We have set some time aside from our Siegecraft work to complete some patches we feel were important to get out this year.
Players can now see the equipment changes made by others during combat. The newly equipped item names will float up in battle text, and full suit, pouch, and rune set swaps will be shown as well. This can give key insight into how players are functioning in arena without needing to constantly inspect them. It should shed some light on the intricacies involved in the highest levels of PvP. It will also make spectating the tournaments more entertaining.
Players can now see the runes of the player they are inspecting.
Battle text that is lengthy will have its font size reduced so it does not occlude other text.
The browser and mobile clients now have better support for transitioning between using touchscreens and a mouse. We have tested using bluetooth mice with smartphones and tablets and found it to be quite straightforward and easy. You can increase your Nodiatis gaming efficiency by simply adding a bluetooth mouse the same way you would add bluetooth earbuds. The only problem we found and were unable to resolve was that some versions of Android did not allow for mouse right clicks and have that button hard-coded to the back function. We did our testing with the Logitech Pebble M350, which worked well. We recommend only using name brands because any bluetooth or USB device you connect to your computer can potentially install a backdoor - even the things sold as USB data blockers which supposedly protect you. A new phrase "excessive HP regen bonus" is being used to replace previously vague HP regen threshold descriptors. Excessive HP regen bonus is caused by having modifiers that increase your combat HP regen bonus by over 50%. This measure of excessive HP regen is not affected by the Reg stat, nor the skills Combat Recovery, or Battle Mending - this is not a change. Now, however, it is also not affected by regen counters such as healing debuffs, Reapers Aura, and Listless. The effect of this is that Listless and other debuffs will not decrease the effectiveness of Flesheater pets, nor will Listless and other debuffs potentially make a target viable for Stave of Shielding procs that already had excessive HP regen bonus. When facing Flesheaters, Regeners may be forced to be more proactive in reducing their active HP regen bonus multipliers themselves.
Note also that the Listless Aura only works vs. targets with excessive HP regen bonus. This has always been the case, and will be added to the mouseover description.
The damage bonus curve for Flesheaters will remain roughly the same but will start at "excessive HP regen bonus" as opposed to previously which was extremely excessive HP regen. This is a minor buff that will help vs targets with HP regen bonus amounts in the 50% to 150% bonus area.

The Werecougar and Prowler now have an added passive ability that causes a 75% listless aura on their target on all successful attacks. Werecougar's CA now has a maximum damage potential of 12k instead of 10k.

A bug with woodcutting where your axe could start flying again prior to being fully reset in its position has been fixed.
An exploit was reported (TCs awarded) and fixed that allowed you to use tracking while in the arena stands. Note, you can still use tracking when actually fighting in the arena, as this is considered an arena participation perk, but tracking should not be possible from the stands.
Attacking beasts will no longer make you lose your PK immunity.

Although faster for players who are not in top end gear, statistics collected have shown that pilgrimages have been slightly slower for some since the treasure chest changes. To correct this we are increasing the bonus from Pilgrimage potions and the Pilgrim Chest Experience bonus will remain at 20% max even after Siegecraft is released. The 4/22 announcement has been updated to state this and reduce confusion. Also, treasure chests will now be easier to spot and will always spawn above the exit button. Forage plants will also be easier to see.

An issue with logoffs has also been fixed. Previously the game allowed you to log off immediately after combat, yet you wouldn't truly log off until 1 minute after combat (amount reduced by acceleration upgrades). Now you can't log off until that minute has expired, so you are gauranteed to be off when the countdown finishes. This is important for safety vs. PKs.

New items have been placed in some towns that allow the acquisition of companions.
Be careful. A PK could steal your roses, but not your expensive orchids because they are legendary.
There are 28 walking and 28 dancing companions currently available.
Chippie will go nuts to help you feed your pets.
Companion skills are as follows:
MOUNTED - You straddle your companion and encourage it to run in your special way. This reduces travel time by up to 50% at level 10. Effect enhanced when in PK mode (flashing red), reducing travel time by up to 60%
GOLDEN SCARAB - Your companion aids in searching for hidden gold. This provides up to a 10% chance at level 10 of turning a gold rush into a double gold rush.
MODEST DIVIDENDS - Your companion assists by gathering the dust from the corners every chest, increasing gold collected from non-rushes by up to 10% at level 10
SWORD SHEATH - Your companion gives you a place to put your pointy bits, decreasing the weight of all items in equipment slots by up to 50% at level 10
DUST MONGER - Your pet develops a keen sense of smell and uses it to distinguish the finest dusts. This provides up to a 25% chance at level 10 to increase the tier of any dust collected during resourcing.
WISE RUB - Your companion gives you a deep tissue scalp massage. This provides up to a 20% chance at level 10 to turn a double experience rush into a quad exp rush instead.
BLOODHOUND - Your companion gains the ability to pick up the most minute traces of scent. This aids in your ability to track, decreasing the time it takes by half at level 10.
ITEM FETCHING - Your companion seeks to please its master. It will bring to you any stack of items from your remote storage, taking from twenty minutes at level 1 to two minutes at level 10. Only companions who are capable of flying can learn this.
ITEM TRANSPORT - Your companion is your beast of burden. It will continually transport items from one storage location to another, taking as little as 1 minute per stack at level 10. Only companions who are capable of flying can learn this.
MASTER OF SHADOWS - Your companion aids you in being a slithery little sneaky snake, reducing the time it takes to log out after forcing PvP combat from thirty mins to twenty mins at level 10.
Dust Game
The dust collecting mini game has had the threshold for getting a +1 or +2 tier modifier based on moves lowered. Whereas before you needed 11 moves or less to get a +1 modifier, you now need 14. 10 moves will yield a +2 modifier. There are similar penalties for 17+ and 21+ moves. The modifier and move count is now displayed after successful collection for your viewing pleasure.
UI Improvements
Opening the Accomplishments and Companions window will let you know your total and the rank you have achieved due to it.
World coordinates are now shown on the paper map and in stored item descriptions.
Floating text for system messages will always appear if you cannot see chat so you don't miss important notifications.
Some combat colors have been changed to make them more distinguishable.
Fixed an issue with game controllers causing cursor flicker.
A /copyhotbar command has been added. Info in the FAQ.
An issue with the background not showing properly for auction has been fixed.
Fixed an issue with storage slots that made it difficult to tell if an item was in a storage slot you did not have access to due to skill limits.

We're finishing off 2016 with the completion of the 4th item from our most wanted list and some bonus content from other suggestions. You can see the list here http://forums.nodiatis.com/forums/showthread.php?p=186423#post186423 It has been updated for 2017 where we plan to get another 4 items completed.
Hot Zones
Every 2 days, after the 6am server time reset, bonuses and penalties will be assigned randomly to some zones. These bonuses and penalties will NOT be the same for everyone, however, they will be the same for all your own characters (assuming they are assigned to the same e-mail address). The reason for this is to encourage actual exploration and to reward those willing to do so themselves.
A hot zone is defined as a zone that currently has a bonus for you. The bonus may or may not be accompanied by a penalty, however, no zones will have just penalties and no bonus. Upon entering a hot zone you will receive additional information from the message that typically reads "You are entering..." detailing the exact bonuses and penalties. These will have various ranges (trapping, for instance, has a larger range since it is more difficult to utilize) which for the most part max at 10%. Towns can have bonuses as well, but they are currently limited to Adventuring and Active/Passive Experience bonuses.
Current possible bonuses include:
Double Hunting Chance
Double Fishing Chance
Double Trapping Chance
Double Woodcutting Chance
Double Mining Chance
Double Gardening Chance
Double Foraging Chance
Double Dust Collecting Chance
Double Gold Rush Chance
Double Trophy Stack Chance
Double Adventuring Exp Chance (town only)
Double Potion Stack Chance
Double Silk Stack Chance
Double Heroic Essence Chance
Active Exp Bonus (includes combat and crafting)
Passive Exp Bonus (includes all methods of passive advancement)
Luck Bonus (Don't ask us. Ask yourself, "Do I feel lucky?")
There will be no hot zone bonuses or penalties for players under level 5. It is an added complication that may increase the confusion of players, and they don't really have the mobility to choose what zone they farm in regardless.
Transmutation
The ability now exists to use enchanting to randomly morph LG Weapon, Pet, and Gem Masters. Doing so requires a costly resin, however, there is no chance of failure. You can also now morph Armor and Shield Essences. This also has no chance of failure, but yields far less than is put in. It will be up to players to figure out how to do this enchanting, however, it will be far easier to determine than the mystery of A Painful Cleansing.
Transmuting Weapon, Pet, and Gem LG Masters will produce a completely random type of LG Master, so a Pet can produce a Weapon, etc. Also, Gift Boxes can now contain LG Gem Masters whereas before they were limited to Weapons and Pets. The overall chance of getting an LG Master from a gift box remains the same, however.
A bug involving the leveling of Collection and Dust Collecting has been fixed.
