New map system:
View the Waking World map and unlock names of areas as they are discovered. There is also a local map view for each outdoor zone, this covers open world areas, not dungeons or Dreamrealms.
New saved game location:
Saved game data has been changed to a new location! This change was necessary for Linux users.
When starting a new game and you previously had Early Access saves, you won't see your saved games loaded. There will be a button at the bottom center to "Transfer Early Access saves". This is a one time use, and will overwrite whatever saves you currently have, so use this first thing before starting a new game.
The saved games in the Steam folder will remain, but they are no longer active and can be deleted after transferring.
Streamer items:
Many streamer items are now in game. Some can be found in the open world, others have their own code to access them. Thank you for playing the game in early access and for all your feedback. I know many others have streamed, if you streamed the game during early access and want an in game item, let me know before the 1.0 update!

There is a large update around the corner. As of now, the main quest is complete. It's currently going through some testing to iron out bugs. There are also several big additions, changes and reworks to the game. This update is expected to be released in about a week.
For full transparency, this next update will come with a small but final price increase, as described in the early access notes.
I want to thank everyone who was brave enough to play through early access, your support means a lot. Initially I expected about a year of development time, but due to overwhelming support, I added so much more to the game. And all the support was able to help hire more artists and voice actors than originally planned. I also appreciate all the streamers, and the vods that were put up when I missed them. Watching these helps me catch bugs and make important changes to the game. And finally, thanks for all the positive and negative feedback, I can’t respond to all of them, but it has helped shape the game immensely.
After this large update, there are no more large updates needed before v1.0. The full release date has been set for October 3rd and we're currently over 15k wishlists.

You can now upgrade all weapons and magic at the Holy City forge and scholar. Right now, everything can be upgraded to a max of +3. I may make certain weapons or spells cap higher based on feedback. Upgrades cost rare materials found off all enemies. For those who have been playing -or if you just want a boost- you can enter a code in the Code Entry for some free materials: "SXEZSKOZ" (Limited time use, maybe until 1.0 release).
Movement has been fixed. While it's been fun for many to easily climb to the top of every location, the movement in its current state caused problems. There's a way to bring back the old movement through the Code Entry, if you want to have fun and climb again. But be aware it affects moving and jumping correctly. To compensate, the Interdimensional Cube and Aetherial Pathway times have been extended upon growth. The Cube's mana cost was also reduced. All previous areas to climb are still accessible, but it'll require new ways to get there.

- If you have over 1000 of an ammo type, that ammo won't drop off enemies and will instead drop whisper packs.
- You can now turn off the Bit effects in settings.
- Dreamflower quest is now properly finished from beginning to end. (There was a bug allowing you to turn it in early, if you did so, you just skipped a step.)
- People have been using magic to try and get to the Holy City, so now you can. You can even get there before the main quest starts.
- Lowered mana cost for certain spells.
- Nimves boss's attacks can now be evaded. It was never meant to be killed, but now die hards can have a chance.
- Interdimensional Cube and Aetherial Pathway now last longer upon growth.
- Nerfed the Drones in Arkngnulal Ruins.
- All stats that grow are now highlighted in blue in the tool tip menu.
- Weapon growth and codex bonus amounts are now listed in stats.
- More breakable wood within dungeons.
Bug fixes:
- Butterfly bomb spell fixed.
- Aetherbolt spell fixed.
- Bloom now stays off between maps when selected.
- Broken chest in Swamp Pits fixed.
- Fixed a bug where you sometimes couldn't use or switch weapons/magic underwater.
- Fixed world loading issues, collision issues, and more.
What's next?
There may be one or two small updates coming within a week or two to add things that this update missed. Plans for the next updates include: more voice acting, quality changes in UI, FPS fixes, and an ending to the Heart of the Voidlands quest.

Akumu is seemly far more favored than the Holy City for a main story path, and since early access is the time for changes, I'll be sure to focus more on the Akumu main quest in future updates.

Fixed a bug preventing you from obtaining the rifle when exiting ghost's dialogue early.

There are a total of 6 boss battles so far. Three more are planned for the full release.

Shoja Yun, the False Nightmare, part of the main story when siding with Akumu. Voice acting by Charles Lobaugh.
Digital Princess Aziza, part of the main story when siding against Akumu. Voice acting by Liv Ravenshaw.
You can still fight these bosses when picking the alternate story path.

Arkngnulal Ruins, a massive main quest dungeon.
Redaynia Falls, a semi-hidden map with new loot.
Swamp Pits, a new map with CBT enemy design, to be expanded upon in future updates.

Challenge previously encountered bosses and view their loot chance table at the arena. Each fight requires an Arena token, which is a finite resource at the moment. In a future update there will be new ways to get these.

Willpower now also increases magic projectile speed.
Massive increase to life and mana for each stat point.

Rare Dreamcatcher item to be found throughout hidden areas of the world, can be used to wake up at the closest camp or safe spot. Does not work in boss fights.

I wanted to note there will be a slight price increase upon this next update, which may be ready within a week or two. Referring to the early access description, Dreamspring released with an adjusted price, this next update will bring the game slightly further into its full vision.

-You can now break the intro barrels. Many of the game barrels were breakable besides those, giving the player the wrong idea from the start.
