Cyberpunk Inquisitor? What's That?
I'm making a rogue-lite point-and-click murder mystery! As an Inquisitor in a dystopian cyberpunk world, enter a Megabuilding and solve immersive, procedurally-generated murders. Question witnesses, collect evidence, identify the culprit and unmask the truth!
Sounds Great! Can I Try It?
Yep! Like I said, there's a FREE demo where you can solve cases as two out of five possible Inquisitors, with increasing Difficulty levels for an added challenge. Just click on the Steam link up above!

Great news! Vertical Drop Heroes HD is back!!!
After a long discussion with the publisher, we came to an amicable agreement to transfer all of Nerdook's older games back to me, so they are now fully under my control again (on Steam, at least). To celebrate, I have uploaded a NEW UPDATE for Vertical Drop Heroes (v1.0.4), and it's a MASSIVE, FREE update:
VDH was the very first game I ever made on Steam (in 2014!), and (hopefully) I've learned a lot since then. This upgrade adds a ton of improvements from the other games I've released over the years, including a big performance patch and a complete overhaul of the main game system logic.
I've updated many of the art sprites with brand-new, hand-drawn art assets, including a new logo for the game, redrawn tiles, character designs and new fonts.
I will continue updating the game with more changes and content from now on, so look forward to more regular updates and leave any feedback/bug reports in the comments!
Meanwhile, I'm still here and will continue making new games, including a football game infused with chaos and fun, called Super Senseless Soccer. There's a free demo on Steam, and every WISHLIST helps me a lot!

It's sleuthin' and deducin' time! The Magister - the new game from Vertical Drop Heroes HD developer, Nerdook - has finally arrived and there's a murder to solve in Silverhurst! Step into the shoes of a Magister, gather clues, discover motives, and unmask the guilty culprit! Build a deck and use a vast array of cards to fight or negotiate!

Randomly generated murder-mystery means every playthrough is different!
Use physical, weapon, and magic cards to overpower enemies in battle
Master 'Tactical Diplomacy' with conversation cards for peaceful outcomes

I shared the news with you recently that Vertical Drop Heroes developer Nerdook is working on a new game: a murder-mystery RPG card-battler called The Magister. Well, I'm delighted to say you can now try a demo of The Magister by downloading it from the game’s Steam page: download the demo here!
The demo has been released as part of the Steam Game Festival and it’s the first time The Magister has been publicly playable anywhere! It’s a WORLD PREMIERE!
In the demo you can...

Play through the first two days of the murder investigation
Sample the card-based battling and tactical diplomacy
See how different combinations of traits define your Magister and the overall experience
Get acquainted with the places and people of Silverhurst
The demo will only be available for the duration of the Game Festival i.e. it will be removed on Monday 22nd June at 10AM PDT, so be sure to download and play it before then.
