A message from our Discord Server:
Starting NOW a celebratory level jam is live! This is to commemorate both the discord server hitting 3,000 members (hopefully for good), and the 5th birthday of Boxel 3D!
Levels are expected to have lengths that range from short to medium-long and have low-medium difficulty. Your level should be themed around the number 3,000 (as a celebration of hitting 3k members) and/or the Boxel 3D public release birthday (July 24th)!
Levels will be narrowed down to about 7-ish by event organizers after the event concludes. Those levels will be played and judged by four @Event Organizer and scored based on the following criteria:
Maximum 10 points for gameplay
Maximum 5 points for the theme and how well it connects to the theme of the level jam
Maximum 5 points for decoration/quality
Maximum 3 points for having a cake somewhere (high quality, creatively hidden for 3, one of them for 2, and it exists for 1, no cake is 0)
Maximum 2 points for a Tiny Tycoon reference (to commemorate the birthday of the game you all chose to ignore) (points based on quality and creativity of reference)
For a total of 25 points per judge and a max score of 100 points!
This winner will receive the @Event Winner role, a month of Discord Nitro, and their placed level in-game (includes the @Level Creator role)!
The submission window will close Thursday, July 31, 2025 3:00 PM.
There is a maximum of two level submissions a person.
Submissions are to be made in #boxel-birthday-event.
