This update brings a few stability fixes. In the coming weeks, there will be a couple more updates focusing on further improving existing features, including much more customization to exporting.

Added better explanation to the encryption dialog, as well as backup buttons.
Added automatic configuration recovery in case it somehow corrupts, which is a rare bug.
Fix crash when loading certain documents.
Fix invalid counting in word statistics in certain situations.
Fix a bug where the text area's padding is invalid on first startup.

This update brings a few stability fixes. In the coming weeks, there will be a couple more updates focusing on further improving existing features, including much more customization to exporting.

Added better explanation to the encryption dialog, as well as backup buttons.
Added automatic configuration recovery in case it somehow corrupts, which is a rare bug.
Fix crash when loading certain documents.
Fix invalid counting in word statistics in certain situations.
Fix a bug where the text area's padding is invalid on first startup.

You've been asking for features, and we're happy to bring them to you. The Steam forums have been busy, and so have we. Thanks for all the feedback and suggestions so far! Added the ability to put notes in folders (tags). Right click a note and click "Set tag" to set its tag. Not

Added the ability to put notes in folders (tags). Right click a note and click "Set tag" to set its tag.
Note models now have an "Edit" option when right clicking it in the notes list.
Allow italic text in between quotes, "like this".
Fixed weird artifacts in some exports.
Spell checking label now has a hand cursor (like a link) to make it more clear that it's click-able.

Added the ability to put notes in folders (tags). Right click a note and click "Set tag" to set its tag.
Note models now have an "Edit" option when right clicking it in the notes list.

Another day, another update. The changes here are mostly stability fixes, but also an important new setting for themes that workshop authors have been asking for. No more screen resolution matching!
As of this update, Nimble Writer is also available DRM-free on Itch.io. Steam users have been asking for a DRM-free version for a while, and we'll be looking into giving all Steam users the ability to get the Itch.io version for free, so look forward to that in the future.
Added the ability to stretch background images instead of tiling them. (Checkbox in the settings dialog.)
Fixed Nimble Writer sometimes hanging in the background due to a stuck thread.
Fixed several crashes and annoyances caused by instable word counter.
Updated the zip library used to save and load documents, which fixes a couple crashes and glitches.
Fixed crash when encrypted file couldn't be opened and user tries to save directly after.

Another day, another update. The changes here are mostly stability fixes, but also an important new setting for themes that workshop authors have been asking for. No more screen resolution matching!
As of this update, Nimble Writer is also available DRM-free on Itch.io. Steam users have been asking for a DRM-free version for a while, and we'll be looking into giving all Steam users the ability to get the Itch.io version for free, so look forward to that in the future.

After some very busy weeks of a (secret) project involving Nimble Writer, here's another update that will fix a lot of visual problems that you guys have reported on the Steam forum.
Added a simple quickstart tutorial. (Existing users will also see this window the next time they start this update, but you can just click OK to get rid of it.)
Added the ability to move notes up and down in the notes list.
Changed the default notes width to 50%.
Made it possible to import docx, odt, and rtf files by "opening" them (from the load file dialog instead of the import dialog, both are possible now).
Made it more clear that the note panel can be resized with the slider.
Fixed an issue where closing the app right after setting Cloud Sync doesn't set the document up for cloud sync properly.
Fixed notes not being able to get imported when they have uppercase filename extensions.
Fixed a possible crash when a Workshop item you are subscribed to gets deleted by the author.

After some very busy weeks of a (secret) project involving Nimble Writer, here's another update that will fix a lot of visual problems that you guys have reported on the Steam forum.
Added a simple quickstart tutorial. (Existing users will also see this window the next time they start this update, but you can just click OK to get rid of it.)

A little belated update, mostly due to business and time restraints, but we managed to get some nice fixes in this week. Yet again, thanks to everyone for the feedback! Added the ability to export to multiple categories in the Wordpress exporter. Added the ability to attach tags
A little belated update, mostly due to business and time restraints, but we managed to get some nice fixes in this week. Yet again, thanks to everyone for the feedback!
Added the ability to export to multiple categories in the Wordpress exporter.
Added the ability to attach tags when exporting to Wordpress. (In our testing, we weren't able to actually get the tag list populated, which might be a Wordpress bug, but do let us know on the forums if it works for you!)
Added Ukranian dictionary and thesaurus.
Modified the way the Home and End keys work: they now navigate to the beginning or ending of the line instead of the ending of the paragraph.
Fixed problem when entering some unicode characters in search field.
Fixed problem with disappearing chapters when deleting the first chapter in a story.
Fixed issue when typing a certain unicode character, which would then be rendered as "xDO" due to smart quotes.
Fixed Workshop crash when updating an item file without updating the image.
Fixed random crash when exporting to Wordpress with images attached.

Added the ability to export to multiple categories in the Wordpress exporter.
Added the ability to attach tags when exporting to Wordpress. (In our testing, we weren't able to actually get the tag list populated, which might be a Wordpress bug, but do let us know on the forums if it works for you!)
