Square Heroes gets Korean language support
Patch 1.6.2 was recently released with the following changes: Korean language support. Many thanks to the very generous fan dollppin for translating and testing it for us. Please tell all your Steam buddies from Korea to check out the store page and see if it tickles their fancy!

The Alien King is now less difficult to defeat, making the Kingslayer and Achievement Hunter achievements easier to obtain. We acknowledge that he was massively OP. ːsteamfacepalmː

There are a raft of new features and fixes, so let's get right to it:
NEW FEATURES / CHANGES

Cross-platform play with PlayStation® 4 (in addition to Windows, Linux and Mac)
Added Japanese language
Reduced XP required to level up to higher levels
Allow Heroes to have the same name
Added location to replay tutorial (near the professor)
Kingslayer mode now allows re-spawn if co-op friends still alive
Link new Hero to Steam account even after first Create Hero dialog
Added UPnP port mapping setting to fix connection issues for some
FIXED

Suicide bug when hit an enemy’s projectile with melee
Steam Achievements not awarded when language not English
Steam overlay on Mac
Deathmatch end level detection in net games when host is the last kill
Reduced crate pick-up time to mitigate crate synch issues with high latency remotes.

There are a raft of new features and fixes, so let's get right to it:

Version 1.5.2 patch release
Another bug fixing release is now live. Issues resolved: Game occasionally exiting when attempting to load level in single player. Timer continues when an offline or single player game is paused. Happy hunting! - Gnomic

For the first time a demo of Square Heroes has been released. Demo players are able to create and jump into online matches, so expect an influx of new players! The online modes are a huge part of the game, but we can't give everything away for free. The demo has these limitations:

3 out of the 19 Single Player levels.
No Achievements, and hence no stat tweaking hats!
XP Level capped at 5 rather than 30.
5 default weapons plus 4 weapons to unlock.
Other

Nuke explosion effect (when you get it, you will see it).
Numerous bug fixes.
Happy Hunting :D
PS: No need to go easy on the demo players. Even though they can't upgrade to the Sticky Bombs, Proximity Mines, Nuke bags and Molotovs, the weapons are balanced enough for them to cause you plenty of grief!
