It’s a simple concept: you can enter your best run in each of the Furi difficulty, over the span of four days. It’s planned to run from August 1-4, each day having its own difficulty level:
August 1: Promenade
August 2: Furi
August 3: Furier
August 4: Gauntlet: all three consecutively
Entering is simple - finish your run in the difficulty for the day, and submit the VOD on discord in the #furi-speedrun-challenge channel. Please read the rules in #furi-speedrun-challenge-rules before!

First of, you are all invited to the celebration, live on Twitch and Steam, the last week of July. Hosted by Mugthief and with special guests like Danger (of Furi's OST fame), Emeric Thoa (the game's creative director), Simon Hutt (artist on Furi), as well as some of our lovely community members.
There will be music, live drawing, a speedrun race and more but we also have prepared surprises to share with you along with some gifts and giveaways, so save the date - err the week- and stay posted for more information!

As you prepare for your first ascent, here’s a reminder of all that’s waiting for you on Kami:
As pro climber Aava, you attempt the first ascent of Mount Kami. Experience the challenge and the exhilaration of climbing as you scale the vertiginous cliffs. The whole mountain is yours to explore, filled with unexpected encounters and long lost mysteries. This is what you trained for: pushing beyond your limits, in a quest for absolute freedom.
Cairn climbing system is natural and intuitive. You’re attempting the ascent at the top of Aava’s skill, and you’ll feel it as you climb! She’ll wedge her foot in crevices, grip the tiniest crimps… You’re in charge of the route, but you can trust her to do the best with the holds you give her, and pull off impressive climbing moves.
Cairn gives you complete freedom in the mountain, you can climb anywhere, make your own decisions on the path to take and how to approach a wall. You create your own unique route to the summit. Take Kami on however you see fit (and can manage!).
It will take days to make it to the summit, and there’s only so much you can fit in your backpack. You’ll need to forage for food, find water sources, and keep yourself warm through the night, rain or snow. It’s up to you to decide when you set up camp to recharge your batteries, and when you push forward at your own risk.
Foraging isn’t the only reason to explore! You’re climbing a mountain that’s been inhabited for hundreds, if not thousands of years and the elusive troglodyte people are living in the area. Many other alpinists have tried to ascend Kami, and you can retrace the steps of their past expeditions on her slopes.

You have full freedom to explore the small mountain ridge, learn how to climb, forage, and survive in a low-pressure environment. It packs many of the features of the full game.
And now, for a limited time, you can climb Tenzen alongside selected community, dev and content creators ghosts, and see what everyone’s been getting up to. Maybe you can try something new?

The game has not been getting a lot of visibility since its launch, and we want as many players as possible to get the chance to play it. Unfortunately a free game can only enter a limited amount of fests or events on Steam. Making it paid will allow us to register it in events, discount it, and make it visible to more people.
It will also help us measure how much interest this take on Furi is generating, as of course we are dreaming about adding more bosses to it. As we dream about it, which boss would you chose to be the next one to come to Furi Demake?
So on June 23rd we will make Furi Demake paid. But YOU can still grab it for free and keep it forever, and tell a friend to grab it!

It is finally time for us to let you in on what we've been cooking: our next game Cairn, a mountain ascent adventure with an intuitive climbing simulation.

Climbing is challenging, with difficult sections to navigate, and you will need to use your equipment and pitons wisely. Cairn’s story mode will take you on Aava’s journey, as she sets to conquer a summit no one has reached before, and you will decide what she’s ready to sacrifice to achieve the ascent.

We received many incredible pieces, and it was really hard to choose only four to award. There was some truly impressive pixel art, incredible color mastery and even some mixed media art!
We brought in the whole studio to help decide on the winners, and it ended up being a very tight race among our three winners and our coup de coeur. Without further ado, here are our winners!
