Hey! While we're working on the next massive update for Jeepney Simulator 2, we wanted to give you guys a few quality of life improvements! We really wanted to make you guys proud after the overwhelming support and love you showed us and our game during this Steam Summer Sale! Jeepney Simulator 2 is only going to get better from here :)
NEW FEATURES
TABLET OVERHAUL
The tablet has been overhauled with a cleaner UI and new QoL features!
CAROUSEL: The jeepney tablet now has a carousel system. Press the arrow buttons to switch between different pages!
ROTATING MAP: The long awaited rotating map feature is finally here! When you turn your jeepney, the map POV and texts also rotate with it. This is on by default, so to turn this off, just press the "CAM" (Camera Mode) button on the bottom-left.
ROUTE SELECTION: Activate and deactivate your landmarks on the go! Make sure that no passengers are left behind in your jeep!
SERVICES: The services page is where you'll find the towing system. This is where we'll be adding any future services for the player and their jeepney
- Added job applications for other types of work (Cashier, credit card swiper, narrative girl, etc)
EXPERIMENTAL NEW FEATURES
CUSTOM DECALS: Use up to ten of your own images as decals on your jeepney! Learn more in the game's settings panel
AUTO GRAPHICS QUALITY: When starting the game for the first time or when pressing the associated button in the settings, Jeepney Simuilator 2 will automatically set the correct graphics preset for your game based on the amount of VRAM your PC has. Very Low: 1024 MB, Low: 2048 MB, Medium: 4096 MB, High: > 4096 MB
CRASH FIXER: For those of you who are experiencing crashing when booting up the game because the default graphics preset is MEDIUM, we've made it so the graphics preset is automatically set when you open the game after a crash
NOTE: These features are in the game and they are usable, but please keep in mind that due to their complexity, bugs may occur with these system. Please let us know if you encounter any problems so we can further improve and complete these features!
CHANGES
- Changed tablet map player indicator color to yellow for better clarity
- Improved Horizon Heights Unit 69 bed colliders
- Bigger lottery prizes! (But with 99% Tax applied)
- Changed lottery announcement to "the LOTTERY bronze prize winners" for clarity
FIXES
- Fixed NPCs still colliding with poles
