I want to thank those of you that have downloaded and played my first game. I turned 58 last week and this is the most fun I've had at a computer in decades I think.
I plan to keep added features and updates as I learn more in preparation for my second game. for now, here are the latest gameplay and feature updates.
Added Player Respawn in Level
- 2.5 second time delay on respawn where player is invulnerable.
- Player respawns in the center of the screen instead of resetting the entire level when the player dies.
Added Homing Missiles
- New homing missiles target UFOs from anywhere on the screen.
- Homing missile earned at 20,000 points and each additional 20,000 points.
- Fired with Gamepad (B) / Right mouse button / Shift key
Added “Death Blossom”
- 3rd weapon added to the ship (you old people know what it is)
- Death Blossom earned at 75,000 and each additional 75,000 points.
- Fired with the Gamepad (X) / Middle mouse button / Tab key
Bug Fixes
- Fixed reset issue with speed
- Fixed issue with points going up to infinity
