ChromaGun 2 Demo - Out Now!

We have done maaany improvements in comparison to ChromaGun 1, it would be great if you'd take a look and tell us what you think! :)
The main improvements are:

You can't get stuck: In ChromaGun1, most negative reviews referred to people getting stuck in levels. This was frustrating because you had to restart the level in those cases, losing a lot of time and making it repetitive sometimes. In ChromaGun 2, we've changed the game design so that people can't get stuck anymore. A feature to remove color (which wasn't possible in CG1) is one of the key elements for this.
Completely new graphics and look: We switched from Unity to Unreal and brought in way more different looks by introducing different universes into the game with entirely different styles. The first ChromaGun only had one "universe", the ChromaTec universe, which defined the whole look of the game. In ChromaGun 2, ChromaTec is only one of many styles we have. Besides universes like a chicken universe, a post-apocalyptic universe, we even have easter egg universes from other games (you might spot one in the trailer :) )
Deep story: We have >100 pages of screenplay. The old ChromaGun had like 15 pages.
Playtime: ~3h ChromaGun 1, the demo of ChromaGun 2 already has ~1h. The full version will have much more.
Replayability: We have hidden ChromaGuns as Achievements / Collectables
Localization: We are supporting 11 languages, which are intensely checked by our loca agency & playtesters from those regions
Way more playtesting: We have 25k playtesters subscribed, of which thousands have played the game and given feedback through email, Discord, and the feedback form we implemented into the demo

We are delighted to announce that we've partnered with PM Studios from LA to work on our next game, ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard!
Eight years after the release of our very first indie game ChromaGun in 2016, this is a big step for us :)
We have read your comments about the first game and have worked hard to prepare a fantastic successor.
Major changes:

You can't get stuck that easily any more, in ChromaGun 1 there were many situations where you had to restart the level and re-play the whole level <= this was what most negative comments we had were about
Maaaany new features and puzzle mechanics
We've switched from Unity to Unreal Engine 5
We invested way more in visuals
We finally have a sound designer & composer in our team which makes the whole experience so much better
Increased playtime: The game isn't done yet, but my feeling is that we're heading towards a way higher playtime than in the first title
The levels aren't "flat" any more which makes the puzzles much more appealing
A lot of different universes - you can spot a couple of them in the trailer
The focus of the game will be a bit more narrative-heavy than in the first title,
This is our first publishing deal ever after two self-published titles. We're excited to work with such an experienced publishing team for the next game!
This is also the first time we have ever shown a trailer for ChromaGun 2. We hope you like it!

What's New?
Here's a complete (for now) list of features we're going to add in the Anniversary Update:

We've been working hard on the game and are now able to show you some stunning improvements. Check out these images for a look at how the game is going to change, visually.
Enhanced Sound
We compeletely revamped the sound design and audio structure of the game. That means, new, more dynamic sound effects – and best of all, support for full 5.1 surround sound!
Better Performance
Our new way of rendering the game opened the door to some fantastic performance upgrades. We're now able to render the game more beautifully at a faster framerate. So, smoother gameplay PLUS a prettier game!
Community Maps
This is the big one, the one you've all been waiting for. We're going to introduce community maps, as well as an ingame Map Editor for ChromaGun in the Anniversary Update. You'll be able to share your levels with your friends via Steam Workshop, and here's a short look at our work in progress.
