Developer posts and news about this game.
In my defense, I was mostly just waiting to clump it all together... After all, this is, after a long time, an actual GAMEPLAY-MECHANIC introducing patch! There's a HUGE amount of stuff in this update: new mechanics, major reworks, performance improvements, UI/UX changes, balance
With the launch of Trial Run , I've been quite busy the last few weeks to say the least... Doing what I enjoy the most, of course - fixing player issues; with lots of optimizations as dessert! Special thanks to Merly23, one of our commissioned artists, who took his time to review
At long last I'm finally able to officially announce this: View game page Our prologue has launched! Give it a shot if you haven't yet; it's free and will unlock you custom Unit Colors: ... Without beating around the bush this time, here are the... CHANGES The COMPANY Tab is fina
Hey everyone, Endless Tactics: Trial Run is now live! We can't wait to see what you think of the game and we're looking forward to seeing all your feedback. We're still hard at work on the full game but this prologue will give you a taste of the full game. All your progress will
... 1 month later, here I am! With a particularly stacked up batch of improvements to make up for it (I hope). I'm was finally able to get a substantial influx of feedback going (like with the last Update, but even more so now), and needless to say that has helped a lot to point
Still waiting for the launch... All ready, but I couldn't stop myself - Ultrawide -support, cuz why not? Amongst many many other little nudges of polish - most of which I didn't even expect would initially be in the game at all, so hope you all enjoy the fruits of my obsessive la
Yeah yeah, I'm late once again... But this time I have a damn good reason for it. As Steam Next Fest 2026 goes on, I figured now would be a good time to unveil it... Remember the pre-alpha-looking Upgrades Menu ? It's gone. We've reworked it from scratch - every little thing abou
20 days only now, that's what I call progress! Only missed the deadline for a whole week ;) ... Anyway, definitely not as exciting of a changelog this time, but as always, much important nonetheless (especially so if you're somewhere around the late game progression-wise). It's b
A whole month gone by without posting the goddamn patch notes... Not because of any lack of content at all, thankfully, but simply because I decided to live up to my name once again. Let's be real for a sec: the main menu used to look like crap, and playtime statistics more than
To quote the another contest post of mine: "So I've just decided to add yet another Artifacts game-mode"... AGAIN! Tho in this case, it very much IS scope-creep ;) (and don't worry, this won't delay launch, I'm just waiting for localization to be done, essentially). Now to be fai
changes: removed obstacles (they were getting in the way)
Not much to say this time (other than "sorry for the delay", once again)... The game is, as you all know, more than 100% complete by now (according to all previous roadmaps and such) - the only left to wait for is localization (and thus Steam page localization as well), so I went

Endless Tactics: Trial Run time at Steam Next Fest has just ended, and to wrap this up, here's one of the biggest Updates of recent! Unlike the likes of the Apex Update , this one's complexity lies a lot more beneath where the naked eye can see, but you'll more than surely feel t

That's been roughly 2 weeks for a change... It's been quite busy, to say the least, due to both the Video Contest that's just wrapped up, and a especially pesky issue that I spent days investigation and have finally fixed (aka the secret performance degradation that's been plagui
Back with another contest at last! Videos are a great great way for me to have some new influx of feedback (commentary/facecam are optional of course, but highly appreciated and very important to the dev process of Endless Tactics), so it's a win-win situation for us, if you're w
Finally back from my self-imposed holidays! Well, to be honest that was a while ago, but I've been too lazy to post my compiled changes (what a surprise)... Unlike previous times, nothing too impressive here, just a lot of smoothing, tightening of certain screws, fat trimming, an
Due to some annoying real-life stuff, I'm late again (sorry). But on the other hand, this is likely the biggest recent Update mechanics-wise! After getting a bit of a new wave of feedback these last weeks, I've been able to pinpoint and better examine many of the cruxes that've b
So... This was the old Roadmap - and yeah, it's fairly modest by comparison to what we have now, to say the least. Beyond that, many major features were added such as Turrets , Proc - gen (for maps), Artifact Anomalies , Custom Artifacts Mode , Apex Waves (Apex Units & Nest),
