🏛️ Houses and projects • Every project does what its name says, and the AI is told what each kind does • Houses can recruit soldiers again, paid from the treasury with daily upkeep • Houses start projects when they need them instead of filling every slot, and stop spending a ten
**🗺️ Maps** • **Paint an area on a map and that area IS the settlement** — drawn at the size you painted it, filling the ground you gave it • **City ground only appears where people actually live.** A place with the population toggle off is not a settlement and gets no sprawl at
Making a world • Four ways in, including building a world by hand • Quick Start tells you when it's done, and the window shows a progress bar, a clock, and each power as it is built • Your campaign starts in a real town — real buildings, real people, already in place • Pick Settl
Beta v2.02 🌍 Campaign generator The Starting Region list is no longer blank. The world was being built correctly — the generator just wasn't reporting the places it made, so the dropdown, the Phase 2 results card and the protagonist's start location all showed nothing A slow ste

- **"No dice" now actually means no dice.** The rulebook ordered rolls in five places and the engine never checked the setting. - **Turn levels off** and the auditor stops complaining about them. - **"Backpack" is now "Inventory."** - **Generated worlds could come out impossible*
**🐎 NEW: Trade Missions — goods can finally become money.** Producing things never actually earned you anything; stock just piled up. Income came from taxes, a small trickle per building, and tribute — fine for an empire with millions of taxpayers, fatal for a sect or clan with
**🔥 Area Abilities Overhauled — Shapes, Free Aim & Friendly Fire** • AOEs now come in three shapes: **Burst** (circle around where it lands), **Cone** (sprays out from the caster, configurable spread angle), **Line** (a straight beam, configurable width) — set Shape/Spread/W
**🎛️ Your World, Your Rules** • Characters are built from YOUR stats — the old stat-copying between NPCs is gone. Custom attributes, pools, health pool (or none: engine combat off, story combat on), currency, calendar (month names & lengths, week length, hours/day — the cloc
### 🧩 The big one - **"The AI returned no actions. Please click Generate again."** The code reading the AI's reply mangled it before parsing, so tightly-packed answers were destroyed while neatly indented ones survived by luck. Which you got depended on your model. Fixed, and wi
⚔️ Combat — Hit % + damage preview before you swing. Move overlay showing every reachable tile (orange = flanking spots). Stances, 🧪 Improvise, and morale: enemies now flee or surrender instead of fighting to the last. Round banners, floating damage, BLOODIED under 25% HP, and a

## 🌐 The Seamless World — movement rebuilt from the ground up - **Maps are bookkeeping, not walls.** Rooms are real places in one continuous space: step onto a room and you're **in** it, wanderers get swallowed by the rooms they walk into, and leaving puts you **beside** the doo

⚔️ Combat, rebuilt Turn-by-turn fights — one round per message, no fake instant victories. Real weapon reach & range: finesse melee closes and strikes, ranged keeps its distance; enemies actually move and act. The story can no longer fake hits, kills, or enemy counts — narrat
**👹 Spawning** - **The "'V' is not a monster card" error is fixed at the root** — a very short character name (like "V") could hijack the id lookup and corrupt a correct monster card; it can't anymore. GM-console + narrative spawns work. - **The Bestiary Spawn button keeps the r
**⚔️ Combat & characters** - **Gear scales on its NATURE, not your best stat** — a weapon keys off might/casting/agility by type; armor off agility (light) or toughness (heavy). No more a mage's dagger riding their INT. - **Armor holds up at high level** — uncapped AC stat bo
