Update 1.1 is now available on Steam.
This update represents our continued commitment to improving Mecha Blitz and building the experience alongside our community. We've been listening closely to player feedback, and Update 1.1 brings a wide range of improvements, fixes, and new content.

Launching by the end of July 2026, Update 1.2 will be the largest content update in Mecha Blitz history.
For the first time, players will experience a dedicated story campaign that explores one of the most important events in Mecha Blitz lore:
The Second Reconquest
Humanity is preparing for another attempt to reclaim Earth from the mysterious Ofanians.
You are one of the pilots selected for a classified operation known as The Watcher Protocol.
This new story mode will feature:
A fully playable narrative campaign
New characters and rival pilots
New enemy mechs and boss encounters
Multiple endings based on your decisions
New weapons, parts, and cosmetics tied to the campaign
Expanded lore surrounding the Ofanians, the Seven Survivor Ships, and the fate of Earth
Every pilot has a story.
Not all of them survive.
Mecha Blitz Mobile Launches This June

Customizable Bodies, Builds and Loadouts - With over 100 body parts and weapons to choose, from laser cannons to machine guns to missiles, design the way you play!

Final Demo Update
A final update to our demo will come for a limited time on September 19th and will last for 3 weeks, ending on October 10th. Afterward, the demo will be taken down as we fully release the game!
Community Contests and Tournaments
Our official community tournament, the Mecha Blitz Monthly will make a comeback with the final demo update, taking place on October 4th. Several contests such as weapon idea submissions, designs, color palettes and frame fashion will also be featured!

Time limit setup for Multiplayer Matches
Players can now set a time limit on their multiplayer matches. The player with more armor at the end of the time limit wins.

Lessen the tracking power of hand grenade launcher

Fix combo multiplier on dagger and fist weapons' last hit

The Open Beta Demo has been updated to match the tournament build we used during the first Mecha Blitz Monthlies Tournament for March 2024.
New Features
Private Lobbies
You can now create private lobbies that will not appear in the public lobby list. Each lobby comes with an invite code that you can provide to your friends so you can invite them to your private room.
Spectator Lists
A spectator list has been added to the lobby. The lobby owner can see the list of players spectating the game.
Code Redemption
We added a new code redemption function to the main menu. Simply put in a code to get an in-game prize. These codes can be acquired from promotions, prizes and giveaways from our social media and community channels.

Note: Codes disseminated during the beta test period will only be functional during the beta test period. Unless specified otherwise, such as tournament prize codes specified for the full launch of the game, these rewards will be reset along with all player data when the full game is released.

Mecha Blitz Monthlies March 2024 has concluded
After an amazing series of battles, the one to emerge victorious is Mikusim!
The Mecha Blitz team would like to congratulate Mikusim for an outstanding performance. He has won a code reward for the full game, the monthly discord title of Monthly Champion, and 500PHP worth of GCASH.
We'd also like to congratulate Megarock and MK, who won third and second place, respectively. They have been given code rewards and monthly discord titles of Monthly Challenger.

March Schedule and Plans Moving Forward
Here are our scheduled events for the month of March and the first half of April.
Balance and Feature Update
After this update, we will have balance and bug fix updates in the second half and the end of March.
The balance update in the third week of March will be a tweaking of weapon and armor numerical values, such as cooldown, damage, ammo count, etc
Whereas the april update will be a general bug fix and the addition of 'Tournament Mode', a PVP option that sets all players' weapons and armor stats to their base values. These updates will have a corresponding Extreme Exhibition Episode to cover their details.
Mecha Blitz Monthlies April 2024
The next Mecha Blitz Monthlies Tournament is set for April 13, 2024. It will use the April 6 Open Demo Build and the new Tournament Mode setting.

What are the Mecha Blitz Monthlies?
The Mecha Blitz Monthlies are monthly online tournaments open to all players of Mecha Blitz held in our official Discord and streamed to our official video channels.
On top of the prizes, the Top 3 Winners of the tournament will get special unique monthly Discord Roles,
"Monthly Champion" and "Monthly Challenger", which will modify their starting placement in future tournaments.
For our very first Mecha Blitz Monthly,

The tournament format is an online 8 player 1v1 double elimination tournament.
3 round battles, Best of 3 Matches.
Players will be allowed to change their loadout when they lose a match.
The stage for this monthly is Satellite Arena I.
The Tournament will be held on March 2 (Saturday), 5PM UTC+8.

Registration is free, but first-come first-serve.
Players will also need to be part of our Discord Community and have a Toornament Account.
Registration ends on Monday, February 26.
