Bug Fixes Fixed a problem on some stages, where boss fight begun as soon as the game started. *PRECAUTION* The 'black screen' problem may appear again because the existing executable(*.exe) file will be replaced during the update process. Please check out this post to solve it. S

Hello everyone, we've recently received multiple reports that the game only comes with a black screen when it's run in full-screen. We assume that this bug is related to recent Windows 10 updates, and we also found that several other GameMaker: Studio based games are experiencing
Hello everyone, we've recently received multiple reports that the game only comes with a black screen when it's run in full-screen. We assume that this bug is related to recent Windows 10 updates, and we also found that several other GameMaker: Studio based games are experiencing similar problems.
To solve this issue, you should run the game in compatibility mode. Please follow the steps below.
1. Navigate to the game folder.
1-1. Right-click the game(SPLIT BULLET) in your Steam library, and select "Properties".
1-2. Click "Local Files" tab and press "Browse Local Files..." button to open folder.
2. Right-click "SPLIT_BULLET.exe" and select "Properties(R)".
3. Move to "Compatibility" tab, and enable "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" checkbox under the "Compatibility Mode" section. (Windows 8 will be set by default, so you won't have to touch the drop-down list.)
Since this problem is OS/engine-related, it seems that there's no fundamental solution right now. Following all of the steps above will fix the problem, for now.

Hello everyone, we've recently received multiple reports that the game only comes with a black screen when it's run in full-screen. We assume that this bug is related to recent Windows 10 updates, and we also found that several other GameMaker: Studio based games are experiencing similar problems.
To solve this issue, you should run the game in compatibility mode. Please follow the steps below.

Major changes on overall interface structure We received several feedback that the interface does not match the game. We changed the structure of the overall interface significantly, including font. To briefly compare the differences:
Redesigned icons of weapons and skills The previous icons were hard to figure out what kind of attack the weapon fires. We've redesigned the icons to make it more intuitive. Check out the difference:
Anti-alias We have trimmed the aliases which appeared in some enemies, especially triangular ones.
Controller Support Now the game provides full controller support! Every menu in the game can be navigated using the controller. Current default key settings are: We are still discussing whether to change the roles of bumpers(LB, RB) and triggers(LT, RT). We will make decisions based on user feedbacks—or adding a key configuration options may be a solution.

Achievements The achievements are finally here! There are 15 achievements now(including 4 hidden ones!), and more will be added soon! If you have any idea, please share it; we will reflect it in future updates.
