A very big thank you to the UNLOVED community! (new and old)
I've gone through two very chaotic years, fueled by weed and alcohol, living the "Lebowski" lifestyle. White Russians and "magic cookies" for breakfast, lunch and dinner, all day long, every day.
Slowly but surely I've drifted into complete madness, living in exile, even blocking all my windows with newspapers. I was done with humanity.
Sometimes, I ate way too many cookies and drank heavily and went into the bathtub, not knowing if I would finally drift off and not wake up anymore. I didn't even care. Somehow, I must have had some kind of protection, because (and sometimes to my dismay) I always woke up again. I've also done some very questionable things, lived my life fully unhinged, not caring about anything, anyone or even myself.
Eventually, I've started having mental breakdowns. I've had so many, that I could feel them coming like a sneeze. And ultimately, I even started enjoying them. I learned to enjoy living at "rock bottom".
Without even knowing, I must have gone through a major depression that probably lasted longer than I care to remember.
The final straw happened a few weeks ago, when I was certain I would not survive my binge. My chest tightened and I got some of the worst panic attacks of my life. All in one evening. I've had the worst case of "nightmare trip" imaginable. It was hell.
After a few days of calming down from that trip, I've thrown all of my weed out and threw all alcohol away. No more "Lebowski".
Since then (and with the colossal help of the event that currently happened), I've ripped down all the newspapers and added some new furniture into my tiny apartment to make it a lot brighter, add vibrant colors and I am currently starting to enjoy life again without any substances.
So, if anyone out there is going through some tough times as well - all I'll say is do whatever your heart tells you. Somehow, you'll find your way. If a Fool like me can go through hell and come out on the other side, so can everybody else.
Anyway, long story short - I've recently started working on a new update for UNLOVED!
And believe you me, I will add a bunch more memories that may or may not be based on my experiences through that very chaotic time.
