We're expecting a big influx of new players these next few weeks, so we've made a bunch of tweaks to make the multiplayer even smoother. Here are some highlights:
Enhancements
- Added the ability to join public games at any time & public games stay open until end of expedition
- Added the ability to re-open a room to the public when selecting a new expedition
- Updated Co-op board to show when public rooms are in an expedition
- Made joining online rooms more robust
- Improved Singularity joining process to make larger games more accessible
- Christmas extended to first week of January
- Added optional analytics to help us improve gameplay and balance
Fixes
- Fixed some results screen display and reward issues
- Fixed problems with Extraction and Anomaly directive missions
- Shotgun spawn in Mission 2 now appears when Exploring in the same cave
- Many other small UI, gameplay, and useabillity fixes
And finally, just in case you missed it, we quietly added Crossplay with Quest in patch 1.6.018.374. It has been running smoothly since then and we're happy to bring more eyes to it now.
