first need to find an Ossiran Bone Collector. This insectoid prospector serves as the warden of local caches of Ossium, and you’ll find it roving the caves of Hoxxes. It’s likely to flee if attacked – but if you follow it, it’ll lead you straight to a rich cache of Ossium.
Track it down by the telltale trail of Ossium shards and navigate through its labyrinthian tunnels, and you’ll arrive at its lair. From there, grab as much Ossium as you can and get it deposited in the M.U.L.E. for extraction. You might be wise to expect resistance, however. The Ossirans seem to be quite protective about their Ossium.
New S06 Performance Pass
An intriguing new internal study from R+D found that higher wages are directly correlated with increased worker performance. Unfortunately, higher wages are also directly correlated with increased payroll costs, so Management has decided to give you hats instead.
To incentivize all employees during the many exciting work opportunities of Season 06, we’re rolling out a brand new Performance Pass! Working your way through this new Performance Pass will unlock loads of shiny goodies, not least of which is the all-new Diesel Driven weapon framework.
The Season 06 Performance Pass and associated Progression Track are full of other cool goodies too. You'll be able to earn:
A dozen new hats
Flashy new facial hairs
New weapon paintjobs
New armor paintjobs
A new pickaxe set
An additional framework for our loyal friend Bosco
A couple new end-screen animations
And more!
Speaking of impressive performance, we’ve also added a new unlockable tier to the Weapon Maintenance system so you can properly show off your prowess. ‘WM6 CRIMSON CALL’ is soon available for all high-performing employees.
Fresh new moves for the dance floor
In their spare moments of free time, the dwarves have been very busy learning a couple cool new dance moves. They’re very excited to hit the floor and show them off. Gunner says he wishes he’d studied contemporary dance in school, but it’s far too late for that. Back to the mines, Gunner.
New DLC: the RELIC RAIDERS Pack
If you’re tromping through lost catacombs in search of treasure, you may as well look the part. That’s why we’re rolling out the all-new (or all-old?) Relic Raider DLC pack, to give your dwarves some seasoned vintage style down in the Ossuary Depths.
The Relic Raiders are Deep Rock Galactic’s daring division of combat archaeologists. If antiquities turn up at a dig site, it’s the Raiders who get sent in to catalog, appraise and extract the goods. They’re a bit old school, sure. But so is their line of work. Whoever said “It belongs in a museum!” clearly didn’t know how much this stuff sells for.
If you’d like to help playtest Season 06 as we prepare for the full release, you can already get your hands on it via the Experimental Branch, which goes live today. It’s experimental for a reason, of course, so you might expect a couple hiccups.
Here’s how to access the Experimental Branch:
In your Steam library, right-click on ‘Deep Rock Galactic’, then select ‘Properties.’
Go to the ‘Betas’ tab and select the one called “experimental - Latest dev build - enter at own risk”.
Steam will then update your game, and when you launch Deep Rock Galactic it will be in this Experimental mode. To switch back, select the “Default” branch under ‘Betas’.
You can find more information in the DRG Discord about bug reporting, discussions and changelogs for the Experimental Branch. Keep in mind that your progress will not be saved in the Experimental Branch, and this branch will only be open for a limited time.
Some QoL and bugfixes
Season 06 will also come with some minor QoL improvements and the usual bucket of bugfixes, but we’ll post these in the patch notes when it all goes live. Stay tuned.
That’s it! Check your equipment, limber up, and get ready to venture back into the depths on January 29th when SEASON 06: RELICS OF HOXXES comes to a computer near you.

Hello Miners,
We hope everyone’s having a mineral-rich start to 2026. What a number! And you know what else ends in 6? Season 06. Speaking of which, we’ve got news.
We’re here to share the official Season 06 key art and reveal the release date, though some of you keen-eyed miners already figured it out from the cluess we teased earlier this week. Congratulations! And now, drum roll:
Season 06: RELICS OF HOXXES is coming to Steam in just a few weeks, on January 29th, 2026. It’ll hit consoles about 2 weeks after that.
In Season 06, we’re digging into the ancient past, down among the dusty bones of the new Ossuary Depths biome.
But we’re not going down in this gloomy old sepulchre for some memento mori nonsense – we’re here to get rich. Well, to make the Company rich. Same thing. The new Heavy Excavation mission puts you in pursuit of priceless Resinite Mass deposits, which we’ll need dug up and sent spacewards as fast as you can muster. But keep your guns close at hand: in addition to the usual swarms of Glyphids, you’ll be going toe-to-toe with the Ossiran enemies and their nasty new tricks.
More details on all that coming next week. Just mark your calendars for now, because Management expects all employees fresh-faced and eager to work on January 29th.
