Announcing an exciting new project. Vertigo Remastered is a full overhaul of Vertigo 1, being developed side-by-side with its sequel. Have a complaint about Vertigo? It's likely being fixed in the remaster. Vertigo Remastered includes new mechanics from Vertigo 2 such as a physics based interaction system, but you'll also be getting some design changes like updated level design, new puzzles and enemy types, and improved bosses.
Small update to Soundtrack DLC. Added metadata, added new tracks, removed tracks that weren't actually part of Vertigo (lol). The soundtrack will also arrive on all major stores and streaming services within the next week or so! Woo!

Hello everyone! I've just released a small update with some minor changes and bug fixes. The biggest one was fixing the notorious blinding table in exobiology, which was due to an obscure rendering bug. Thanks for your patience, and happy playing.

Hey everyone! The youtuber Tribalinstincs is doing a charity stream to support hurricane victims, and among almost 250 keys being given away are 30 free copies of Vertigo. Head over and support him and his great cause!

I managed to push that update with a giant bug. The game doesn't save your progress. It's now fixed, but if you lost a bunch of progress just reply here and I'll make you a savegame with your lost progress. Sorry sorry sorry sorry

Hello. Been a while. As I said, Vertigo is not dead. The most annoying bugs that people have been having have all been solved, as well as lots of minor things and performance tweaks. To celebrate this update, Vertigo will be 33% off this whole weekend, starting tomorrow at 10:00

To celebrate this update, Vertigo will be 33% off this whole weekend, starting tomorrow at 10:00 PST.
Changes (at least the ones I can remember because I'm a disorganized mess):
Removed annoying white on edges of view in certain scenes
Elevator in tutorial no longer goes up forever
Weird savegame corruption no longer makes it so you can't press buttons in the menu
Roomscale Oculus Touch support (forward facing coming soon)
Bloom toned down
Post effects improved
Lights that were only visible in one eye are now visible in both
Mixed reality fully supported
Related to mixed reality, hold R and use arrow keys to rotate play area
Added various missing colliders
Revamped Exobiology Chamber for better perf and less-boring gameplay
honestly that's all I can remember there's probably a bunch more
go play it
EDIT: Lol just remembered some more stuff. Made sniper rifle scope not pass through your eye for easier aiming. Fixed a boss fight that would sometimes not happen (in the big fake outdoor area)

Hey everyone. Sincere apologies for the past couple of months. Contrary to popular belief, Vertigo is not abandoned and I didn't just run off with your money never to be heard from again. I fully intend to acquire more money before I run off.
Anyhow, over the last couple months I've had a lot of stuff going on in my personal life, and since game development is a hobby I haven't been able to put it in priority over said stuff, especially the whole talking to the community bit. I haven't been totally inactive however. Vertigo has been ported to the newest version of Unity and a bunch of bugs have been solved. I'm collaborating with Valve on a thing. I'm collaborating with Onward on another thing. Vertigo 2 is in the early works. I'm planning on putting Vertigo on sale soon, with additional game modes and other fun stuff. I don't blame anyone for being frustrated and disappointed, but hopefully I can ease your suffering a little with this post. Also, similar deal with Blueshift. Hopefully I'll be able to get more on track with making that.
Expect a big big update in the next couple days!
Feel free to ask any questions you may have, I'll do my best to answer!
Demo finally updated to have all the new features/polish of the final game. If you played the demo and were frustrated by the bugs, consider giving it another whirl!
