Bug fixes and rebalancing:
Buffed the range of the shotgun.
Fixed the player bullets disappearing upon leaving the camera's field of view.
General Improvements:
New sprites for Yucatan's boss fight
New sprites for Jalisco's boss fight
New sprites for Sonora's boss fight
Improved sprites for the "Teatro degollado"
Improved sprites for Mexico City's background
New tree sprite.
New visuals, effects and filters.
Minor changes:
Removed the Jalisco's bonus level from permadeath and realistic mode.
An issue has been fixed where, in 30 fps gameplay recordings, some sprites could become completely invisible when flickering
Additions:
Added a "legends biography" in the extras menu
Added "Pro-Hud" in the extras menu
Added a new infinite game mode called "porfiriato"
Added local co-op multiplayer!
Is worth mentioning that there's a public new Steam branch available containing the Legacy release version of the game, in case you like that better!

Set in a dark reimagining of the final days of the Mexican Revolution, Dark Adelita is a fast-paced side-scrolling shooter where players step into the boots of Angela, a hardened adelita fighting against an ancient evil rooted in Mexican folklore. As a mysterious force awakens and spreads chaos across the land, players must run, jump, and shoot their way through relentless enemies and unforgiving stages.
It’s 1918. The war is ending—but something far more sinister has begun.
Feeding on fear and suffering, an ancient presence brings creatures of legend to life. As darkness consumes the land, Angela sets out on a deadly journey that will test both her physical limits and her sanity.
Designed around precision and skill, Dark Adelita delivers intense, high-stakes gameplay where a single mistake can be fatal. Players must rely on fast reflexes, mobility, and smart use of weapons and abilities to survive against overwhelming odds.

We have released a critical patch for the Dark Adelita Demo (v0.16 – Beta Demo).
This update fixes a major issue that caused the game to crash on computers configured in certain languages, specifically Russian and French.
The problem occurred because we initially planned to include support for those languages, but ultimately decided not to ship the demo with them. However, some leftover code was still referencing those languages. As a result, if the game detected that the system language was set to Russian or French at startup, it would attempt to switch to them and crash.
We sincerely apologize to anyone who was unable to play the demo because of this issue. The game should now run properly without any problems.
Additionally, the demo has been updated to our most recent build, which includes several improvements:
Improved graphics for the “Ciudad Guzmán” level
Improved mouse clamping
Improved menu visuals
English subtitles for cutscenes
