The Oxylane has been upgraded with a new function! (version 1.2)
Now you can stop your swing by pressing the node you're hanging from. This makes it easier for you to stay away from danger. Remember: safety first! We hope the swing brake will make your Oxylane ride even more pleasant. *Not available in hard difficulty mode.

Introducing difficulty levels (version 1.1)
We've been getting feedback that the game is too difficult. It was always our intention to make a family friendly game, but it seems we missed the mark. To remedy this we are adding difficulty levels to the game! When starting a new game you get to choose between Normal and Hard
Original postWe've been getting feedback that the game is too difficult. It was always our intention to make a family friendly game, but it seems we missed the mark. To remedy this we are adding difficulty levels to the game!
When starting a new game you get to choose between Normal and Hard difficulty. Choosing Hard will give you the same game as before, while choosing Normal will remove some of the difficulties and barriers which frustrate people.
Here are a few examples of how Normal difficulty differs from Hard:
- Some enemies and hazards are removed or simplified, allowing you to focus on the puzzles.
- Less itoms are required to open the boss doors.
- The bosses have less health.
This is the first update, which we wanted to publish as fast as possible. Balancing the difficulty for a wide range of people is challenging and we intend to continue working until we get it right. We're currently discussing if and how to allow difficulty to be switched for an already started save slot. If you have any opinions on this matter, please leave a comment.
