As anticipated in our roadmap, we are happy to reveal the newest track coming on DRIFTCE right now: Takuya!
Overcome your limits and burn your rubbers like never before, Takuya’s track will test your skills with new challenges and difficult maneuvers.
With this new update, we also made several adjustments and bug fixes. Let’s see together the full changelog:

A new track with challenges has been added
Improved navigation in the paint room scene
Graphical fixes in some car parts
Optimized and fixed graphical bugs on some tracks
Improvements to the shadow display have been made
The occasional steering wheel hardware-related crash has been fixed
Fixes for displaying elements on the UI

A new update for DriftCE is now live and with this one we bring new and improved supports to make your experience better and better.
Let’s see the patch notes together:

New force feedback that improves the behavior of the steering wheel in drift with additional customizable effects. (The option to select the previous ffb system remains in settings).
Support for "Moza Racing" steering wheels.
Improvements and bug fixes in the SteamDeck platform.
Full support for the SteamDeck platform.
Improvements in the game save system.
Minor bug fixes.
We hope these improvements and supports can make your drifting experience closer con closer to the competition you ever wanted.

Hotfix 1.4.1
A new hotfix is now available. Notes : Repaired and replaced libraries responsible for sending force feedback information to the steering wheels. Fixed a bug that did not save control type settings and switched them back to the keyboard. Thank you for your patience!

With this new update, lots of challenges will test your drifting abilities like never before. Prepare your engines, and burn the rubbers of your shining caravan ‘til the very end!
The Summer Trip Free Update also comes with fixes and improvements, let’s see the patch notes:

A new type of challenge: "Special Challenges".
New challenges have been added.
Additional car-mounted part for unlocking special challenges.
Improvements have been made to the challenge selection window.
Fixed problem which caused slow counting of drift points during gameplay.
Fixed bug in reading and handling incorrect data from the save file.

A new update is now available in DRIFT21 with a new car to try on the track. Get ready to welcome the iconic Toyota Corolla AE86 and new challenges to master!
Now you can test your skills drifting with a legendary car and customize it with new compatible parts added to the garage.
Below is a list of the new features we have added:

Added new car - 1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT with multiple tuning parts, quick race preset and unique liveries
Added garage challenges suited to 1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT
Added over 25 new track challenges
Added Elite Drift Series stickers - available in Paint Booth module
Added an invert look axis option - available in settings window
and some additional changes:

Changed the requirements for awarding the Gold Cup in Solo Run challenges. From now on it is required to complete all clipping zones to receive the gold trophy
Rebalanced existing challenges to better suit to changes in gold trophy requirements
Adjusted scroll speed settings in the paint booth module
Improved shading around rims and wheel arches

Advanced camera settings (available in the pause menu)

Gather your crews, it's time to drift together! We are happy to release the first version of the multiplayer mode, which will allow you to drift together on the courses of the EBISU complex.
The main goal while working on multiplayer mode was for us to create a place where players will have full control over the session and experience. That's why we decided on a model in which the practice mode acts as a kind of lobby.
Inside such a session, up to six players at once can move freely on the map, create tandems, accumulate drifting points, and talk on text chat. For those who want to "compete" we prepared a module called "events". Every player in the session will be able to join the event. For the time of the event, players who are not interested will not see these rivals and vice versa. At the moment, everyone has access to the simplest type, a kind of Free For All, in which players with the whole course at their disposal must compete with other players. The winner is the one who scores the most Drift Points within the set time. Of course, expect more event types. We are still working on them :)
Hosts of multiplayer sessions have full control over the session. We have put at their disposal several commands, which allow, among others, to:

Voting or forcing a map change
Voting or forcing the removal of a player
Host permissions transfer
Displaying and pinning messages
Resetting the position
Collision on/off
Hiding messages from individual/all players
Display or change session password
What else are we working on?

We are optimizing the performance of the game in multiplayer mode
We are working on implementing proper spectator mode
We are preparing new types of events
We are working on full support for the cars created in the garage
We improve user experience and support for different controllers in a multiplayer session

For the last few months, we have been working hard on the DRIFT21 multiplayer mode, and today we are ready to give you a chance to check the results of our work. Take into account that this is the first version of the multiplayer mode - there may still be some elements to refine.
For the last few months, we have been working hard on the DRIFT21 multiplayer mode, and today we are ready to give you a chance to check the results of our work. Take into account that this is the first version of the multiplayer mode - there may still be some elements to refine. We are still working on improving the multiplayer mode, e.g. we are working on full support for the cars created in the garage or preparing new types of events.
We care about your feedback and impressions. You can share them in the dedicated Steam Forum thread or on our Discord server on the #suggestions and #multiplayer-test-chat channels in the "Multiplayer Test Area". If you run into any problems and errors related to connecting to the game, performance, or gameplay itself, please let us know. We will try to help you and will also take your feedback into account in further development.
How to access the closed_beta branch:

Right-click on Drift21 in your Steam library and select "Properties".
Select the "BETAS" tab at the top of the properties window.
Enter the access code: YUy9pLYrGyDEQFDF, and click the "CHECK CODE" button.
Select "multiplayer" from the drop-down list.
Below you will find some additional information about the tests.

Collision on/off
Hiding messages from individual/all players
Display or change session password
Some of the commands are available only to the session host.
What do we want to achieve during these tests?
We are very interested in your opinion so we will accept any feedback :)

How do you rate the performance of the game in a multiplayer session? Does the game work worse in this mode?
How do you rate the synchronization in multiplayer sessions? Do you have any problems with lags?
Is there any functionality that you think is missing in multiplayer mode?
Is the state of Tandem (appearing in case of parallel drifting cars) clear to you? Maybe you need more visual clues?
What else are we working on?
