Our Kickstarter campaign has officially ended.
While the campaign did not reach its funding goal, we are deeply grateful to everyone who backed the project, shared it, played the Alpha, left feedback, or followed the development of Hell On Earth.
The campaign still had a meaningful impact on the project. Hell On Earth gained a significant number of new Steam wishlists and reached many players who had never heard of the game before.
That growing audience gives us a stronger community to build upon as development continues.
The Public Alpha Is Now Closed
With the end of the Kickstarter campaign, the public Alpha of Hell On Earth has also officially ended.
The Alpha is no longer open to the public, and new players can no longer access it through Steam Playtest.
We are extremely happy with the number of players who downloaded and played the game during the public Alpha.
Seeing so many players experience Hell On Earth firsthand, fight through its hordes, confront its bosses, and interact with the systems we have spent years developing was one of the most rewarding parts of the campaign.
The Alpha also provided us with valuable feedback and data that will help us improve the game throughout development.
Thank you to everyone who played, reported issues, shared feedback, or simply gave the game a chance.
Development Continues
Most importantly, we want to make one thing clear:
Development of Hell On Earth is continuing.
The Kickstarter was intended to help us accelerate production, expand the team, and deliver more content sooner. It was not the beginning of the project, and the end of the campaign does not mark the end of the game.
We have already spent years building the foundation of Hell On Earth, including its combat system, enemy hordes, bosses, progression, equipment, environments, and playable Alpha.
We remain fully committed to completing the game.
Our development roadmap remains unchanged, and we will continue working toward the milestones previously announced.
The road ahead will be more challenging without Kickstarter funding, but our objective remains the same: to create the dark fantasy action roguelite we originally set out to build.
We are excited to continue developing Hell On Earth and to show you what comes next.
We will keep sharing gameplay improvements, new content, development updates, and major milestones as production moves forward.
For those who want to continue supporting Hell On Earth, the most helpful things you can do are:
Wishlist and follow the game on Steam.
Share the game with players who enjoy action roguelites and dark fantasy.
Follow our future development updates.
Continue sharing your feedback with us.
Thank you again to everyone who supported the campaign and participated in the public Alpha.
The Kickstarter may be over, but Hell On Earth gained new players, a larger audience, and valuable feedback that will help shape the game’s future.
