Dear GemBreak players. The major 1.2 update is now live. The game includes many new features like monsters with physics and AI, bugfixes and a couple of new levels. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you go to options and click "Reset Game" BUT only if you want to replay the entire game wi

The major 1.2 update is now live. The game includes many new features like monsters with physics and AI, bugfixes and a couple of new levels.
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you go to options and click "Reset Game"
BUT only if you want to replay the entire game with monsters and the highscore fix.
Please note that we have also decided to reset the highscores in the game, due to a bug where players could increase their scores by replaying levels WITHOUGHT getting a higher score than the last on that level.
This fix is now live, and will make sure that no one can cheat the highscore system in the future.
We are sorry for the inconvenience, but hope you will understand our decision.
We look forward to see who will be the top world players in GemBreak again!

We have some big changes coming to GemBreak in the next major update. We have decided to implement a whole new feature to the game. Monsters! Yes, it might sound weird? - but it will give players the opportunity to earn extra points by killing them on select levels. All the monst
We have some big changes coming to GemBreak in the next major update. We have decided to implement a whole new feature to the game. Monsters! Yes, it might sound weird? - but it will give players the opportunity to earn extra points by killing them on select levels. All the monsters are physics based, so you can even see them walking on slopes, and bricks. And they will fall down and die if you shoot the bricks they are standing or walking on (if they are not fast enough to move to another connected brick!
It brings a lot of fun to the game, and a whole new way to try and be on top of the highscore list.
Many bugfixes are also ready in the upcoming update, made from player suggestions and feedback in the GemBreak community.
And of course, the update will also contain new levels.

This update includes Achievements, several bugfixes, a new "windowed mode" option and the complete sountrack for the game created by Jon Skarin (Smaasten).
Bugfixes:
1. Level 90 bugfix (Red gems number corrected)
2. Minor bounce error on some levels
3. Online highscores optimization.
Soundtrack:
The soundtrack for GemBreak is now finished, and includes 23 absolutely awesome songs, created by the talented musician Jon Skarin.
Thats 8 new songs in the game!
