I am deleting The Eigengrau Menagerie from steam. Eigengrau Menagerie was my first full game project. I made it back in college in four months back in 2014. While it was an important part of my artistic development, there are a lot of things in it I would rather distance myself f
I am deleting The Eigengrau Menagerie from steam.
Eigengrau Menagerie was my first full game project. I made it back in college in four months back in 2014. While it was an important part of my artistic development, there are a lot of things in it I would rather distance myself from.
The story and world are non-cannon to my newer titles that take place in a similar world, the puzzles are poorly designed, many quality of life features (such as volume control) entirely do not exist, there are references to people I do not want to associate with anymore, etc etc.
I would rather this title not come up in the same conversations as The Müll Littoral and Existensis, and I don't want people to be under the impression that Eigengrau Menagerie is a part of the story/world/lore that I am telling in those games.
Those who still have the game will continue to have it in their library.
