Type 625E
The Type 625E is a new Chinese wheeled self-propelled anti-aircraft gun armed with a rotary cannon and guided missiles. It first appeared in public in 2022. Several variants exist in different calibers, some intended for export. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Type 625E is a Tier 10 Premium Tank Destroyer. It is a long-range fire support vehicle armed with both a rotary cannon for close range defense, and powerful guided missiles, including the Advanced FPV Missiles capable of both spotting and and destroying enemy targets.
The Type 625E is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.
TOS-1M Buratino
The TOS-1M Buratino is a prototype version of the Russian TOS-1/TOS-1A heavy rocket launcher. It was designed in 1997 at Omsk as an improvement to the old TOS-1 whose roots go back all the way to the Afghan War. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the TOS-1M Buratino is a Tier 10 Premium Tank Destroyer. As befits its massive rocket launcher installed on the top of a T-90A MBT chassis, its firepower is all but unparalleled and you are looking at perhaps the most destructive vehicle of Armored Warfare. It is available in two configurations – with fast-launching 122mm rockets and the iconic 220mm rockets that can be unlocked either by installing a skin (Koshmar), or by progressing through an active Battle Path.
The TOS-1M is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.
Otomatic
The Otomatic was an attempt from the 1980s and 1990s to mate originally naval 76mm rapid-firing cannon with a tracked chassis (either of Palmaria or a Leopard) to create an advanced anti-aircraft gun. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Otomatic a Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. Thanks to its fast-firing 76mm gun it can deal tremendous amounts of damage over short periods of time and can deal effectively with any target it encounters on the battlefield.

Abrams AGDS
The Abrams AGDS (Armored Ground Defense System) was a vehicle concept and proposal, drafted in July 1996 by Dr. Asher H. Sharoni (a former colonel in the Israeli Defense Forces) and Lawrence D. Bacon from a Californian company called Western Design Howden. It was supposed to be an air-defense vehicle, protecting the Abrams formations against flying threats, although its weaponry can be deployed against ground targets as well. The United States were, at the time, sorely lacking a vehicle comparable to the Russian Shilka and one of the ideas was to use the Abrams chassis paired with a new turret to produce an armored AA gun that would be able to keep up with the American tank units. This plan was never realized and the vehicle stayed only on paper but you can play the Abrams AGDS in Armored Warfare and experience what it would have been like, had it ever been deployed.
In Armored Warfare, the Abrams AGDS is a very unique Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. What makes it so special are its two large guided missile launchers capable of firing an incredibly devastating volley within seconds. The AGDS can devastate practically every opponent on the battlefield with a single salvo, making it one of the best and most effective mid-to-long range vehicles in the game. At close ranges, it can rely on excellent frontal turret protection and its two 35mm autocannons to keep enemies at bay until the missile launcher reloads to unleash another deadly swarm of missiles. The Abrams AGDS is one of the most feared vehicles in Armored Warfare!

Hunter AFV
Another alternative name for this vehicle is NGAFV (or Next Gen AFV), since it belongs to a whole program to replace the obsolete M113 APC in Singaporean service and to operate alongside its predecessor, another indigenous Singaporean IFV called Bionix. Hunter is the name of the production model of this program. The Hunter AFV is the pinnacle of bleeding edge of technology. In this sense, it can be compared to the AS21 Redback and both vehicles share several characteristics, not the least of which being relatively large size. This bulky IFV offers considerable levels of protection and firepower. It is expected to serve in the Singaporean army in large numbers in the near future with its mass-production having recently begun. You can read more about its history in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Hunter AFV is a Tier 9 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. As its description above suggests, it is a rather standard-sized IFV with good levels of protection and excellent firepower (consisting of a 30mm autocannon and a Spike ATGM launcher). It also features a recently introduced type of armor, NERA. Simply put, NERA is an ablative armor kit that deteriorates whenever it gets hit. In other words, the vehicle starts with excellent protection levels but it will lose some with damage taken as the battle progresses. Apart from that, the vehicle is adequately mobile and quite universal. It can, of course, also deploy Mechanized Infantry.

BMPT Mod.2017
The BMPT Mod.2017 is one specific version of the BMPT Terminator that was deployed in 2017 in Syria for extended testing along with some other Russian prototype equipment, including the SU-57 jet fighter and the Uran-9 combat robot. It consists of a modified T-90 hull with a modernized turret from BMPT-72 installed on it. Another major difference was the presence of a new type of Explosive Reactive Armor that was made of soft fabric bags with explosive filler. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the BMPT Mod. 2017 is a Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer and arguably the most powerful variant of the BMPT family. Like the others, it combines a tank hull with an unmanned turret, armed with two 30mm cannons as well as four missile launchers. Its thick armor and advanced ATGMs quickly made it one of the most feared vehicles of Tier 8 battlefields, a position it retains to this day.

Into the West Battle Path Content
As some of you might have been able to guess from the pre-order decal and avatar, the entire Battle Path is inspired by the legendary Chinese novel “Journey to the West” and the story of Sun Wukong (the Monkey King) and the scroll pilgrims tasked with bringing Buddhism from India to China. The prizes of the Battle Path follow all four unabridged novel volumes and are inspired by the events within the books.
We’ll show you specific examples later down the line – for now, let’s focus on the main prizes of the Battle Path, which are three Chinese vehicles:
ZBD-100 Tier 10 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle for reaching Level 15
Type 100 CSV Tier 10 Premium Tank Destroyer for reaching Level 30
ZTZ-100 Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank for reaching Level 50
All three vehicles feature a new unique ability called Synergy – thanks to a shared cutting-edge Battlefield Management System they are able to boost each other’s performance as well as the performance of their other teammates. Into the West Battle Updates and Free Access
The cost of the Into the West Battle Path will remain the same as with the current one:
50 levels, 4200 Battle Coins each
51-60 overprogression levels with increased cost (awarding Legendary Vehicle blueprints)
But the biggest change is that for the first time ever, even players who haven’t bought the access will have the opportunity to unlock the first 15 levels for free (including a single Pilgrim Loot Crate and the first vehicle of the Battle Path). There will be two access options available:
Path of the Warrior (which is a standard Battle Path access that works as usual)
Path of the Pilgrim (which is free access to the initial 15 levels of the Battle Path that is open for everyone by default)
Please note that the Path of the Pilgrim free access will allow you to complete Daily Missions and to progress through the Battle Path levels (up to Level 15 included). The rest of the Battle Path (Levels 16-60, Challenges, Chain Missions and the Battle Path Shop) will only be available to Path of the Warrior players. Upgrading from Path of the Pilgrim to Path of the Warrior will be available at any point as well.
As for the other changes, there will also be plenty of Battle Coin Boosters to earn (more than ever before) as well as:
Missions and Challenges will be possible to complete on the PvE (Legendary) difficulty
Mission Chains were once again overhauled (Chinese vehicles will come in handy)
New Daily Missions were added (including new SPG and Tier 5-8 ones)
Some existing Daily Mission requirements were reduced (mid-Tier Light Tank missions which hard higher requirements than other categories)
Type 99B blueprints awaiting you in the Battle Path Shop
Battle Path Shop will also receive new content, including 7 new vehicles and dozens of camouflages and skins

Today we’d like to tell you more about the upcoming passive ability mechanic called Synergy that, while simple on paper, works in a rather complicated way internally. So let’s dive right in.
The core of the idea is this. You have three Battle Path vehicles, each with its own unique passive ability:
ZBD-100 with Slipstream
Type 100 CSV with Fury
ZTZ-100 with Endurance and Protection
These abilities activate whenever the vehicles get close to each other (currently within 100 meters). When that happens:
The vehicle receives its own buff (the full version)
The other Battle Path vehicle or vehicles within range receive the full buff as well
All other friendly vehicles within 100m of the vehicle receive a reduced version of the same buff
Multiple buffs of the same type do not stack – you can receive it only once. The buff starts being active when in range and deactivates when you leave the range for both you and the other Battle Path vehicle. Upon leaving the range, the ability will still remain active for 3 seconds, after which it’ll switch off. There is no cooldown for re-activation – as long as you get back within range, you receive the buff again.
The bonuses are as follows:
Slipstream – 10% improvement of maximum speed and acceleration (2.5% in reduced version)
Fury – 10% improvement of reload time (2.5% in reduced version)
Endurance – 50% reduced module damage and 50% faster module repair time (15% in reduced version)
But there is one more ability that activates when all three are active (that is, three different Battle Path vehicles are within 100m of each other) called Protection.
Protection is an ability centered on ZTZ-100 and its advanced Active Protection System. The way it works is as follows – it improves the range reload time and charge of its APS module to 200 meters, effectively creating a “bubble” that intercepts guided missiles, including FPV ones. The “bubble” covers not just the three Battle Path vehicles, but every other friendly vehicle within range.
It works much like supercharged APS but is automatic – missiles get intercepted as long as the ability is active or the APS runs out of charges. There are several things that should be noted:
Missiles launched from within the bubble do not get intercepted
Activating Supercharged APS ability (which the ZTZ-100 has access to) disables the Protection ability temporarily (it’ll re-activate as long as the conditions are met)
The “bubble” is not really a bubble at all – mechanically it is a hemisphere (reflecting the positioning of the APS launchers), so there will be some fringe situations where it won’t work 100% (for example standing at the edge of a slope or a cliff might make the vehicle vulnerable from below)
Let’s take a look at the required vehicle positioning. In the game, vehicles do not work as re-translators. What that means is the following.
In the example below, vehicles A and B have abilities A and B active. Vehicle C does not have any ability active.
On the image below, vehicles A has abilities A and B active, vehicle B has the abilities A and B and C active and vehicle C has abilities B and C active. Ability D (Protection) is not activated because vehicles A and C are too far from each other.
On the image below, all three vehicles have all three abilities active and the ability Protection is activated as well.
When activated, the abilities will appear in the UI on the left end of the lower bar but the UI is very much a work in progress and we’re not ready to share the final appearance yet.

In Development: ZTZ-100
Commanders! In the past few days we unveiled the two vehicles of the Into the West Battle Path, both of them modern Chinese machines unveiled to the public last year. It is therefore probably not a surprise that the final vehicle of the Battle Path will be the ZTZ-100 Main Battle

In the past few days we unveiled the two vehicles of the Into the West Battle Path, both of them modern Chinese machines unveiled to the public last year. It is therefore probably not a surprise that the final vehicle of the Battle Path will be the ZTZ-100 Main Battle Tank.
And, as usual, a bit of history.
Like the other vehicles, the ZTZ-100 Main Battle Tank was unveiled to the world during the military parade that took place in Beijing on September 3, 2025. While its appearance wasn’t a complete surprise to those closely following Chinese military developments, it did cause quite a stir in the community as tanks that are brand new (instead of endless upgrades of old platform) are relatively uncommon.
The Type 100 platform the ZTZ-100 was built has probably been in development for the past decade in the China North Vehicle Research Institute (also known as Institute 201). The goal was to create a new platform (and in this case, Main Battle Tank) suitable for modern battlefield, which is why ZTZ-100 significantly differs from its predecessors.
Let’s start with the designation, which we haven’t addressed yet. Chinese tanks in general were previously designated very roughly by their class (ZTZ stands for Main Battle Tank) and their year of appearance (this practice was likely inherited from the Soviet Union times but is generally quite common). The Type 100 breaks this tradition because the number 100 is not referring to any year. The most prevalent theory is that they simply used the number following 99, which wouldn’t really make sense for the non-MBT platform designation, but there’s no conclusive result in this regard. Or maybe it just sounded cool – sometimes the simplest explanations are right.
In any case, the philosophy behind ZTZ-100 is as follows. The age of tank versus tank combat is over and tanks no longer need to be prepared to fight off other MBTs using kinetic ammunition. This has been confirmed by the Ukraine experience so far where most tank losses came from drones, artillery, and guided missiles. Extremely thick frontal armor is therefore not as important as defense against HEAT warheads. And when you don’t need your tank to weigh 80 tons, all sorts of interesting things become possible.
The most important elements of the ZTZ-100 design are therefore crew protection and active protection. That is why the turret on the ZTZ-100 is remote-controlled (unmanned) and the crew (3 men) is located in the hull in front of it, in an armored capsule. Like the Type 100 CSV, the ZTZ-100 crew is using augmented reality for maximum situational awareness – the tank is equipped with cameras transmitting picture directly into the crew helmets. No other tank in the world allows for that, perhaps except for some Israeli Iron Vision experiments.
Aside from armor, the vehicle is (much like the Type 100 CSV) protected by ERA or NERA elements covering its sides, as well as JD-3 jammers and JD-6 hard-kill active protection system with double the amount of launchers compared to Type 100 CSV. The smoke grenade launchers are also vertically positioned in the turret and there are some forward-facing effectors as well, which is likely a drone countermeasure, allowing the vehicle to cover the entire area with smoke (not just as a circle, but as a dome of sorts).
The firepower of the vehicle was a bit of a surprise as well because according to most sources, the tank is actually armed with a new 105mm cannon that is firing advanced ammunition (including APFSDS and programmable HE). This, in reality, would fit very well into the new MBT concept since the tank doesn’t need to fight enemy MBTs head a smaller caliber is perfectly sufficient for anything softer than that, especially with advanced shells. The advantages are more ammo carried, better ammunition handling, potentially faster loading too. The gun is of course automatically loaded.
Much like on the other two vehicles, the Fire Control System is state-of-the-art with the commander being also able to use a heavy 12.7mm machinegun linked to the commander optics (this feature is not on the CSV variant of the Type 100 platform).
The entire vehicle likely weighs between 40 and 50 tons and is powered by a 1500hp hybrid engine, allowing it to go as fast as 80 km/h on hardened surfaces and 50 km/h off-road. The engine is located in the back (unlike on the Type 100 CSV).
And, like with the other two vehicles, not much else is known. The vehicle is clearly still in development to a degree (judging from several variants and interim models that have since appeared) and is possibly not ready for mass-production. It’s also worth noting that the vehicle is not completely without controversy (even within China), nor is it intended to replace all other MBTs in Chinese service. China is building tanks with three potential theaters of operations in mind and this vehicle fits two perfectly:
Mountain areas against India in the Himalayas (replacing the fleet of first and second generation tanks and complementing the Light Tanks in Chinese inventory)
Taiwan (where a lot of urban combat is expected)
The third theater, Siberia, is considerably more open and heavier tanks (such as the upgraded Type 99B) are expected to be deployed there.
In Armored Warfare, the ZTZ-100 will be a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank.
Where the ZBD-100 is all about mobility and short-range firepower and the Type 100 CSV about long-range combat, the ZTZ-100 focuses on protection – active protection, that is.
Armor-wise, it’ll be similar to the Type 100 CSV with a combination of NERA, reduced module damage taken, unmanned turret and durable armor (especially effective versus HEAT rounds). There’s also the hard-kill Active Protection System from the Type 100 CSV but with improved performance. The idea of this system is in fact as follows – it’ll have very high amount of charges with a relatively high reload time so once depleted, it’ll take a while to reload. This will be possible to bypass but we’ll tell you more about that a bit later.
Mobility-wise, we’re looking at roughly the same values as on Type 100 CSV thanks to its 1500hp hybrid engine. The weight will be a bit higher (40 tons compared to CSV’s 35) but the mobility will nevertheless be very good.
The firepower will also be excellent thanks to its relatively rapid-firing 105mm gun. This tank could be considered something of a hybrid between the Main Battle Tank class and the Light Tank class in this regard but it really is way too armored to be a Light Tank. It could be considered a Medium Tank but in Armored Warfare, it falls straight into the MBT class.
The gun will be complemented by the 12.7mm machinegun on the top of the turret for softer targets – both with excellent depression and elevation angles, which means the vehicle will be quite comfortable to drive. The hybrid engine will allow it to stay relatively stealthy and the cutting edge optics will offer excellent viewrange for its class.
But the core of the ZTZ-100 new gameplay lies in the Synergy passive ability. The very shortened version is this. Where the ZBD-100 provides mobility-related bonuses to itself and the other two vehicles of this Battle Path and the Type 100 CSV provides firepower bonuses, the ZTZ-100 provides two protection bonuses:
Additional module durability (making modules very resistant to damage)
Protection zone
The second ability only activates (and stays active) only if all three vehicle types are close to each other but if they do, ZTZ-100 will provide an umbrella of sorts (like an improved version of the APS system) that protects the vehicles inside the protection area against incoming guided missiles, including all kinds of FPV missiles. In other words, if active, vehicles inside the protection zone (not just the Battle Path ones) cannot be engaged by FPV missiles.
Details about the inner workings of this ability will be shared in a separate article. Also please keep in mind that these values are not final as the Battle Path is still a month away at the very least. But we do hope that you’ll like the Battle Path along with its improvements that are coming (one’s really big) and, as always:

In Armored Warfare, the VN20 is a Tier 10 Premium Tank Destroyer. The vehicle is strong on its own, combining excellent firepower with powerful armor. However, what truly makes it stand out is its ability to deploy an autonomous turret that targets enemies within a certain area and showers them with a hailstorm of 30mm shells.

XK3 Phantom
The XK3 is based on a small scale model of the Next Generation Tank, unveiled by Hyundai during the ADEX 2023 expo in Seoul where several concepts of South Korean “next-gen MBT” were presented. You can read more in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the XK3 Phantom is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. It is light, fast and very well protected against HEAT shells. It also features a unique ability called Ambush Mode.
When the ability is activated, the tank redirects its power from the electric generator to camouflage and cooling systems. In game terms, what this means is that its active protection systems (both of them) become deactivated as long as the ability works. On the upside, the camouflage factor jumps to whopping 70%, making the vehicle very hard to detect.
When the ability is active, the gun/missiles gain an overheat meter. It doesn’t prevent you from firing but as long as the weapons don’t overheat, you can fire without a penalty to camouflage. This on one hand severely limits your damage output but it keeps the vehicle practically invisible for as long as the ability is active.

Hunter AFV
Another alternative name for this vehicle is NGAFV (or Next Gen AFV), since it belongs to a whole program to replace the obsolete M113 APC in Singaporean service and to operate alongside its predecessor, another indigenous Singaporean IFV called Bionix. Hunter is the name of the production model of this program. The Hunter AFV is the pinnacle of bleeding edge of technology. In this sense, it can be compared to the AS21 Redback and both vehicles share several characteristics, not the least of which being relatively large size. This bulky IFV offers considerable levels of protection and firepower. It is expected to serve in the Singaporean army in large numbers in the near future with its mass-production having recently begun. You can read more about its history in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Hunter AFV is a Tier 9 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. As its description above suggests, it is a rather standard-sized IFV with good levels of protection and excellent firepower (consisting of a 30mm autocannon and a Spike ATGM launcher). It also features a recently introduced type of armor, NERA. Simply put, NERA is an ablative armor kit that deteriorates whenever it gets hit. In other words, the vehicle starts with excellent protection levels but it will lose some with damage taken as the battle progresses. Apart from that, the vehicle is adequately mobile and quite universal. It can, of course, also deploy Mechanized Infantry.

Pindad SBS
The SBS platform is one of the first domestic armored vehicles developed by Pindad (the largest Indonesian armor producer) for Indonesia and is officially listed as a “light tank”. It was developed sometimes in the early 2010s with some prototypes in different configuration appearing in public in 2014 or so. The variant in the game is a long-range MLRS fire support vehicle with a 122mm multi-barreled rocket launcher. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Pindad SBS is a Tier 8 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. This AFV is fairly unique, since its main weapon is a multi-barreled rocket launcher capable of firing over obstacles. This makes the Pindad incredibly powerful in both offense and defense. Static enemy targets stand no chance! This vehicle is best used with Commander Ophelia Kitescu and in a platoon – the firepower of such a formation is truly without equal.

VT-5
The VT-5 is a modern Chinese Light Tank that was developed specifically with export in mind. There are many reasons why a country without its own tank development should opt to purchase a Light Tank instead of a full-scale Main Battle Tank. It’s equally as fast if not faster with equal firepower but, what is most important, it is affordable. The VT-5 excels in all these categories. While its armor cannot match that of an MBT, it can protect its crew against most infantry threats thanks to its ERA and cage armor sets. It also has a powerful 105mm gun capable of firing guided missiles, it is packed with advanced electronics and is supremely agile thanks to its 1000hp diesel engine. In Armored Warfare, the VT-5 is a very powerful Tier 9 Premium Light Tank. Fast and agile, it features solid levels of protection (the configuration in the game is the one featuring the ERA kit as well as the turret cage armor) and a good rate of fire. Additionally, its gun is capable of firing guided missiles. It’s an ideal machine for players who value speed and agility, as it offers plenty of both. The VT-5 is capable of dancing around its opponents on the battlefield, outperforming even some AFVs in mobility.

QN-506
The QN-506 fire support vehicle is a Chinese attempt to design a cheap, export-oriented alternative to the Russian BMPT series. Instead of converting a second or third generation MBT, the engineers at Wuhan Guide Infrared Co., Ltd., likely to keep the vehicle as affordable as possible, opted to base their project on the Type 59 MBT, which is, in its basic form anyway, a copy of the old Soviet T-55 medium tank from the late 1950s. They jam-packed it with cutting edge electronics and a number of weapon systems, including ATGMs, an automatic cannon or smaller caliber rockets. However, despite the use of an unmanned turret, the protection levels of this vehicle are still quite low and, so far, there haven’t been any signs of interest in the QN-506. In Armored Warfare, the QN-506 is a Premium Tier 9 Tank Destroyer that gameplay-wise resembles the popular BMPT series. However, unlike the Russian Terminators, it has a number of interesting features including three different weapon systems (30mm cannon, 70mm unguided rockets and 151mm ATGMs) and loitering recon ammunition flying towards the end of a map and spotting everything in its path. The last ability is unique to the QN-506 and makes it one of the most potent support vehicles on the battlefield.

Today, we’d like tell you about the first vehicle of the upcoming Battle Path, which is inspired by the well-known Chinese epic Journey to the West. As you can therefore surmise, the vehicles featured in this Battle Path are all of Chinese origin, including the very first one you’ll have the chance to obtain, which is called ZBD-100.
First, a bit of history as usual.
Or that’s where there would be some. But the truth is that there’s a lot that’s unknown about this vehicle, including its official designation. But let’s start from the beginning.
The military parade that took in Beijing on September 3, 2025 was held in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japan in the Second World War. The People’s Liberation Army used the opportunity to showcase a number of vehicles (over 80 vehicle types in total), including a brand-new Armored Fighting Vehicle for its airborne forces.
The People's Liberation Army Air Force Airborne Corps, as the branch is called, is currently equipped with ZBD-03 Infantry Fighting Vehicles. These are extremely light and fast air-deployable IFVs similar in concept to the Russian BMD series and offer a lot of firepower in a small package. However, that also means the vehicles suffer from similar drawbacks, including extremely poor protection.
The new airborne vehicle is clearly designed to remedy some of these while retaining the small size and low weight necessary for them to remain easily air-transportable. While some might argue large airborne operations are a thing of the past in the age of complete digital battlefield coverage, the Chinese clearly mean business.
Of all the new vehicles unveiled during the parade, this one is the least documented and some, if not most, characteristics have been speculated about since last year. They were therefore assembled from various reputable sources, including Chinese servers and military magazines, but, as always, you should take them with a grain of salt and as an approximation.
With that being said, the vehicle we’re discussing allegedly weighs around 14 tons. It has a crew of 3 men located in the hull, and an unmanned turret. The vehicle can carry 4 paratroopers. The armor is likely aluminum to keep the weight low with extra composite panels improving the protection around the most exposed areas. The vehicle is clearly still very vulnerable to pretty much any kind of fire, but, unlike older airborne IFVs, features both soft-kill and hard-kill active protection systems (JD-3 and JD-6 respectively) as well as Type 94 smoke grenade launchers.
The vehicle is allegedly powered by hybrid engine of an unknown type. Some sources claim it’s called HPD110 and produces 1500hp by assuming it’s shared between all new vehicles unveiled during the parade (most notably the ZTZ-100 Main Battle Tank and the Type 100 Fire Support Vehicle) but that is, of course, mostly a speculation. What is not a speculation is the presence of a hydraulic suspension, allowing the vehicle to lower its silhouette for transportation or in a stationary position. The maximum speed of the vehicle is said to exceed 80 km/h.
As for the armament, the vehicle is armed with a 30mm ZPT-02 autocannon (a rather classic choice) capable of very high depression and elevation, as well as a coaxial machinegun. The most interesting part, however, are its two secondary weapon systems:
HJ-13 anti-tank guided missiles
PF11E thermobaric unguided rockets
The HJ-13 guided missiles are launched from the two-tube missile launcher on the left side of the turret. They represent an evolution of the HJ-12 belonging to the Red Arrow missile series and are, in real life, fire-and-forget missiles that can be fired in top-attack mode (resembling the U.S. Javelins).
The PF11E thermobaric rockets are even more interesting. They are unguided and can be used to devastate soft targets, especially in urban environments where long-range combat is not expected that much. The vehicle carries four of these.
The Fire Control System and optics are likely shared with the Type 100 Fire Support Vehicle and are state-of-the-art.
And that’s pretty much all that’s known about this vehicle as it hasn’t appeared around all that much since the parade. The most interesting part is that not even its official designation is known. Why do we call it ZBD-100 though?
Back in 2025 when this vehicle first appeared, we knew we would add it to Armored Warfare basically straight away, it was just that interesting. But we were quite certain that by the time we’d get to implementing it, the official designation would definitely be revealed. As it turned out, it wasn’t. We therefore derived it simply from the designation for an earlier IFV (the ZBD designation stands for “armored vehicle, IFV, tracked”) combined with the number 100 used for other “next-gen” vehicles unveiled during the parade.
There’s of course the matter for the Type 100 Fire Support Vehicle being referred to as ZBD-100, but that one is not a true IFV – it is even designated as a fire support vehicle by the Chinese, so why would it be called ZBD-100? In any case, this is the compromise we made and we hope you’ll enjoy it no matter how it’s called.
And now to the gaming part.
In Armored Warfare, the ZBD-100 will be a Tier 10 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle.
As you can probably guess from the description already, this vehicle will be pretty much the polar opposite of the current Battle Path’s AMPV 30. But worry not, despite its lack of armor it has a lot going for it.
Let’s start with the basics, of course. The baseline armor will be very thin, but augmented by state-of-the art APS (similar to the combined system used in the game by the T-14 Armata) as well as the supercharged hard-kill APS active ability.
Its agility, top speed and acceleration will be extremely good (even on off-road surfaces) because this vehicle is meant not just for scouting, but for fast combat. Get close to your opponents, hit hard, and disappear before they can react.
And speaking of hitting hard, we have three weapon systems for you:
Powerful 30mm ZPT-02 autocannon
HJ-13 guided missiles
PF11E thermobaric rockets
The autocannon is tuned for not perhaps as high rate of fire as some other autocannons of this caliber, but with seriously increased damage per shot. While powerful, it’s also not too accurate – as we mentioned, this vehicle is meant for high-speed combat and you won’t be doing a lot of sniping with it. But it does have a long-range weapon system – the HJ-13 missiles. These are modern tandem HEAT warhead ATGMs with self-guidance. They can be used to engage targets at long ranges where the autocannon is not as effective.
But the most unusual weapon will be the thermobaric PF11E rockets. These are unguided and fairly inaccurate, but at closer ranges you can deal tremendous damage in a matter of seconds with them. We’re still tuning the details but the idea is to get close to your target, fire off the rockets and switch to autocannon to cover their (rather long) reload. After all, you can run circles around your target thanks to ZBD-100’s excellent mobility.
But the vehicle is more versatile than that. In its stock configuration, you will have the access to two active abilities:
Active Suspension (allowing you to lower the vehicle for improved camouflage)
Designate Target
You can upgrade the vehicle by completing Battle Path missions to unlock the following abilities:
Supercharged hard-kill APS
Assault Squad infantry (firing thermobaric rockets)
The camouflage and viewrange will both be excellent so it is possible to play the vehicle in a more passive role – the choice will be yours.
And one more thing.
The vehicle will be the first of three vehicles of this Battle Path to have access to the new passive ability called Synergy.
The short version is, all three vehicles of the Battle Path share the same super-modern Battlefield Management System, which allows them to work better together. Therefore, if close to each other, the vehicles will improve the performance of each other. ZBD-100’s contribution to this system is a mobility buff, but we’ll share the details later in a separate article.

It features a number of improvements and extra components, most notably a dozer blade, a Brimstone ATGM twin launcher and an advanced camera system by Elbit. In Armored Warfare, the Challenger 2 Streetfighter is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. Its main advantages include excellent frontal armor (enhanced by the presence of its dozer blade covering its lower frontal plate), increased ramming damage and long range lethality, courtesy of a powerful ATGM launcher. Whether you desire to bring the fighting up close or support other MBTs at distance, the Streetfighter’s got your back.

M-95 Degman
The M-95 Degman is an advanced Croatian prototype MBT, developed during the 1990s and 2000s. It is based on the previous Yugoslavian project, the Vihor MBT, which in turn has its roots in the improved T-72M series produced in former Yugoslavia. You can read more about its history in a dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the tank is relatively fast and fairly agile while carrying some potent firepower for its Tier. In fact, its owners can choose from two powerful guns:
125mm 2A46 Russian-style smoothbore gun, known from many Russian MBTs
120mm CTG NATO-style smoothbore gun that you know from the Challenger 1 Falcon MBT
It’s worth noting that the 120mm shells have higher penetration values and the gun can also fire Falarick ATGMs while the 125mm gun has higher damage per shot. Both guns will feature good handling as well as overall performance to offset the vehicle’s weakness, which is its mediocre armor. The Degman must rely on its mobility and firepower to survive, making it an ideal vehicle for aggressive, daring players.

Type 96B
The Type 96B MBT, as its name suggests, is an evolution of the Type 96A, featuring such elements as an upgraded fire control system and a much more powerful engine, resulting in considerably better mobility and speed. Unlike the Type 96A, however, the Type 96B is a prototype, designed for the Chinese military team to use during the annual Tank Biathlon event in Russia. In 2017, the Chinese team won the second place, being defeated only by Russia. You can learn more about its history in our dedicated article!
In Armored Warfare, the Type 96B is a Tier 8 Premium Main Battle Tank. Gameplay-wise, it’s very agile and fast for its class and uses advanced ammunition, making it highly suitable for players who prefer mobility over armor protection, even though it can take a lot of punishment as well.

First, let’s talk about standard rewards. The standard rewards for playing the Escalation mode are:
Credits and Experience (roughly similar or better to other modes per minute of combat, please note that killing Elite enemies rewards you with extra currency)
Battle Coins
Legendary Loot Crates
Legendary Loot Crates are awarded to top 3 players in a victorious mission. Additionally, one more Legendary Loot Crate is awarded to the entire team if you manage to destroy all Elite enemies on the map. Whether you have or have not destroyed all Elite enemies can be tracked with a new objective marker.
Additionally, there are new Epic medals available in this mode. The medals are as follows:
Steel Eagle (Legendary): Help destroy (by dealing damage to vehicles or destroying modules) the largest number of enemy vehicles (at least 20) in a single PvE (Legendary) match
Iron Dragon (Legendary): Medal awarded to a player, who deals the most damage in a PvE (Legendary) match. The damage dealt must be equal to at least 33% of enemy vehicle combined hitpoints
Legendary Sword: Destroy at least 25 enemy vehicles in a single PvE (Legendary) match
Order of Resistance (Legendary): Medal awarded to a player, who repels the most damage in a game and survives. Repelled damage must be equal to at least 40000 hitpoints
Steel Avalanche (Legendary): Medal awarded to the entire team that completes a PvE (Legendary) mission without a single death and without using any hitpoint-restoring consumables by any member of the team
Epic medals award players with multipliers to their income (especially Credits) and can really kick the mission results up a notch. They are not currently tied to the Mastery flags, but that feature is planned for the future.
In addition to these, there are three Legendary Achievements waiting for you:
Complete the PvE (Legendary) mission Quarterback with Elites present within 4 minutes from the start
Complete the PvE (Legendary) mission Quarterback while destroying each Elite within 1 minute from its appearance
Complete the PvE (Legendary) map Quarterback and destroy the Clayburn Officer at the exact moment of successfully holding the refinery
These achievements can each be completed once are awarding players not only with Credits and Reputation, but also with a new type of Loot Crate called Desert Loot Crate
Desert Loot Crate contains a single Tier 6 to Tier 9 Premium vehicle or a Premium commander that you do not have yet. If you have all the items obtainable from this crate, you will receive 2000 Gold. Please note that there is a small chance for the gold to drop even if you are missing some of the vehicles from the loot crate contents.
Its contents also include:
Commanders Kitescu and Cortez
Rare vehicles such as Olifant, Pereh, ELKE or RDF/LT Ares
And much more
The Loot Crate does not include copies of existing vehicles with skins.

Today, we’d like to tell you more about a new PvE mode and event that will be hitting Armored Warfare in the near future.
In early August, we are launching an event called Escalation as an introduction to the new PvE Legendary difficulty in Armored Warfare. This difficulty is tailored for Tier 10 and Legendary Vehicles only and represents our new vision of endgame PvE content.

Armored Warfare has plenty of PvE content, but most of it is a bit long in the tooth and, what’s more important, players are so familiar with it they could probably pass some of the missions with their eyes closed. The Legendary difficulty level we’re introducing fixes all that because with the new Modifier system, maps become far less predictable.
The core of the idea is simple. As a part of the introductory (and time-limited) Escalation event, we have overhauled a single PvE mission called Quarterback to the new Legendary difficulty level, which should pose a serious challenge even to the best of vehicles and the most coordinated of teams. The overhaul consists of:
Visual changes (the map now looks prettier)
Gameplay changes (the mission is longer and requires you to hold the refinery, not just capture it)
More numerous and tougher enemies including a new category, the Elites
The most important part – the Modifier system, which is the core of the Legendary difficulty level
Two difficulty sub-modes will be available during the Escalation event – the easier one will feature fewer modifiers, the harder one will feature the full set.
The mission also features Elite enemies. Elite enemies represent hardened Clayburn Industries troops sent by Clayburn himself to hunt you down. They are marked with a different color than usual vehicles and will appear in three different configurations:
Officer – a single powerful enemy appears on this map (this is effectively an optional boss fight)
Ambush – series of elite enemies are positioned around the map (these spawn on several positions during the mission but do not move around too much)
Patrol – elite enemy groups patrol the area and may appear randomly during the mission
Elite positions are visible on the minimap.
Now, let’s talk about Modifiers. Modifiers represent changes to the mission’s gameplay, each adding an extra difficulty to contend with. In addition, for each of these three categories, all enemy vehicles receive a substantial hitpoint and module protection buff.
There are three types of modifiers:
Map modifiers (affecting the basic map gameplay)
Bot modifiers (affecting only normal enemies on the map)
Elite modifiers (affecting only Elite enemies on the map)
The map modifiers are:
Artillery – off-map artillery is periodically targeting players during the mission
Darkness – night fighting, enemy vehicles are harder to spot during the night
Bunkers – hardened enemy positions appear across the map
Snipers – enemy snipers appear across the map, mostly around the refinery
Storm – raging storm deals damage over time to player vehicles via lightning strikes, which can be avoided by moving
The general enemy vehicle modifiers are:
Improved Damage – enemy vehicles deal more damage than usual
Improved Health – enemy vehicles have more health than usual
Improved Camouflage – enemy vehicles have higher camouflage factors than usual
Improved Penetration – enemy vehicles have higher ammo penetration values than usual
Improved Mobility – enemy vehicles maneuver and turn their turrets faster than usual
The Elite enemy vehicle modifiers are:
Elite Armor – elite vehicles have thicker armor than usual
Elite Weapons – elite vehicles deal more damage than usual
Elite Health – elite vehicles have more health than usual
Elite HEAT Immunity – elite vehicles cannot be damaged using HEAT shells or missiles
Elite Reload – elite vehicles fire faster than usual
Elite Speed – elite vehicles drive, accelerate, and turn turrets faster than usual
Naturally, such difficulty must be properly rewarded. Let’s talk about what the Rewards.
You can look forward to:
Increased XP and Credit income
Increased amount of Legendary Loot Crates for mission completion
Additional Legendary Loot Crate for killing all Elites on the map for everyone
Special achievements with epic rewards (including Premium vehicles)
The Escalation event in the classic form you are used to with an extremely enticing top prize called Pilgrim Crate that will award you with high-Tier vehicles you don’t have yet (or Legendary Blueprints)

Stridsvagn 2000
The Stridsvagn 2000 was to be Sweden’s next Main Battle Tank, designed to combat Soviet super-tanks such as the Black Eagle. For its time, the project was nothing short of revolutionary with extremely thick frontal armor and a powerful 140mm gun that could take on literally anything in its day. However, the Soviet threat dissipated with the collapse of the Soviet Union, which pushed Sweden to seek a cheaper solution to its tank problem, namely the Leopard 2 MBT. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the Stridsvagn 2000 is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank that represents the essence of practicality. Solid armor, decent mobility and excellent damage over time output make this tank one of the most versatile tools you can have in your arsenal, equally capable in PvP and PvE. Aside from its advanced NERA armor, the Strv 2000 features a coaxial 40mm autocannon. The key to success is switching between both weapon systems and maximizing your damage output while your NERA armor eliminated one enemy shell after another.

CV90120 Ghost
The CV90120 “Ghost” Light Tank was a Swedish demonstrator based on an earlier fire support model of the CV90120. As its name suggests, the vehicle is armed with 120mm smoothbore cannon but that’s the least interesting on its features. The Ghost is named after a special camouflage system called ADAPTIV that's capable of masking the bulky tank in the IR spectrum so well it disappears from enemy screens – like a ghost. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the CV90120 Ghost is a Tier 9 Premium Light Tank. Depending on your choices, it can be configured two ways – as a fast hit-and-run Light Tank using the combination of a Ready Rack and its excellent mobility, or as a stealthy sniper using the ADAPTIV system and the upgraded ammunition. While you won’t be as stealthy as dedicated Tank Destroyers or small AFVs, you’ll still be able to do a lot of damage from behind the safety of your lines.

CV90 Mk.IV
The Swedish CV90 Mk.IV IFV is the most modern version of the old but constantly developed CV90 platform. Since its introduction in the early 1990s, the vehicle was upgraded so much that this 2018 model bears little resemblance to the three decades old original, featuring cutting edge electronics as well as a brand new turret. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the CV90 Mk.IV is a Tier 8 Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle. It is a durable and reliable infantry carrier capable not only of dealing tremendous damage with its 50mm autocannon, but of launching powerful Spike missiles as well. In addition to that, it’s relatively well-protected and can also carry Mechanized Infantry. What’s there not to like?

CV90105 TML
The CV90105 TML from the 1990s was one of the first attempts to convert the CV90 chassis into a fire support vehicle by combining it with a French TML turret. The result was a fairly capable Light Tank with considerable firepower in the form of its 105mm GIAT gun that could successfully take out most MBTs of its time. Unfortunately, the vehicle didn’t manage to attract any customers and remained a prototype only. You can learn more about it in our dedicated article.
In Armored Warfare, the CV90105 TML is a Tier 7 Premium Light Tank. Depending on your choices, it can be configured two ways. You can opt for a more sustained firepower with the large 12-round clip – this way you need to stay behind your own team or hide in bushes, turning your Light Tank into something like a close support Tank Destroyer. Or, you can opt for the fun option of turning your CV90105 TML into a hit and run monster. Ambush an enemy, empty the magazine into his sides or rear and immediately retreat.

Today we’d like to tell you more about a vehicle that’s coming this summer – the Chinese Type 625E!
But first a bit of history as usual.
The Type 625E is a Chinese gun/missile air defense system developed in 2020-2021, with trials beginning in 2021. It was first unveiled at the 2022 Zhuhai Air Show and was initially based on the ZBL-08 armored personnel carrier. A little later, it received a dedicated 8x8 chassis shared by an entire family of air defense vehicles, including a radar vehicle, a laser-based anti-drone system and others.
A somewhat simplified version was accepted into service by the People’s Liberation Army and appeared during the September 3, 2025 parade. It can operate either as part of a battery, receiving targeting data from a command vehicle, or independently in the version fitted with a surveillance radar.
Several possible configurations exist, depending on the weapon used (a 25mm or 30mm rotary cannon), the missiles carried (FN-16 or FB-10A) and the presence or absence of a radar. The system is also known as the CS/SA5, LD630 and PLB625E, although these designations generally do not refer to any specific version and were often changed even for otherwise identical configurations.
In Armored Warfare, the Type 625E will be a Tier 10 Premium Tank Destroyer.
From just looking at the images, it should be obvious that this is in fact not a frontline vehicle. The Type 625E is a long-range fire support platform that will rely on guided missiles to deal some serious damage.
The gameplay design is partially shared with the Legendary Vehicle Reaper FSV in the sense that the vehicle offers a combination of three weapon systems:
30mm rotary cannon
Regular guided missiles
Advanced FPV missiles
Let’s start with the missiles as these are the primary weapon system of Type 625E. You have two options. For standard gameplay, you can fire classic FB-10A missiles in rapid succession. These are performance-wise somewhat similar to the Red Arrow missiles you know and love from the AFT-10 Tank Destroyer and have HEAT warheads. They hit fairly hard but you have to maintain your line of sight to use them effectively.
The second option are the Advanced Missiles that work the same way as on the Reaper – they are FPV missiles that can both spot targets and deal damage. Compared to the Reaper, their damage was tuned down but they are still potent long-range weapons that can be fired at long distances without exposing yourselves to counter-fire. As with the Reaper, there are, of course, limitations to their use:
You only have several of them, so spend them wisely
They are vulnerable to APS
They lose control when passing through smoke
And last but not least, there’s the 30mm rotary cannon. Despite its caliber, this is not a powerful gun and should be used for engaging unarmored targets or as a last resort weapon. It has two things going for it:
It has extremely high elevation angles (unlike the missile launchers)
It can fire for a very long time before overheating
Active abilities-wise, the vehicle has a Radar ability that trades its own camouflage (what little it has, this is a very large and conspicuous vehicle) for the ability to see further. The radar on the Type 625E is, of course, animated.
The rest of the vehicle is fairly standard. Given how it’s a wheeled and fairly heavy vehicle, the mobility will not be one of its strong characteristics, and neither will be armor, which basically only protects it against machinegun bullets. The Type 625E has smoke grenade launchers (of course) and an unmanned turret, but that’s about it.
The Type 625E will be an excellent choice for players who prefer long-range combat without moving too much and firing across the entire battlefield, possibly performing counter-battery fire against other similar vehicles. When pressed into short-range combat, the autocannon can help, but launching missiles at long distances is where it excels at.

But first a bit of history as usual.
The Centauro 2 is, as its name suggests, an evolution of the Italian Centauro design. During the Cold War, Italy, along with France, went the unusual way of wheeled Tank Destroyers and Fire Support Vehicles with MBT-caliber guns. For France, the choice was rather simple – it had vested interest in and close ties to post-colonial African countries and operating Main Battle Tanks in such harsh environments simply wasn’t cost-effective. It needed a fleet of vehicles with high firepower and mobility but, at the same time, lower operating costs and wheeled vehicles such as the Sagaie or the AMX 10 RC offered just that. For Italy, this wasn’t that big of a consideration. Instead, they opted for high road mobility that would allow the army to move forces around quickly and provide MBT-level firepower to its infantry units at a fraction of its cost.
That is how the Centauro concept was born. The downside, of course, is the protection level. This was the pre-drone era where speed and stealth were still (sort-of) viable and where MBTs ruled supreme so, back then, this direction made perfect sense. You can read more about the original Centauro in its dedicated article.
Fast-forward to mid-2016, a prototype of Centauro’s successor was revealed at the Eurosatory expo in Paris. Even before the current conflict experience, the decision to continue in the Centauro direction was somewhat controversial and likely driven by costs and existing doctrines rather than actual combat usefulness, but such is often the case until actual combat proves everyone wrong.
The largest upgrade to the design was the inclusion was the low-recoil OTO-Melara 120mm L/45 gun derived from Ariete’s L/44 cannon. In the mid-2010s, the 105mm gun of the original Centauro was obsolete and there were two ways of solving that issue – you can either switch to gun/missile combo (that is the route the French went), or you can add a bigger gun. The Italians went with the latter.
The 120mm gun was installed in a HITFACT II turret by OTO-Melara (which was developed especially for it) and was loaded automatically – to a point. There was a six-round autoloader with a dedicated crewmember loading it from the ammo rack located in the back of the turret (and additional ammunition in the hull).
The gun had respectable depression and elevation angles too (-7/+16) along with an advanced Fire Control System and other optics:

The gun could fire standard 120mm NATO ammunition.
The weight increased of course (from roughly 24 tons of the classic Centauro to officially 30 tons, but unofficially possibly 35 tons), but this was more than compensated by a more powerful 720hp IVECO engine paired with an automated ZF suspension, allowing the Centauro 2 to go as fast as 105 km/h on the road.
Protection levels remained of course relatively low compared to tanks, but the vehicle could frontally withstand 30mm autocannon fire and its thinner sides were protected from 25mm to 12.7mm caliber fire. Additional protection was provided by 81mm smoke grenade launchers and radio jammers but the vehicle lacked hard-kill active protection systems.
Two years after the appearance of the prototype, in 2018, a contract was signed for the first 10 vehicles of the type out of 150 planned to replace the roughly 300 service B1 Centauros, followed by roughly bi-annual updates to the contract.
The actual production number is, however, unknown. The first unit to receive the Centauro 2 was the Aosta Mechanized Brigade of the Italian Army in May 2025 with no more than 18-20 vehicles likely currently built (the last confirmed delivery was 16 vehicles in 2024).
As for the exports, Brazil ordered 98 of these vehicles in November 2022 with the first two vehicles (made in Italy) delivered in 2023. Local mass-production is supposed to launch in 2027 in Sete Lagoas.
There are four versions of the vehicle known:
The 2016 prototype with 81mm smoke grenades and older radio jammers
The 2022 production version with new 40mm ROSY smoke grenades
The 2024 version with upgraded jammers as well as a modified Fire Control System to fire the Vulcano 120 rounds
Simplified Brazilian export version
The vehicle we have for you is based on the Italian 2024 version. And speaking of:
In Armored Warfare, the Centauro 2 will be a Legendary Tank Destroyer.
In order to obtain it, you’ll have to first collect the usual 10 thousand Legendary Blueprints, but also obtain the Wilk XC-8 Tier 10 Tank Destroyer.
Role-wise, the Centauro 2 will be akin to the BMPT Mod.2025 – an uncompromising dealer of damage on the battlefield, only trading missiles and autocannons for a rapid-firing large gun. However, the actual approach to dealing damage will be different.
The core of the gameplay is that the Centauro 2 can’t boast thick armor or ERA like the BMPT can. Sure, it’ll be mostly resistant to 30mm autocannons frontally and it’ll feature soft-kill APS, but it essentially has to rely on stealth, mobility and firepower. And rest assured, it’ll have plenty of them all.
Mobility will mostly be relegated to roads and similar surfaces as this is not a tracked vehicle. It’ll perform decently in this regard but do not expect performance similar to a Light Tank. Stealth, however, is where the Centauro 2 begins to shine as it’ll be extremely high. Despite its size, the Centauro 2 will be very difficult to spot, including by FPV missiles. Firing the gun will naturally reduce the camouflage a fair bit, but it’ll still be very difficult to discover when positioned properly.
But you want to hear more about the most important aspect, its firepower. Rest assured, it is substantial. The 120mm gun is similar in performance to the gun of the Leopard 2A7DK so that can be taken as a baseline. However, the Centauro 2 gun fires noticeably faster (with 4 second reload time). It’ll feature the following ammunition:
120mm APFSDS (similar to Leopard 2A7DK, including the module damage bonus)
120mm HEAT (similar to Leopard 2A7DK)
120mm HE (with increased penetration, damage and splash radius)
Inferno rounds
Inferno rounds are a new mechanic of the Centauro 2. They work similarly to White Phosphorus rounds – they create a zone on the ground and if an enemy vehicle enters it, it’ll catch fire and start taking damage. However, there is one key difference – where the old rounds damage engine and cause it to catch fire, Inferno rounds damage all external modules. The effect is red in color and has an extended duration.
This gives experienced Centauro 2 commanders the ability to “stunlock” enemy vehicles by immobilizing them first, firing an Inferno round and watch them lose their hitpoints and modules. Even the mighty Reaper can be subdued this way but the Centauro 2 is also very useful in dealing with powerful PvE enemies, something that’ll come in handy in the near future.
As for the Black Company, the Centauro 2 prototype once again comes from Clayburn Industries experimental stock and was captured along with the previous vehicles. Unlike the BMPT, however, it took considerably more time to repair and become combat-ready but now that it is, Black Company’s technicians are already hard at work restoring several more experimental projects looted from Clayburn’s armories.
