Heatwaves and personal bs and whatever later, I've decided to compile what was supposed to be small patches all into one big-ass 1.1 update.
And with that, all tweaks and features I wanted in Butler Guillotine are DONE !
Here's the list.
NG+ features (unlocked upon finishing the game):
-> Chapter select
-> Chairs for sitting
-> No way to skip the cinematics, never.
-> Other, nondescript edits
By chairs for sitting, I mean "added first person couches to sit in as follows:"
They will be all over the game as long as NG+ features are enabled, so have fun sitting around if that's your thing. It sure is my thing.
Polished a few leftover rough edges:
-> Fixed cases where Jeremiah is wearing the wrong clothes in cinematics
-> Added a few indicators to make easy-to-miss stuff a bit less easy-to-miss (like Eric in the epilogue)
-> Added a warning when the game hasn't saved in a while to avoid huge losses of progress
-> Other small weird stuff that I'm too lazy to write down
Bonus:
-> I've made a guide on how to properly edit the game's one and only save file
Seeing that overwhelmingly positive still up months later sincerely warms my heart, and goddamn the reviews azzbijhzgbiorhrhrehlkl thank you all so much.
I really wanna give something back to all the amazing support the game has recieved so far, but I'm not gonna do the mistake again of setting a deadline without a clear idea of how/what/when it'll be done, I'll keep it at FREE MAKING OF DLC, MIGHT TAKE MONTHS BEFORE IT COMES OUT IDK YET WE'LL SEE
