Fool that I am, I actually got my hopes up when Embracer Group acquired the rights to Deus Ex. Not because I'm a massive mark for the consolidation of capital, but because it talked a big game about wanting to make a whole bunch of Deus Ex stuff, in contrast to previous owner Squ
The finale of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided wasn't much-loved by fans, which was surprising because you'd think Deus Ex: Human Revolution would have lowered expectations. But it's like the classic bad restaurant joke, where the food's terrible and what's worse, the portions are small.
There are lots of contenders - Command and Conquer, Fallout, Doom - but on balance, I'm certain that the original Deus Ex is the greatest PC game of all time. Sadly, however, the Deus Ex prequels, Human Revolution and Mankind Divided, never caught up to the plot of DX1 - as of 20
You ask me, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a downright gaming injustice. Like Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire or Tyranny (Obsidian has form for these), it's a game that got a lot of things very right that just never made much of a splash. I mean, don't get me wrong, Mankind Divided
The Prime Gaming August free games lineup is upon us, and there's a whole lot to look forward to this month - especially so if you're a fan of great RPGs. With highlights including sci-fi immersive sim Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, masterful DnD adaptation Baldur's Gate 2, speedy rog
We didn't know it at the time, but the revival of classic sci-fi series Deus Ex that began with 2011's Deus Ex Human Revolution was about to come to a sudden halt just five years later, in 2016. That year saw the launch of Deus Ex Mankind Divided , which didn't quite hit the same
The Epic Games Store's spring sale is underway, from today until March 28th. That makes it twice as long as Steam's spring sale , which also started today. I'm not sure if that makes it twice as exciting, but here's what does: Deus Ex Mankind Divided is free to keep for the next
Spring isn't even here yet—March 19 is the official kickoff date—but already we've got two major spring sales landed square in our laps. Steam's big 2024 Spring Sale got underway today, and so too did the Epic Games Store's Spring Sale , which launches alongside a very good weekl
I know, I know! Some might argue that Human Revolution is the best Deus Ex game, but they're wrong, it's clearly Deus Ex: Mankind Divided . The last, new Deus Ex game to be made will be free to keep from the Epic Games Store for a week starting March 14th. Read more
Elias Toufexis, voice actor for Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Mankind Divided 's cyborg protagonist Adam Jensen, has bid a formal "goodbye, but hopefully not farewell" to the character, expressing hopes that somebody with a lot of money will buy the license and restore poor moody
In what’s already proving to be a pretty depressing year for the games industry, Embracer Group has decided to push itself back into the baddie limelight by cancelling a Deus Ex game and laying off close to 100 people. Yes, last week it was Microsoft electing to fire an entire to

Starfield and Adam Jensen actor Elias Toufexis, whose credits also include Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, and The Callisto Protocol, says that the absence of a new Deus Ex game is "insane." The last main series outing for the sci-fi, stealth RPG from Eidos and Square Enix was De
ctor Elias Toufexis has been busy in recent years, showing up as space spy Kenzo in The Expanse, delightful rubber forehead alien L'ak in Star Trek: Discovery, and The Penguin in Gotham Knights, among other roles. According to the actor though, he hasn't heard anything about repr
Deus Ex has been away for a while, as the last major game in the immersive sim series was released way back in 2016 with no word on what's next. While the RPG games still remain absolute classics, the actor behind Deus Ex 's Adam Jensen has revealed that he's had no call to come
Deus Ex Adam Jensen voice performer Elias Toufexis is, like us, wondering when we might get a sequel to Mankind Divided and Human Revolution. It's been seven years since the last mainline entry in Eidos' futuristic RPG game , and - to paraphrase the mechanical man himself - when
Eidos Montreal, the studio behind recent Thief and Deus Ex games, say they are "now the owner of the games developed, like the Deus Ex and Thief games." Likewise, Crystal Dynamics say they have taken "control" of its Tomb Raider and Legacy Of Kain games from their previous owner,
