Fix for Vampire Knight - now unable to use Blink skill to jump on top of other objects. Prevent lock if trying to load a game you were Victorious on...
Humble apologies - Unlocks should now be working again! I've added a "cheat" so you can reclaim your lost points: On the main menu, hold down CTRL+Z You will be taken to the Unlocks screen and be given 30 points - this is about the same as completing a run on Normal. There is not
Fix for lock involving summoned creatures attacking fleeing enemies - hopefullly! Please let me know if this is still happening. Ghosts made 25% more expensive - i.e. enemies can now take fewer of them. Ghostly terrifying scream effects reduced at longer ranges. At range 1 tile y
I added some extra protection against Elites, early in the run, on lower levels. For example, if you run up against an early lone Queen Spider, it will now have (even more) reduced stats. I noticed someone has won on Hell level already! Congratulations! I don't want you to think
Fix for hero not added to party under certain conditions
V1.00.00 ready for release on Friday! Many adjustments to game difficulty. Levels renamed to fit difficulty better - there is no more easy mode, that is now normal! In general, act 1 a little easier, act 3 is really ramped up. A few bugs too - skeletons can no longer take bleed d
Mostly, made things a little easier. Boss fights, Elite fights, higher levels - you should now face a few less or weaker troops. Elf mage - magic power turned down a notch or two. A few typos and spelling mistakes fixed A lot of Artefacts unlocked at 100 points - these are now be
Mostly quite small issues now - thanks for reporting, all! Fixed summoned creatures when returning from Flying High Death Touch damage much less random Sound effect when using Distract skill On summoning a creature, if creature is behind a tree, tree will now auto-fade Witch AI -
You can now inspect the heroes you can recruit mid-adventure again. Added 4K windowed resolution. Adjusted creature drops to be less random - e.g. a fight with spiders could give 0-5+ vials of poison. It's now most likely more like 1-2. Corrected the combat end of turn floating p
It was possible to edit your character's name to be nothing - unfortunately, the game tests character names to see if that slot is populated or not, meaning characters with no names are effectively deleted... Fixed! And another Unlocks bug fixed. Previously if you conceded the ga
Difficulty reworked: The easier levels are now a little more difficult as you progress into acts 2 and 3. The more difficult levels are now a little easier in act 1 (to give you a chance to get going!) and a little more difficult in Act 3. Unlocks fixed! Apologies this has taken
Lots of balance tweeks and a few new features: Injuries expanded and re-worked You can now see how far your party can move Fires burn out more quickly, especially underground More descriptions added to the events, so you can understand the choice consequences better Animation for
Balance changes and polishing, too many minor tweaks to mention. Easy is now a little bit more difficult. Hell is now rather less impossible. Multi coloured barcharts... The initiative queue is now less random each turn, so less double turns (guy at end of queue sometimes gets to
Lots of balance changes - main change is that difficulty now scales not just on numbers of enemies faced. Playing on Hell level could leave you fighting 100s of enemies - you will now fight a more reasonable number, but their stats will improve. The same is true at easier levels.
Rebranding! Let me know what you think. Rebalancing! You now start with only 3 heroes, and one random artefact. Don't worry though, your team will grow much more quickly than before! Many other minor improvements...
3 weeks worth of polishing and balance, plus many bug fixes. Now accepting feedback on all aspects of the game: Encounters too easy or too hard? Skills or artefacts too weak or over powered? Characters or skill picks uninteresting? Let me know!
