- Roads Taken was made by one developer working with an AI assistant (Anthropic's Claude). The assistant wrote most of the game's code under the developer's direction, including the code that draws the pixel art and composes the music, and it wrote the game's text together with the developer: the hand-written campaign, Wren's story, and the lines the generated stories are built from. Every part was directed, reviewed and chosen by the developer. The recorded instruments come from a freely licensed sound font.
